Shy-gal and Drakon's training session!

Yozakura folded her arms beneath her perky breasts and looked to Drasna as both girls awaited her reaction. Hana was here initially for her own purposes but now she was just happy to see her old friend get this opportunity to learn from a woman like Drasna. The unique beauty was eager to hear what was next, despite the difficulty of the last test.

Yozakura smiled in a satisfied manner and nodded with Drasna's words, before her eyes widened at the request to spar. I mean Yozakura wasn’t helpless but she admittedly wasn’t quite skilled either, only thing keeping her out of the Young Lionesses like Nanami was some slightly better knowledge of wrestling. "Um, Ms Drasna, not that I can't do anything, but I'm a real amateur. I'm probably best at boxing and um....well I'm coming up to your waist right now and I don't exactly think I'll be towering anytime soon." Yozakura stated dryly, very uncertain of her chances at victory against a heavyweight. Hana simply nodded along with her teacher before offering her friend a comforting grin, seeing that, Yozakura decided; eh, screw it. "I mean alright, I'll fight you just don't let your opinion of me drop too much." Yozakura quipped sarcastically.

Drasna smiled and nodded in acknowledgement to Yozakura's acceptance of the praise, finding once again that the positive reinforcement would be best for her. Seeing her concern about the idea of the spar though Drasna would smile easily while waving her hand a bit to help assure the young girl.

"Don't worry dear I won't be going all out. I'll merely be defending and occasionally trying to get you into a smother. But otherwise I just want to see what offense you're capable of." Drasna said with a nod to her student before entering a grappling stance to prepare for whatever Yozakura may try.

Hearing Drasna wave her worries away, Yozakura only grew even more determined. She probably had some kind of shot at least. It was possible she could win, right? "Here I come!" Rushing at Drasna with a bold battle cry, Yozakura instantly began peppering her teacher with jabs and trying to sneak a hook in behind her defence. "You, BAM Wanted to see what, PUNCH I'm good at? This is it! Nanami trains me in boxing." Yozakura declared as she tried to pepper Drasna with blows.

Drasna smiled and nodded at the now glowing confidence of her student, and took up a stance in preparation. "Oh boxing hm? Howe interesting." Drasna hummed out, spreading her legs a bit in preparation as she watched Kura approach and start sending a flurry of blows!

Now while not a boxer by trade Drasna had been in her fair share of fist fights and had experience to spare, particularly she started parrying and batting Kura's jabs and attempts at hooks to the side while slowly letting herself be backed to the corner. Once there Drasna would wait for Hana to commit to a punch... Before spinning out of the way so that the girl's punch would instead smack against the corner!

Yozakura struck rapidly as she tried to sneak in an impactful blow. Despite her small stature, Yozakura
was best suited to brawling and boxing more than anything. Her petite frame making her knuckles particularly painful when sinking into the stomach or cheek of any lacking opponent. Drasna was no standard opponent got Yozakura. This wasn’t a fight with Rebecca, Niko or even a middleweight. The unique beauty's teacher towered over her in stature and fighting experience. As Kura continued to fail at penetrating the Drakon's defenses, she didn’t even realise the trap she was being lured into.

Hana was a nerve-filled girl by nature. It took everything in her to not run away and cower at the thought of performing in front of a huge adoring crowd of fans. But that was one thing, watching her adorable friend be lured into a trap was a whole other thing! Hana was fast, and with that came a sharp mind and keen perception in and out of combat. Watching Yozakura and Drasna's fight, the greenette couldn't remain an idle spectator. "Mmm....MMM...IT'S A TRAP, YOZAKURA, DON'T DO IT!" Hana squealed, catching Kura's attention and making her back off.

At first Kura was frustrated that she couldn't see the trap all on her own. Drasna was holding back and still nearly trapped her in the corner. After a moment of thinking, though, Yozakura ultimately realised that would have been better. "Captain, don't get it twisted, you're my hero, but if I'm ever gonna hit your heights then I need to make my own mistakes. Just let me play this out, Cap!" Yozakura demanded, not wanting any outside help from her friend and idol.

In terms of striking ability Drasna knew now that Yozakura needed no help. Jabs and hooks alike they were excellent in form, nothing but sheer experience would help her improve, or at least nothing Drasna could teach would improve. However in turn Drasna was spotting issues that she herself could correct. Overcommitting, lack of ring awareness, tunnel vision, indications of the lack of experience Kura had.

Looking to teach her to overcome such weaknesses Drasna was backing up intentionally to the corner, setting a trap for her opponent in the process. Unfortunately however the trap was foiled by Hana's shout from the outside, prompting Kura to back off. Blinking Drasna turned to Hana about to give her own two cents, only for Hana to cut her off, taking the words right out of her mouth. Smiling slightly and giving a nod to Kura drasna would put her fists back up. "Well said Kura, now let's get back to it." Drasna suggested, inviting Kura to come at her again.

Hana nodded in apology. The greenette felt guilty for hindering a potential learning experience for her old friend. "Yozakura, a-and...D-D-Drasna. I won't interfere, I p-promise! I'll just be referee like you asked!" Hana promised. The shy-gal had received her training for the day, she had no right to interrupt Yozakura, or waste Ms Drasna's time.

Yozakura nodded with a soft smile to her captain before she turned to Drasna. The blunette appreciated Drasna's compliments. Above all, Kura hoped that Drasna would like her, as well as train her. However, despite Drasna's compliments, a guilt weighed on Yozakura’s mind, begging to escape through her lips. "Ms Drasna...hit me with whatever you like." Yozakura offered, spreading her arms out wide. Hana clutched her mouth with a comical gasp, the greenette couldn't bear to watch. "Without Hana's warning you would've had me right where you wanted me. So you should take a free shot on me. I was sloppy." It wasn't easy for the unique beauty to admit, but that was her mistake and she was owning up to it despite her ego. It was a mistake like that, that cost her the fight with Niko and cost Rebecca the fight with Kura. Yozakura would acknowledge such a mistake, after all, she still had enough ego and pride to cling to the idea that she would have defeated Niko without such a mistake.

Truthfully Drasna wasn't too surprised that Hana had shouted her warning, and as unproductive as it was for Kura's training Drasna could at least appreciate the kindness and empathy for her friend. Still it seemed she now understood what she should do for this training session with Kura and she apologized. Turning back to hew newest student Drasna would blink in surprise as Kura offered a free hit on herself as compensation for the interruption. 'My... I didn't think she'd be willing to own up to something like that. Especially since it wasn't totally her fault.' Drasna thought to herself before humming in thought. "Lets see any attack you said right?" Drasna asked for confirmation and assuming Kura answered affirmatively she'd walk close enough till she was right in front of her. "This should suffice." Drasna said with a nod before raising her arm up and snapping her fingers out to sharply flick the girl on the forehead!

Yozakura and Hana waited with baited breath. Drasna was a very kind and encouraging woman but Kura had only just met her, and she was certainly kind of intimidating considering her imposing stature. The blunette took a deep breath and nodded as Drasna asked curiously if Kura really meant ANY attack. Yozakura wondered just what Drasna would hit her with, a power bomb? A stunner? Maybe just a good old fashioned, wild haymaker from the heavyweight. Closing her eyes and awaited whatever was in store for her, Kura yipped as the Drakon flicked her forehead. Hana fell to her knees, breathing a comical sigh of relief as Kura smirked.

The shortstack rubbed her forehead with a thankful smile to her new teacher, Kura really was lucky to be accepted as a student by such a sweet and caring teacher. "I appreciate not getting my spine shattered or whatever, but that flick wasn't making fun of my height was it?" Yozakura asked in her sarcastic tone as she forgot about training or her regrets for a minute, instead just appreciating the playful gesture of Drasna.

Drasna was never one to be called harsh or violent with her students, not unless a situation called for it. Hence when invited by Kura to throw an attack her way for free Drasna did so, but in a very light way via a flick to the forehead that was just enough for earn a yelp of surprise and pain from the girl which made Drasna chuckle a bit as Yozakura gave a sarcastic little jab back at her in the wake of the flick.

"No no, just making sure the punishment matched the crime." Drasna said as a subtle way of telling her student that what had happened was hardly her fault. "Now then... back to it shall we?" Drasna asked, re entering her stance to wait for Kura to come at her and resume their spar.
