Phoebe Justice vs Emaline - The Adventure of the Emerald Viper

"Cowardice...", Phoebe repeated the word in her mind, as she tried to recover outside the ring, gritting her teeth as she tried to pick herself off the ground, knowing that another brutal attack from Emaline was coming...

As the light in her eyes disappeared, she knew exactly what Emaline was going for... and exactly how to counter it.

It was quite simple really. Phoebe would simply need to raise her feet into the air, aiming them straight for where the Viper's face would be within a millisecond!

For all of Emaline's grandstanding and brutality, she maintained a placid demeanor even while she flipped through the air and perfectly performed another knee drop. But mere moments before she landed- "Mrph!" Phoebe's extended boots bashed into the Viper's face. A dull pain rocked her senses as she awkwardly flopped into the floor, her mouth dumbly hanging open and her vision blurring. The counter thoroughly stunned her and left her incapable of doing anything save weakly writhing about.

The moment Emaline crash landed face first on Phoebe's legs, the American rolled off to the side, breathing heavily...but feeling energy surging through her! Having been ragdolled by Emaline for so long, the Detective was now ready to kick ass and take names!

Swiftly climbing back to her feet before Emaline, Phoebe saw her rival stunned on the ground. Grabbing her hair, Phoebe forced the Emerald Viper to get up to her knees... before she stepped away, outstretched her leg, and slammed it against her jaw, trying to make her shot count with a hard Superkick!

"Mmm..." Emaline whimpered pitifully as she was pulled by her hair onto her knees by Phoebe. The dazed Viper swayed unsteadily on the spot, but before she could find her bearings- "Ug!.." Her opponent's boot smashed into her chin, bashing her jaw into her teeth and immediately laying her out once more. She let out an agonised groan, her eyes crossing and her body twitching.

After a long, long while of Emaline dominating, Phoebe was finally managing to fight back against the Emerald Viper. As she pulled her leg away after the Superkick, Phoebe stood up straight, crossing her arm at a diagonal across her chest, pointing up, as she briefly did a Superhero pose!

Taking little time to show off (with the crowd responsive to the heroine of the match coming back on top), Phoebe would grab her rival but her pink hair, and drag her back to her feet once more, trying to shove her back inside of the ring. The count have already reached 5 by then, and if it hit 10, and both women were outside, Emaline and Phoebe would both gain a point...and one of them still had the lead.

But Phoebe herself wouldn't jump back in just yet. Instead, Phoebe grasped the top rope with both hands as she jumped up onto it, and then off it, rotating forward in midair as she aimed her back for Emaline's body for a Springboard Swanton Bomb!

Emaline could do nothing but mewl pathetically, her head rocking left and right as she tried to clear the cobwebs out of her head. Unfortunately, Phoebe offered the pinkette no respite and promptly hauled her back into a standing position after a brief bout of showing off. From there, her opponent callously pushed her back inside the ring. Naturally, she failed to put up any sort of resistance and simply rolled onto her back on the canvas. The next thing she knew, the detective soared through the air and- "oomph!" she plummeted right onto Emaline's abdomen, leaving her desperately gasping for air.

Phoebe continued her swift offense, trying to keep Emaline on the ropes for as long as humanely possible. After her Swanton, Phoebe would swiftly roll off of Emaline, grabbing her hair as she tried to get her rival back to her feet, placing her head under her rival's arm, trying to lift her up for a Northern Lights Suplex!

"Mmmgggh!!!"

Only to be met with resistance from her own body! Her ribs started to ache again, right as she briefly lifted Emaline off into the air. She briefly hugged her ribs, before realizing that she couldn't give her rival a window of opportunity to fight back, trying to lift her up once more!

Phoebe pressed her advantage and pulled Emaline back up. However, just as she felt her boots leave the floor, they plopped right down again. Though she barely recovered from the Swanton Bomb, she was conscious enough to attempt a crude comeback. She kicked her legs out and shifted all her body weight onto her back in an attempt to drive the Detective's skull right onto the mat for a DDT. Should the Viper's reversal succeed, she would then roll away onto her knees and try to catch her breath.

Right as Phoebe tried to exert her strength on Emaline once more, the bigger woman did quite a simple counter on the dark haired Lightweight, dropping backwards as she maintained a firm grasp of her head! With Emaline's fall, Phoebe's head was driven into the canvas foe a classic but effective DDT!

"GYAAAAAGH!!!", the Detective screamed, holding her hurting head and kicking her legs against the canvas, stunned by the Emerald Viper's counter!

Much to Emaline's relief, she successfully executed her counter, allowing her to hurriedly roll away to safety. Wheezing for air, she lethargically pushed herself back onto all fours. "Such an irritating diversion..." She muttered disdainfully to herself before she glanced in Phoebe's direction. The pinkette's lips curled into a sneer when she spotted her opponent's downed body. Gathering her strength, she leapt onto her feet and sprinted towards Phoebe. Then Emaline hopped and turned her body her body perpendicular to ground, sliding across it to perform an elegant yet vicious sliding kick aimed right at the Detective's exposed ribs.
