Meet the Sister

Alanna considered what Marine had said. She had a good thing going with Emma here. Sure it was a small apartment, but she was truly happy with Emma. Yet, she had missed her sister (the only sibling she cared for at least).
“I don’t know, Marine, we just got settled in here.”
“This place is a shoe box. One of the bedrooms in the new penthouse is bigger than here. Why stay here when there’s a better option readily available?”
”I know, it’s just that Emma and I just moved in together. We are committed to each other.”
“Did you think I’d ban her? You’re welcome to bring your ladies- sorry lady along. More than enough room for you both. It’s a suite so plenty of privacy in your own area. Also three words… walk in closets.”

[Weonna]

"Mmm...walk in closets are nice...but I'm just happy to be with Alanna."

Emma commented as she smiled cutely and looked at her lover.

"Listen Alanna...this is your decision. I just want to let you know that I'd follow you anywhere ok?"

Emma would look lovingly at Alanna and awaited her decision.

Alanna internally cringed at the dilemma she was facing as everyone looked to her for a decision. She was in a good place with Emma here. But the Frenchwoman was posh and bougie, so the idea of moving into a penthouse and living her old lifestyle again was undeniable appealing. And a walk in closet. Alanna realized she’d be happy wherever as long as Emma was with her. Knowing in her gut it would take effort to get Marine to warm up to Emma, Alanna gave her answer in English do there was no doubt.
“I’ll move in with you, Marine, but Emma is coming with me. We’re a package deal. Take it or leave it.”
Alanna paused and considered.
“Bien. Two roommates it is.”

"Yay!!!

Emma clapped and cheered as she hugged Alanna tightly.

"Well looks like we're moving again~ when do we start packing again? Today or next week or...when?"

Emma asked with a glint of excitement in her eyes.

Marine smiled. While Emma wasn’t part of her original plan, she had gotten what she wanted. She would have to watch the bubbly Canadian.
“Wonderful. I will have movers come tomorrow, they’ll take care of everything. Just pack the essentials and sentimentals, really. The penthouse is mostly furnished already. We can donate or leave the rest.”
Marine extended her hand to Emma to shake. Assuming she accepted, Marine would shake Emma’s hand with a firm grip. Not hostile, but strong enough to show who was in charge.
”I guess we’ll need an extra set of keys. Would you like to come see the new place?”
Alanna smiled but was uneasy. Marine always had an agenda and she was being too nice here.
“Sure. Let’s go have the grand tour.”

Emma shook Marnie's hand and even though the handshake seemed to be normal for the Canadian, it seemed that Marnie wants to be clear that she is the big boss.

Innocently Emma would smile at Alanna's sister thinking nothing about what that handshake really meant.

When Marnie gave out easy instructions on what to pack, she asked Alanna if they want to see the penthouse. Alanna would agree to see the new place leaving Emma to follow and tag along.

"Oh I can't wait to see what is inside~"

The Canadian chirped with excitement as she stood up to clear the dining table.

"I'll wash the plates and everything once we get back to pack...I want to see the new place now~"

Emma said as she would wait for Alanna and Marnie to get set and go to the new penthouse.
