Aarna Mehta vs. Izumi Tachibana

Aarna was still locked in that hold, struggling as she continued to try finding a way out. Izumi had that locked in tight though, which was slowly wearing Mehta down more and more. Grunting and trying to put her body in enough of a position to escape, the Indian girl would feel that grip loosening around her neck, and in the process, Tachibana tried to grab hold of her legs.

Something that Aarna was fighting against, kicking her slender, strong legs to keep Izumi from getting a proper grip on them, thrashing underneath her. "Ghhh... No...!" protested Mehta.

And finally, the Transcendent realized she needed to react more strongly. She would then try to put her athleticism and flexibility to good use, kicking off the ground with both feet and then performing a handstand in the hold. It loosened enough to give Aarna more of a chance to breathe.

And finally, Mehta would then continue and land with both feet planted at Izumi's sides. And then, she leaped up, looking to make the most of her opportunity, and she attempted to nail a double foot stomp, looking to slam both of her heels onto her opponent's chest! A no doubt devastating move of she could land it!

Izumi had a good grip on her opponent, especially after spending more time than she would have liked being tossed about by Aarna herself and as a result she was trying to make the most of the opportunity. Thus reaching forward to try and grab hold of Aarna's legs she would look to pull back and pin the girl with plenty of leverage to try and end this match with a pinfall!

Unfortunately the more she tried to the more that Aarna kicked and flung her legs about, keeping them from the Azure Dragon's grasp and making it extremely difficult for her. Especially once she bent back and pressed her feet against the mat on either side of Izumi. 'What?' Izumi thought to herself in surprise before watching as the woman came down, feet first onto her chest!

Eyes widening in surprise as she saw this there was nothing Izumi could do as it happened, taking the wind out of her immediately as her legs spread out to the side. "Agh!" Izumi gasped out, immediately turning over and clutching her stomach in pain, dry heaving heavily, stunned by the move from Aarna and left unable to react!

Aarna had managed to gracefully escape from the headscissors and turned it into a huge double foot stomp onto her unready opponent! Mehta's boots slammed into Tachibana's chest and the Transcendent fell off to the side, holding her neck.

She watched for only a moment, seeing how hurt Izumi was as she was barely able to do so much as move! Aarna knew she had to act--it was her opportunity to get the win here. So she scrambled over to Izumi and then threw her back on top of her!

Grabbing both legs, Aarna Mehta pulled back and put her body weight on Izumi's shoulders, locking in a very tight pinfall! She wanted to see if she could get the win right then and now!

Izumi thought she had her opponent with the unorthodox pinfall and submission combination. Unfortunately she was proven wrong in the worst of ways as the girl managed to slip free and drive her feet into her chest knocking the wind out of Izumi completely!

Now left breathless and defenseless before her opponent Aarna was quick to try and capitalize, draping herself across the blue haired woman's body and pulling her leg up, pinning her down into a tight pinfall position with the count already starting at one!

"TWO!"

Gritting her teeth and shaking her head Izumi would turn sharply, twisting her hips and pushing her lower body up in order to jerk her shoulders off the mat and kick out in dramatic fashion!

Aarna Mehta held in the pin tight, trying to keep Izumi from kicking out! She heard the first count, then the second count, and then she felt Tachibana thrust herself out of the pin!

The Transcendent was bucked off of her opponent and she huffed out a sigh of annoyance and ran a hand through her hair. With a brief shake of her head, she ascertained she couldn't rest on her laurels now. She needed to continue going after Izumi.

Grabbing the arm closest to her, Mehta would attempt to yank Tachibana into a seated position. Grunting out loud, Aarna would then proceed to grab her foe's other wrist and attempt to cross both of her arms over her chest and neck. Aarna was going for a Straight Jacket Hold, and if she could lock it on, she'd give a full yank back with her knee in Tachibana's spine, looking to keep pulling back hard and stretch her back and chest even more! She wanted to keep working over the area she had just recently devastated.

Despite the best efforts of Aarna and her offense Izumi wasn't quite done just yet. Managing to kick out at the last moment of her pinfall attempt Izumi would lay on her side, panting softly, trying to recollect herself and get back into this. Aarna however was far from done with her and was quick to go right back to things.

Forced up by her arm and into a seated position with a groan Izumi would be unable to do anything as her arms were pulled across her neck, constricting her windpipe and worse yet, a knee began pressing into her back, not just putting pressure on one area, but a second as well. "Nghhh!" Izumi groaned out, bent far enough back that her ribs were visible, kicking her legs about in resistance, but otherwise unable to do anything else in retaliation for the time being!

Aarna Mehta had managed to wrest Izumi's arms and then give them a hard yank, holding the Straight Jacket Hold in tight! Keeping a firm grip, she kept ahold of her arms, keeping them pressed against her opponent. She could tell it was having a toll on Tachibana, but the Transcendent didn't take any time to be proud of her handiwork. She needed to keep the submission on tight. Gritting her teeth, she maintained her grip and then said, "Submit!" She made the demand, giving another tug on her foe's arms!

Then, the Indian girl would briefly stand before swinging her leg back and then dropping down into a kneeling position, thrusting her knee towards Tachibana's spine again! She wanted to see if she could get even more leverage out of the hold and drill another hard strike into her back! She was well on her way to do a lot of do a lot of damage on Izumi! She was willing to get a submission or work her over enough to make her feel the effects through the rest of the match!

Aarna was definitely showing more and more how competent a fighter she was. As demonstrated by her ability to wrest back control from Izumi, and put her in a truly terrible position, bending and pulling her arms to inflict as much pain as possible onto her spine, making the blue haired beauty cry out in pain from the position, but she wasn't done just yet.

No Aarna had even more planned. Leaping up and driving her knee into her back with a knee strike! "Aghhh!" Izumi cried out in pain, kicking her legs about but unable to do anything. Especially as Aarna did it again, and again. Making Izumi cry out in pain with each strike before she gritted her teeth.

As Aarna lifted into the air for another strike, Izumi would use this brief window of opportunity to turn sharply, unwrapping her arms from around her and pushing up to her feet all at once, even as her back screamed in pain from doing so.

Knowing Aarna would drop down into a kneel from the missed strike Izumi would try and pull forward on the Transcendent's hands while flinging her knee forward for a kamigoye knee to her foe's jaw! Before falling forward herself, landing on top of Aarna had the blow hit for a pinfall attempt!

Aarna Mehta was trying to drive her knee into the spine of Izumi, looking to just crash into her repeatedly to get her to quit from the painful stretch! She knew it had to be killing Tachibana with each passing moment she had her kneecap in her spine! Gritting her teeth, the Transcendent was getting prepared to try going for the kill and cinch it on even tighter. However, as Aarna went back up to slam her knee into Izumi's back, her opponent was getting up! With a gasp, Mehta was about to try holding onto that move, but unfortunately for her, Izumi was already moving!

She pulled Aarna into her, and then the Indian girl's jaw collided with Izumi's knee hard, and instantly her body shot back and she was laying down, stunned and staggered. And a moment later, Izumi was already on top of her in a haphazard pinfall! Aarna Mehta seemed completely out of it, looking like she might have been knocked out cold from the strike!

Aarna kicked out, her body flopping over to the side as her shoulder got up. She was panting, laying there as she put one hand to her chin. She had narrowly stayed in this match, and she was certainly seeing stars, but she had managed to stay in this match after such a wicked blow!

Things had gotten dicey. That much was for certain. Aarna's skill was far better than Izumi gave her credit for and she'd be damn sure to sing the Indian girl's praises later. Especially after that painful surfboard stretch. Painful, but not insurmountable to Izumi. Managing to find a opening to exploit and get her freedom Izumi would manage to catch the Transcendent with a brutal knee strike and take her to the mat, falling on top of her for a pinfall!

Only that wasn't enough. Albeit barely as Aarna managed to kick out just before the count of three, forcing Izumi to sit up and lament her haphazard cover that was likely the reason for Aarna being able to kick out. Frustration couldn't be allowed to take hold though. Taking a deep breath to calm herself down Izumi would turn over and grab hold of the white haired girl's shoulder, pulling her up as she fought to get to her feet. If successful in hauling Aarna up Izumi would try and throw her arm up, attempting to land a back fist into the side of her opponent's face!
