Even as she made her way down the street to the LAW gym, Lacey didn't quite know what to make of it. She had come to LAW expecting to take her relatively successful indie career to new heights, reaching a bigger audience than ever before and taking her talents international, but her performance in her first few matches had proved frustratingly disappointing, with loss after loss no matter how hard she tried. It all left her wondering if she should bother - and it only fed into those unwanted feelings and doubts in the back of her mind that she'd always be a disappointment, and that her career wasn't going anywhere.
But for all Lacey regretted her losses, she didn't regret the people she had met through them. Even if both Reiko and Arizona had beaten her, both had a healthy respect for the green-haired girl, and both were willing to get closer to her. She supposed she always did have a knack for making friends, and it seemed her naturally gregarious attitude had endeared herself even to her opponents. Reiko had wanted to get to know her more personally, and now, Arizona had extended the invitation for Lacey to meet up with her at the gym for some training. Lacey sighed to herself when she thought back on how her less-than-stellar efforts in her match had meant she would need to seek out training in the first place. But at least there was a light at the end of the tunnel. If Lacey had to train, hopefully, she could only learn her lessons about staying competitive with her fellow wrestlers at LAW, and bounce back from her defeats better than ever!
Now, coming to the gym, Lacey stepped through the door and onto the floor inside. There, she took a moment to glance back and forth, scanning the room for any signs of Arizona.
