Fox in a Rose Garden: Chie Akiyama vs Rose Martinelli (D)

Rose's thought process proved correct as Chie descended upon her from behind. The fox-themed wrestler slips an arm around Rose's neck and contorts her opponent's body backward, applying tremendous amounts of torque to Rose's spine as she begins to lock in a Kneeling Dragon Sleeper, attempting to either force a submission tap from Rose or render the pink-haired woman unconscious...To Chie, Rose only had two options to pick from...However, she hoped that...deep down...Rose would muster up the determination to create a path for herself...the path of RESISTANCE. Chie wouldn't hold back, but she'd be lying if she said she wasn't eager to see if Rose would have the resolve necessary to escape and fight.

Rose was about to attempt to stand up when Chie descended upon her from behind and pulled the pink haired girl into a dragon sleeper. Rose panicked and flailed wildly in the submission. Rose was in trouble with nowhere to run and the submission becoming unbearable seeming the only options were tap or pass out Rose was annoyed by her weakness until a third option popped into her head, Rose calmed herself before feeling around for Chie's head when she found it Rose pulled her arm back and made a fist. The pink haired woman then began to punch at Chie's face wildly attempting to make the fox themed wrestler release her submission.

Chie held Rose down, nearly bringing her to the canvas' surface as she choked the spirit out of the pink-haired woman, trying to keep her in place and force her to submit to the maneuver. However, much to Chie's delight, Rose was holding out. Her airways were constricted, but the woman's determined eyes did not waver. In a scramble, Rose reached up and made contact with Chie's face, balling her hand into a fist and striking the fox-themed wrestler upside the head, bashing her hand across Chie's temple. Chie attempted to grab hold of Rose's hand, but in doing so, she had to remove one of her arms from its position around Rose's neck, loosening the submission hold and giving the pink-haired wrestler a brief chance to escape.

Rose was struggling as the hold wrenched her neck to the point that she couldn't breath as she felt her fist making contact with the side Chie's head, and to be more specific temple. Rose squirmed her arm around as she felt Chie's hold slightly loosen as one of the woman's arms left position in the hold leaving Rose to guess she was trying to restrain her arm. Taking this opportunity of the hold being close Rose grabbed the other arm loosing the hold enough to slip her head loose and elbowing Chie in the stomach in the process. Rose rolled away holding her neck in pain and coughed as air once again flooded her lungs.

The elbow connects!!! Chie's hold over Rose is shattered as the pink-haired wrestler's limb comes crashing into the fox's midsection. Chie tenses her abdomen just in time as she absorbs the blow, but the impact expels a bit of air from her system as it knocks her back. Both fighters were down!!! Each wrestler was gasping for air, looking to recover faster than the other to seize the opportunity and take the lead. While Rose was coughing and breathing heavily, the white-haired fox grabbed hold of the ropes, using them to stabilize herself as she rose to her feet, sitting on the middle rope, trying to nurse her abdomen. She flashes a faint smile at Rose, feeling the thrill of the match course through her system. Seeing Rose's determination lit a similar fire within Chie's belly...head-to-head competition like this between two equal parties fighting for the same achievement often brought out the fierce, competitive nature within the fox...the need to be the best, to be on TOP...but on top of that, Chie's attraction toward Rose began to bloom that much faster.

Rose managed to get free of Chie's hold leaving both women down coughing and wheezing. Rose crawled towards the ropes using them to help herself up and turn to face her opponent using the ropes to keep herself up similar to her opponent while she caught her breath. Rose looked tired as she saw the faint smile on Chie's face and did her best to return the smile before stepping forward and away from the ropes preparing to grapple with Chie once more, Rose couldn't help but feel like she had a crush or at least found Chie really hot ever since the beginning of the match the thought lingering on her mind as she waited for Chie to reengage her.

Chie admired Rose's tenacity...as an opponent, she was frustrating, but Chie strangely enjoyed that. She was a fun challenge, yet also-...They had this strange chemistry together. Chie couldn't explain it, but she knew she liked this feeling. As the two scrambled away from each other, the fox-themed Joshi decided on her next plan of attack. She calmed herself down and decided to approach with a lock-up, going for a Collar and Elbow style grapple to try and overpower and outmaneuver Rose. "Care to dance again?" She joked.

Rose's mind lingered on her opponent but not on the match before reengaged by her fox themed opponent in a collar and elbow tie up. Rose quickly tried to return her focus to the match. Rose struggled and held firm as she heard Chie joke. "I wish this was an actual dance" Rose said with a soft smile before trying to return and take things seriously. "Come on you have to take this seriously" Rose kept telling herself as she tried to maneuver and lock Chie in a side headlock. If successful Rose would force the two down to the mat holding Chie's face against one of her boobs on accident causing Rose to slightly blush when she noticed but tried her best to keep the headlock locked in regardless.

Chie expected to outmaneuver Rose again, but to her surprise, the pink-haired fighter had learned from her past mistakes. All of a sudden, the white-haired Joshi felt her body moving without her consent before she found herself trapped in a Side Headlock, head up against Rose's chest. It was like a blur. Chie saw a flash of pink before suddenly succumbing to Rose's whim. "Gh-...!!!" The kitsune wrestler was taken by surprise, impressed that her foe was able to learn so quickly. Chie grunts as she struggles to find a way out, trying to gain some leverage to try and strike Rose in the back or elbow her stomach. However, the fox-themed woman didn't have a full range of motion in her arms. She was barely able to wiggle them, let alone try and attack. What's worse, she could feel Rose's arm tightening around her neck, pressing her face further up against the woman's chest, causing the white-haired wrestler to lose focus partially as her breathing got shaky.

Rose had Chie in a difficult position as she brought the two down to the canvas with her arm tightening around her neck pressing her closer and closer to her chest wondering if she could just make Chie tap out in this position considering how the woman seemed unable to struggle and Rose in full control. "Come on Chie, just tap, I don't want to hurt you" Rose said while tightening her arm as tight as she could around Chie's neck trying to get her first point of her debut match as the crowd cheered the two women on.
