Helena DuBois vs Lyra Heartfield - Steel Cage Match

Helena felt like she had control after spiking Lyra's skull off the mat and she was ready to keep rolling. "Know. Your. Place." Helena said as she yanked Lyra up by their again. Helena wrapped an arm around her head and grabbed the waist of her wrestling attire and lift looking like she was going for a vertical suplex. However Helena held Lyra straight up and moved towards the cage, throwing Lyra forward instead looking to smash her against the cage wall! There was a nasty vindictive look on Helena's face as she was trying to now smash the fight out of Lyra. She was going to outright destroy this little bratty fortune teller for ruining her Apex run, for daring to beat her when she should have been under Helena's boot.

Lyra groaned as Helena dragged her over to the cage wall and flipped an arm over the head. She would then be lifted, but Lyra quickly got her right boot under the bottom rope which proved to be a deterrent to being suplexed into the cage wall! It seems in Helena’s pursuit of dominance, she didn’t think there would be one way Lyra could counteract with. Lyra kept herself grounded before trying to execute a inside cradle rollup pin! It might not end the match, but Lyra found her ticket to an escape route!

Helena felt herself rolling the other way and before she knew it her shoulders were down against the mat! Helena howled as she was stuck, thrusting out of the pin right at the two count. "Stupid bitch...." Helena hissed as she kicked out and tried to recover looking to mount Lyra and punch away at her! She was trying to pound the resistance out of this woman again, opting for simple, hard strikes hoping they would be effective!

Lyra would cover her head as Helena laid waste into her with the hard strikes. The referee was powerless to do anything to stop her so Lyra had to endure Helena’s wrath. However, Lyra scooped Helena up by the thighs and rolled her over seemingly locking in a matchbook rollup pin. The referee counted to 2 again, but Lyra lifted Helena up in powerbomb position before throwing her straight into the cage wall like she tried doing to Lyra!

Helena hammered away at Lyra but Lyra managed to move and grab Helena lifting her up as if her strikes did nothing! Helena shook her head in shock before being lift high and crashing painfully into the cage wall! "AAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH!" Helena shouted as she smashed against the cage before crumpling to the mat in a heap, barely moving or showing signs of life aside from a long, low groan of pain that escaped her lips as she laid on the mat.

Lyra would not hesitate going for the cage wall nearest to her and start climbing the ropes in order to try and make her escape. Her pain and torment she had suffered throughout this match hindered her, however, and the cage added more intensity to her fingers. Lyra climbed slowly moving up an inch at a time.

Helena was down and out on the mat as Lyra was climbing leaving her on the canvas. Helena groaned and staggered up to her feet knowing she had to act or she would lose yet again to this woman. Helena made it to the cage and reached up unable to reach Lyra. She climbed up onto the wall trying to get her feet on the ropes hoping to use their bounce to get some added height as she tried to reach up and grab onto Lyra's leg to try to pull her back down to the ground! Helena was feeling desperate, knowing that Lyra had been soaking up most of what Helena threw her way.

Lyra was hindered and was slow to climb suffering some fierce punishment from Helena. Even so, she still had strength to climb up using the cage wall. She had a few scrapes in her fingers as the steel was cutting into her skin, but she had to put it out of mind and not look weak. Helena caught her boot trying to pull it her back down and Lyra was force to drop onto the top rope, but bounce on the canvas. Lyra glared with one eye closed at Helena running to hit multiple axe handles at the back and pull her off the cage wall! Clearly, Helena didn’t learn her lesson!

While Helena succeeded in pulling Lyra down she didn't think her opponent would land on her feet! Before Helena could move she was being hit hard in the back as she grunted and slumped, falling down off the cage wall and slumping against the ropes in pain after Lyra hammered her hard on the back. Helena shook her head and tried to swing an elbow backward to keep Lyra at bay hoping to be able to recover and stand back on her own feet again facing Lyra.

Lyra got hit with the elbow backing off as she just stared at the crowd with a blank pained expression. She wasn’t finished yet with Helena and that one shot wouldn’t ward off any punishment Lyra had in store for her rival. Lyra grabbed Helena’s head to thrust it straight into the cage wall wanting to use the steel structure to her advantage!
