Helena DuBois vs Lyra Heartfield - Steel Cage Match

Helena never expected a low blow from Lyra. However this match was turning into an entirely unexpected battle. Helena was ready to smash her head off the turnbuckle again when the low blow connected sending her stumbling back and dropping to her knees. Helena groaned in pain, shaking her head with her hands between her legs as she was on her knees a few feet behind Lyra. How was this happening? Was that desperation? Helena had worked her over well so she had to get back on track but right now that wasn't going to happen as she was still stunned in agony.

Helena and the crowd could actually agree on one thing: they never expected Lyra to be so cold and so ruthless to actually hit a low blow. People still loved seeing Helena get her just desserts, but others were wary that this wasn’t Lyra at all. She seemed to be an honest wrestler willing to play by the rules as much as possible and here she was playing Helena at her own cheating game. Lyra threw back her head and laughed as she stomped on Helena’s midsection loving the thrill of inflicting pain.

Helena groaned as the stomps came crashing down and she used her arms to cover up. That helped a little, but her arms were sore after taking a few hard shots! She tired to grab onto Lyra's ankle and shove her away, trying to do something to create the room she needed to rise back up to her feet. Things were spiraling downward and Helena did have a few ideas as to how to get back into the match but she wanted to try to save them for when she was really desperate.

Lyra would not let up and got Helena back up grinning at her. So far, Lyra seemed to succeed at playing mind games and giving Helena a fair amount of punishment. Lyra would knee Helena in the gut if she could and sent powerful elbows down on the back. If Lyra could get that far, she would still be laughing and stalk Helena daring her to attack her. She wanted Helena’s hatred of her to fuel her attacks to be more ruthless and in exchange, make Lyra more determined to inflict the same amount of punishment back.

Helena saw Lyra stalking her and laughing. What was wrong with her? If she wanted to give Helena an opening Helena would be more than happy to make her pay for it. The Canadian stayed low before lunging at Lyra reaching out to grab her legs while moving forward to lift Lyra up and over her while holding her legs. Helena let out a scream and she whipped forward sending Lyra crashing down to the mat with a quick Alabama slam!

Lyra gasped as Helena sprung into action grabbing her up and lifting her body on the rich bitch’s back. Lyra would be grabbed by her legs and about to be dropped with a devastating Alabama Slam! However, Lyra wasn’t keen on going down without a fight and as Helena flung her forward, Lyra’s nails dug into Helena’s back dragging lines into her opponent as Lyra hit the mat! Regardless of Helena’s reaction to the pain, Lyra was still grabbing her back and breathing in and out hoping that her own move bought her some time to recover.

Helena's back was scratched up and she reared up after sending Lyra to the mat, but this just further aggravated her. She scowled and stomped down on the chest and head of Lyra before trying to yank her up to her feet. Helena wanted to make her pay and show her where her place was in the ring! Helena tried to lift Lyra up and lift her up onto her shoulders spinning around a few times before leaning to the side to send her to the mat with a death valley driver!

If this was successful Helena would lay across Lyra's chest and go for a pin, hooking one of Lyra's legs in the process.

Lyra covered herself and tried to keep her body protected when Helena went into stomping down harshly on her. Lyra would then be dragged to her feet groaning and lifted on Helena’s shoulders. Lyra would be spun around as she could barely tell where she was before Helena acted on her next move. The rich Canadian put her foe down with a Death Valley Driver making Lyra spring up before dropping on her back. Helena covered and hooked a leg trying for the victory!

“1! 2! Thr-!” The referee counted almost ending this match on a whim, but Lyra kicked out in the nick of time!

Helena groaned as she was on her knees after Lyra kicked out, sure that she should have just won! She shook her head before reaching down to grab Lyra by the hair bashing her head off the apron a few times before yanking her up to her feet. Helena was trying to hook the womans arms and wedge Lyra's head under Helena's left arm to position herself to spike the fortune tellers head off the mat with a double underhook DDT!

Lyra groaned as her head was smacked down into the apron for what felt like a hundred times. Her world was spinning after nearly losing and Helena was not going to let up. Lyra was lifted and drilled down onto the canvas rolling through on her back! She hissed grabbing her head and thrashing around on the canvas. This wasn’t looking good for her.
