Blanco came down fast and hard with the tornado DDT, the momentum off the ropes whipping both mens’ bodies as they came down to the mat. Releasing Chris, Blanco rolled over and checked to see the effects of the impact. Finding Chris laid out, Blanco had a choice to make.
A pin attempt could possibly work here, but it was early in the match yet. Blanco didn’t expect much out of it, but he could see how Chris would respond, and at least force him to expend the effort …
Stepping up to the downed wrestler, Blanco turned his back to him, then pulled up his legs. Blanco folded Chris’ legs around his arm in a figure-four position, to get him stuck. Then, Blanco rolled over Chris, folding him up with his legs firmly in grip, pinning him underneath with a figure-four jackknife!
”ONE!”

Re: High-Flying Action: Blanco Sombra vs. Chris Hicks
Chris felt Blanco grabbing onto his legs and had the urge to kick the luchador in the face but didn't have the energy at that moment to do so. Soon Chris was pinned in a way he hadn't really seen before his legs where in a figure four position as the referee began his count. "Oh fuck off" Chris said to the referee as he raised his shoulder and sat up a bit and elbowed Blanco in the torso repeatedly trying to force his masked opponent to let his legs go.

Re: High-Flying Action: Blanco Sombra vs. Chris Hicks
Bridged over, Blanco’s body was pulled lean and arched up toward the lights as he locked in the bridging figure four jack knife. A tricky hold, it looked good and could easily trapped a battered and exhausted opponent … which at this point in the bout, Chris most certainly wasn’t!
“AGH!” Blanco grunted as Chris slammed him in the ribs to break the hold. With a quick twist of his arms, Blanco released his opponents legs and rolled off the hold. Getting up to one knee, Blanco took a moment to catch his breath and size up his opponent, trying to see where Chris was, and how effective his last round of offense had been …

Re: High-Flying Action: Blanco Sombra vs. Chris Hicks
Chris managed to force his luchador opponent to release his legs by punching him in the ribs. Not to remain idle Chris quickly jumped to his feet and ran at Blanco to attempted a follow up to his previous hit to Blanco's ribs with a big running knee to the luchador's face. If successful in stunning his opponent with the running knee Chris would work quickly to reestablish his offense. Chris would reach down and grab Blanco's arm and stretching his legs across the luchador's chest locking in an arm bar submission. This would do one of two things, either the luchador would tap out or Chris would wear his opponent down with the submission.

Re: High-Flying Action: Blanco Sombra vs. Chris Hicks
Chris seemed to recover in a flash, flying forward with a running knee strike. Blanco stepped back, trying to raise his arms in a guard. The impact of a running knee with his opponent’s full weight behind it still carried through, however, and while it didn’t bust him open it definitely would leave the luchador reeling!
Quickly, Chris caught Blanco’s arm and started to pull him back. Grunting, Blanco tried to lock his wrists to block the armbar. And while that kept Blanco’s arms from being fully wrenched into a brutal hold, it left him completely immobilized in the ring.

Re: High-Flying Action: Blanco Sombra vs. Chris Hicks
With his knee strike successful Chris quickly went for an armbar but couldn't lock it in because Blanco locked his wrist. Chris was annoyed gritting his teeth as he sat up and glared at Blanco. "You think that will help you?" Chris asked in an annoyed tone with Blanco's arm still in his grasp. Chris then threw all of his weight back while keeping the grip on Blanco's arm in an attempt to break Blanco's resistance and lock in his submission. "Come on tap out" Chris urged.
