Ash Daniels vs. Vida Fenix

It had been a while since Ashley Daniels had been back in the ring on her own. She might have been a tag team wrestler first and foremost, but a wild spirit like hers wasn't one that was content to stand on the sidelines for part of the match while her partner did the work. She wanted excitement! She wanted to be where the action was! And when she hadn't had the most impressive record when it came to her matches so far, Ash especially wanted to challenge the perception that she was a washed-up jobber who wasn't good enough to earn her place on the card. Luckily, it seemed that the perfect opportunity was just around the corner. Tonight, she'd be back in action - and she was intent on turning things around!

"The following match will be scheduled for one fall! Coming first to the ring, from Santa Monica, California, and representing the SoCal Connection! At 5'4, weighing 118 pounds, AAAASH DANIELS!!"

As her music started playing, Ash jumped through the curtain to the top of the entrance ramp, thrusting a fist triumphantly in the air overhead. She might not have been the most famed or accomplished wrestler in LAW, but it seemed as though she had well enough of a fandom for her return to singles competition to make some noise - or maybe her infectious energy was just too much to be ignored! A cheer ripped through the stands, and Ashley grinned even wider to hear it!

"WASSUP, EVERYBODY!?" the redhead cried, as she took off running down the aisle, slapping high-fives as she went. As she came to the ropes, she jumped up to vault over the apron and into the ring - though she was no acrobat, and she stumbled a little bit as she skidded to a halt. Still, she shook herself out a moment later, standing tall with her hands on her hips as she faced the ramp and awaited her opponent's arrival. She wasn't going to let anything get to her!

Backstage, Vida Fenix was prepping by hopping on her feet. She kicked her knees high, twisting her shoulders, limbering her lithe young body up for the thrilling acrobatics that she was about to unleash in the ring. Vida looked in a mirror and grinned, flashing herself a smile and a thumbs up of encouragement.

“You’ve got this, Vida!” she told mirror-her, before taking a moment to make certain her tights were hugging her body in the right ways and going to stay in place for the match. There was a clap, however, and Vida turned to see the LAW production crew waving her to the entrance ramp.

Vida Fenix exploded onto the ramp by jumping through the curtains as Shakira’s Suerte started. Vida tried not to look rushed, as she enthusiastically walked down the ramp high-fiving fans and smiling wide. Then, as she reached the ring, Vida stopped. She drew the sign of the cross over her chest, before hopping up onto the apron. Vida wiped her boots three times, then grabbed the top rope.

With a pump of her legs, Vida flipped over the top rope, rolling into the ring and coming out of it posing on her knee. Vida stretched her arms out wide with a smile, welcoming the fans’ cheers.

“Ready for a great match?” Vida asked, getting up. The young luchadora rose to her feet and extended a hand to her opponent for a welcoming handshake.

With her opponent making her way down to the ring, Ashley raised an eyebrow - Vida had definitely caught her attention. She might not have known much about this girl, but she definitely looked like she was going to be fun! The sense of energy and excitement radiating off of her was well apparent from the moment she stepped out onto the ramp, and when the whole crowd was cheering her on with every step she took, Ash's grin could only get wider with anticipation. When she flung herself over the top rope in a display that garnered her a few cheers, Ash could only be even more excited! The fans had begun clapping for Vida's impressive moves, and with a nod of her head, Ash was quick to clap right alongside them!

"Hell yeah, I am!" Ash was in this business for the fun and the thrills of competition, and Vida was looking like she was going to deliver on that in spades! The luchadora extended her hand for a shake, and Ashley threw her hand forward to smack her palm with a rather vigorous high-five. Still, she grabbed hold of her hand a moment later for a more conventional handshake, and she nodded to Vida all the while, the smile never falling from her face. "Let's give 'em one to remember!~"

The two girls seemed like they were well on one another's wavelength, and both were looking forward to a challenge they could enjoy. But for all her goodwill, Ash was a little more devious than Vida was likely prepared for. As the referee stepped in to inspect the two of them and go over the rules, the redhead took a step back, leaning into a stance and eyeing Vida closely, her hands resting on her bent knees...

*DING DING DING*

...but as soon as the bell rang, she wouldn't leave her opponent any time to prepare! Taking off like a cannonball, Ashley rushed in toward her opponent with her arm raised, looking to skip all the formalities and hit her with a clothesline right from the get-go! This was what Vida had to expect from her opponent, and Ash was going to make sure she knew it!

“Yes!” Vida grinned at the handshake, thinking that Ash was returning the same energy that she planned on putting into this match. Vida watched Ash as she went to her corner to get checked over, Vida making sure to comply with everything the ref told her. The young luchadora came out of her corner with a spring in her step, lithe body bouncing with every step toward the center of the ring. Vida flashed one more smile back to the fans in the crowd, silently thanking them for their support as she went into this bout …

The bell rang, and on instinct Vida squared her hips and started to lift her arms to look for a lock up with her opponent. Vida was ready to snap into a familiar sequence, maybe start things off with some arm drags to keep the action moving and showcase her speed and technique … except that Ashley was more than ready to come in hard and fast, and throw all that technique right in the trash!

“Hhhnngh!” Vida grunted as Ash’s clothesline smashed into her chest and knocked the wind out of her! Vida fell back, her back hitting the mat with a loud crash. Vida landed flat on her back, wincing. Vida moaned in pain, her knees rubbing together as they pointed up toward the arena lights.

Vida blinked a few times, trying to locate her opponent in the ring before getting herself up off the mat. The luchadora wanted to keep moving, try to get back the momentum that Ash had managed to squash right off the jump. Vida blinked through the pain, rolling onto her side and trying to get up on her hands and knees.

Ash could sense the energy and excitement in Vida, and it only made her all the more eager to get this match underway. She was someone who was out to have fun with everything she did, and she could already tell that Vida was an opponent who would give her a match worth remembering - if they came at one another with the same enthusiasm, the action could only be taken to the next level! But just because Ashley was looking forward to this match didn't mean she was going to go easy on Vida. From the moment the bell rang, the redhead was going to throw her for a loop, charging at her in a blitz as she hurled a clothesline straight across the luchadora's ample chest!

A few cheers went through the air as Vida was thrown off her footing and hit the mat hard, kicking the match off with no shortage of thrills! As she skidded to a stop, Ash planted her hands on her hips, standing tall and beaming with pride. But she wasn't going to let up just yet - after all, things were only getting started! She looked down to see that Vida was starting to crawl away from her, but Ash was going to strike while the iron was hot. If Vida had gone down, she'd just be wide open for a follow-up, and Ashley had that ready to go!

"Where do you think you're going?" the Californian girl chimed in. Not giving Vida a moment to get away, she took off running toward her to close the distance - and as she came near, she would hop off the ground, throwing herself on top of the luchadora to knock her back down with a hip drop!

Shaking her head and groaning in pain, Vida tried to escape Ash before the girl could press her advantage … and she failed. On her hands and knees, perky ass up in the air, Vida knew she had to cut a pretty pathetic figure. Worse, she wouldn’t even clear a couple of feet before Ash was on her again, rushing in and dropping down onto Vida’s back with a hip drop that knocked her right back to the canvas!

“AAAAAUGH!” Vida cried out, falling and hitting the mat hard, chest-first! Vida kicked the canvas in pain. Wrapping one arm back to put pressure on her lower back, Vida tried to roll over to protect her hurting spine. Grimacing in pain, shaking her head in protest, Vida tried to catch her breath after getting the wind knocked out of her sails by Ash.

“Aaaugh … nnngh!” Vida grunted, body melting into the canvas. The luchadora knew that she was getting stomped hard right off the bat, and that would never work for her style of wrestling. Vida tried to tell herself to dig deep, get off the mat and stop feeling sorry for herself. Which, in the end, only made her feel worse about herself as she failed to do any of those things, leaving her trapped beneath her opponent!

Not a moment too soon after taking Vida down, Ash was throwing herself right back in her direction - this time, as she hopped off the ground, she drove her behind straight downward to flatten the luchadora against the canvas with a hip drop! As she landed with a thud, the crowd let out a cheer - Ash was no stranger to involving her ass in her moves, and when it got her the attention it did, she saw no reason to change, no matter what her stick-in-the-mud of a partner might've thought. Even now, she was willing to milk the moment a bit, flashing a grin to the crowd as she leaned a little bit forward and slapped her own rear to draw it all the more attention - and, predictably, the cheers only got louder! Never one to turn down the limelight, she laughed. But she also noticed that she had Vida beneath her and at her mercy - and she was willing to capitalize on that, too!

"Going somewhere?" she teased. "Don't think I'm letting you get away with that!" As long as she was on Vida's back, Ashley had her held securely in place, and that gave her the perfect position to launch her offensive from! She leaned back until she was lying atop the luchadora, and there, her legs swung out to entangle her head, her thighs locking around her temples as she went to squeeze Vida's skull in a headscissor!

"Let's see ya get out of THIS one!~"

“Ooowie~” Vida whimpered, struggling on the canvas. Unable to build momentum yet, the luchadora was already taking a beating and trying to figure out a way to get herself moving and out of harm’s way. Vida covered her face though, as Ash taunted her from above. Shaking her head, Vida heard the smack of Ash’s hand on her own ass, embarrassed that her opponent was having some fun and showing off at her expense … but, Vida figured, at least it wasn’t her own ass getting smacked, at the moment!

Vida tried to crawl away, squirming from beneath Ash. However, she wasn’t letting Vida get anywhere, as Ash dropped on top of her! Vida’s arms flailed as she tried and failed to get out of the way, but things only got worse from here. Before she could escape, Vida had Ash’s legs wrapped around her neck!

“AAACK!” Vida gagged as Ash’s toned legs wrapped around her knees! Vida reached out, but was too far from the ropes to get anywhere! Feeling her slender body squished against the mat, Vida grunted and struggled. Face reddening, Vida grimaced miserably as she tried to roll over. Vida planted her hands against the mat, trying to push herself to one side, struggling and writhing beneath her opponent to try and get herself out of this spot!

It was quickly beginning to dawn on Vida that, just maybe, she might have gotten in over her head. Ash had barely given her even a moment to respond, and already the redhead had leveraged her speed and her energy, not only taking Vida down but securing a dominant position as she scrambled on top of her to secure the headscissor! The fans had begun to cheer her even louder at the sight of her dominant streak, and at the sound of their enthusiasm, the grin on her face could only shine brighter. Now, Ashley really knew she was making a comeback - and it only left her all the more determined to give the fans what they wanted!

Still, Vida wasn't going to make that easy! Even as Ashley squeezed as hard as she could, the luchadora was rocking her body from side to side, causing Ash to teeter in turn. She grit her teeth and grumbled under her breath as her balance shifted, threatening to give way a couple of times. And to Ashley, that was especially bad - it meant Vida was threatening to cut her momentum right out from under her! "Nngh...stay still, will ya..? Hey, WHOAH!"

With one final push, Vida managed to roll herself over, causing both girls to slip onto their sides! Ash hissed under her breath as she came down with a thud, tensing up from the impact. But she wasn't going to let this slow her down, either. She still had her legs in position, and as long as she could still launch her attack, she wasn't going to let Vida get far. "I'm not...done yet-!!" she growled in defiance, going to squeeze Vida's head even tighter, while she bent her back further into an arc to apply more force! At the same time, however, the aches and pains were starting to set into Ash's thighs, and they had begun to tremble the more she tried to squeeze the effort out of them. If Vida still wanted to escape, the odds were starting to look up for her!

“AAAAAAAAH~!” Vida screamed as Ash put the pressure on her neck, squeezing the life out of her. The lithe luchadora grit her teeth and tried to push through, relying on her training to help her out of the head scissor, but there was still the hard work of actually pulling it off. Through the first roll, Ash had managed to keep the head scissor locked on, keeping the pressure on Vida. Her face was turning red, and her hair was matted with sweat, but Vida bit her lip and struggled to keep up.

“Nnnnnnnngggahhh …” Vida let out a wild moan as she gathered the strength for her next attempt. Tight biceps flexing, Vida raised her legs and pressed her palms into the mat. With effort, Vida pushed her legs into the air, lifting him high and straight! Her toned ass trembled with the effort, but Vida got herself upright, in a perfect handstand formation! Well, perfect for someone getting their neck clamped down in what felt like a vice, anyway!

“Now!” Vida shouted at herself, as she threw her body backward. This time, the leverage of the handspring and the roll to the outside would pop Vida’s head free, leaving her rolling away from between Ash’s legs. Gasping for air, Vida rolled on her hands and knees, using her arm to wipe sweat from her brow. Getting up, Vida would take a deep breath, then jump into the air, thrusting her legs out. Still feeling weak, Vida hoped she could at least land something of a dropkick onto Ash while she was seated, even if it was going to be far from her best effort.
