Meeting A Fan

Alaina was walking backstage covered in sweat after having just beat Eirina via submission. She was a tough woman and skilled wrestler but the LAW Heavyweight Champion had proven why she was the top heavyweight. Glistening and sweaty the amazon walked through the halls backstage with her title over her shoulder. It was a satisfying win and Alaina was looking forward to sitting down and relaxing while watching the rest of the show from the back.

Ambre had one goal, to become LAW's heavyweight champion. She worked hard to hope for this dream and yet there were several powerful women who wanted this title. The strongest of them was obviously the champion, Alaina, whom Ambre was a fan. She had even been able to see the match that made her champion, an impressive match that had put stars in the eyes of the Frenchwoman. She had just spent the evening watching the match of her favorite champion who had obviously won the match, still showing extraordinary strength, technique and endurance. She then left the stage still as amazed, thinking back to all the shots and takes that Alaina had made in this match and by chance, the fangirl met her idol in the hallways.
The heart of the pearl stopped, she was impressed to see her idol so close to her. Despite Ambre's physique and her extraordinary confidence during her matches, against Alaina she only showed a small voice that could barely be heard.

"Mmm-...Miss Alaina?..."

Alaina heard a voice behind her and turned, seeing a younger woman roughly the same size as well as build of the amazon. "Oh hello there, how are you doing tonight?" Alaina asked looking her over a bit more closely for a second while waiting for her to answer. She looked nervous but she also looked like she was incredibly fit, muscular and well built. She likely could hold her own between the ropes.

"Gonna go out on a limb and guess that the big, buff lady in front of me is a LAW wrestler eh? Are you scheduled for any matches tonight?" Alaina asked trying to strike up a conversation while hoping to loosen up the woman so she felt more comfortable speaking to Alaina.

Ambre was not often impressed by women taller than her, on the contrary she was rather happy to be able to beat them while she was one of the smallest women in the heavyweight division. But faced with her idol, Ambre could only look away and stroke her hair with an embarrassed air.

"M..Mmmmh... I'm a wrestler yes but I didn't come for my match, I came to... To see your match, Miss Alaina!..."

Ambre then looked at her idol with stars in her eyes, this little conversation slowly began to put her in confidence, maybe even a little too much.

"You are an exceptional woman! You are so strong, so technical and so enduring... I envy you! Finally, I am strong too but I am clearly not up to the task in the other points...... WAIT I'M NOT SAYING I'M AS STRONG AS YOU!!"

Ambre was starting to panic slightly following her words, she was afraid to start a confrontation with her idol and quickly apologized, slightly lowering her gaze.

"I... I'm a fan of yours... I loved all of your matches... And congratulations on becoming the heavyweight champion, you deserve it..."

Alaina smiled and nodded. She could tell that this woman was nervous and excited. "Its okay, I get what you are saying." Alaina said. She felt this way when she first met big name wrestlers when she was new to wrestling as well. "So, what is your name?" Alaina asked as she was looking forward to finding out more about this woman.

After she let her speak more Alaina would try to keep the ball rolling. "So what got you into wrestling and where have you wrestled so far?"

Ambre finally resumed her breathing and her calm while listening to Alaina took on a reassuring tone. She sighed one last time to release all her stress and looked the champion in the eyes again before introducing herself.

"Ambre! Ambre Brault! Also called the Black Pearl!..."

She felt confident again, not as much as the first time but enough to regain her normal self. She looked the amazon straight in the eye with a small smile thinking about why she was there and her purpose.

"Well... I've been a fan of muscular women since I was little and I wanted to become one... By chance I found myself doing wrestling and I liked it... I was able to beat a lot of strong women here but my goal remains the same, to become the next heavyweight champion!"

She looked at the woman in front of her with stars in her eyes and a sincere smile until she realized what she had just said, it could be seen as a provocation which was not not the goal of the French. Her face twitched and her hands fluttered around in panic.

"I'm not challenging you to a duel Miss Alaina! I'm clearly not at your level...!"

She lowered her eyes slightly and gently clenched her fist, feeling a bit weak for saying such a sentence when she was a wrestler in the same division and league as her.

"I'm not ready yet...! One day I will be!..."

Alaina smiled and nodded giving Ambre a pat on the back. "It is nice to meet you, and soon I bet we'll have a match with the black pearl and amazon squaring off against one another before you know it." Alaina said. "It is good to see a powerful young lady and fellow heavyweight around here so who knows where and when we'll cross paths between the ropes?" Alaina said with a smile. She was genuinely curious about what Ambre could do in the ring, and she was going to keep an eye out for her next couple matches so she could check them out.

Wow. Alaina was impressive but not only for her physique or her career, she was incredibly respectable and her sincere words were also touching for Ambre who looked the champion in the eyes again with the look of a true competitor and a friendly smile.

"I will do my best! I will face you with everything I have and I hope it will be a title match!"

She caught her breath and still confident, she pointed at the champion looking at her defiantly, she would surely regret her next words but she had always dreamed of saying them one day.

"So wait for me! Keep on being the champion because I want to be the one to defeat you!"

Alaina chuckled a bit and stood with her hands on her hips. "You can try, a lot of women have stepped up to try to take me on for the title and I'm still champion. I won't be going anywhere anytime soon." Alaina said with a smile. "When you think you are ready for a match you can reach out and I'll be there in the ring." The champion was happy to see some new blood in the division and she was curious to see firsthand what Ambre could do inside the ring.

Alaina was truly a woman worthy of being the champion, you could clearly feel it when you were watching her matches but Amber could feel it even more now that she was standing in front of her. It was the first time that Amber could feel the pressure of the champion being a potential challenger for the title, this feeling could be scary but Amber smiled confidently, feeling more excited than anything at the words of the champion.

"Be sure of that! I won't miss this opportunity !"

Despite the confidence and excitement that settled in the heart and eyes of the French, reality was coming back to her little by little. The pressure seemed so strong that she laughs softly embarrassedly while stroking her hair.

"Well... I won't take more of your time.. Oh wait!"

Amber shoved her hands in her pockets and took a sheet and a pen out of her pockets, handing them to Alaina with a slightly embarrassed air. Even if the two women promised to meet in the ring and Ambre openly told her that she was looking to become the next champion, the Frenchwoman was still a big fan of the Amazon.

"Can I have an autograph... Please..."
