LAW Elimination Chamber 2023

Raquel was down as her legs were grabbed and she was rolled over before being folded up! She let out a yelp and shook her head as she was suddenly in a lot of pain stuck in the Boston crab! Raquel planted her hands to the mat and kept shaking her head as her hair flew all over. She grit her teeth and tried to use her strength to try to straighten her legs and flip Cat over for a hard landing on her back! Raquel had to fight back and show that she was more than an opening rag doll for Cat in the match.

If she was to make it far in this match Cat knew she would have to play smart, conserve some energy for later, otherwise she'd very well be screwed when others entered the fray. As such she ventured into territory she rarely explored in the form of submissions. Pulling her foe's legs up and under her arms with a boston crab!

Unfortunately though Cat's lack of experience with submission was starting to shine through with Raquel managing to gradually turn over before pulling Cat off her feet and flipping her! "Ngh!" Cat grunted as she hit the mat and rolled away with a groan, trying to get some distance between herself and Raquel for the time being.

Raquel managed to escape and scrambled up to her feet. It was time for her to show Cat that she wasn't slow by any means. Raquel gave chase and as Cat would rise Raquel would be already running over to her and leaping up trying to aim a running dropkick right at her upper chest or face! Raquel just wanted a good, high impact connection wherever the dropkick landed looking to get herself back into the fight!

Falling onto the mat with a slight groan from the impact Catalina would roll away and to the ropes, using them to aid in getting up to her feet with a slight wince. Unfortunately so occupied with getting up Cat didn't even notice her opponent had taken to a run, dashing at her and leaping up, driving into her with a dropkick! "Agh!" Cat yelled out in pain, taking the impact full on and getting sent over the rope and down onto the space beyond the ring with a groan of pain, holding her chest with a groan of pain, breathless from the impact.

Raquel managed to really knock Cat down, not expecting her to fall to the outside! Raquel had an idea and smiled. She wanted to show off a bit and hoped that this didn't bite her.....but she was going to try anyway! Raquel ran at the ropes and jumped over them trying to grab onto the cage on the outside! She pumped her fist once and then let go angling to crash down on Cat with an elbow drop from there! This was either going to hammer her opponent or lead to a catastrophic miscalculation on her part....

Taking the dropkick dead on and getting knocked over the ropes as a result Cat would groan in pain, holding her chest with a wince as she tried to roll over onto her hands in a effort to push herself up. However in doing so she had left herself blind to what Raquel was doing, as well as the fact that she was now coming down hot, spiking her elbow into her back with a elbow drop off the cage! "AGHHH!" She cried out in pain as she was driven right back into the floor, reaching for her back which now burned in pain.

Raquel's gamble worked! She crashed down hard on Cat and smiled, grabbing hold of her and lifting her up. She took her by the hair and smashed her head off the apron a few times before rolling her back into the ring. Raquel slid into the ring underneath the bottom rope and then went for a pin looking to see fi she could score a quick elimination! She covered Cat and the official slid in to place as Raquel held her breath...

"ONE!"

As the pinfall was taking place, suddenly a foreboding music played as the pods began flashing one after another like a roulette. Everyone waited in anticipation to see which one would end up being opened up as the countdown began, the audience chanting along with it.

"FIVE!"

"FOUR!"

"THREE!"

"TWO!"

"ONE!"

A giant buzzer sounded as one pod was hit with a spotlight and opened with a dramatic flair. Out of the tinted pod stepped The Wrestling Professor, Doctor Fabulous.

A surprise to the LAW crowd, who never expected The Good Doctor of all people to be competing in a match like this that had potential to get more hardcore than she was willing to compete in. And honestly, it seemed like a bit of a surprise to Doctor Fabulous herself as she took a moment to survey the vicious structure that she was currently in. Sucking in a deep breath, Doc Fab shrugged her shoulders with a smile, taking in the cheers she was receiving. Certainly, in her profession, she was more used to being used to a more... sterilized environment given her day job, and especially since she clearly had much more of an interest in technical wrestling than barbaric brawling and hardcore bouts.

But she also knew well enough that when LAW came knocking on your door with an opportunity, you were best to make the most of it. And now, she was in what may be one of the most dangerous LAW matches ever. But after having such a hot match in the Apex Finals against Vera Sapphire, Doctor Fabulous thought that she could stand to make the most of the momentum she had now. She, admittedly, hoped she wouldn't be the first one out in the pod after it was clear she wasn't going to be starting the match. Mostly for any fleeting nerves, but also from a strategic point. She had that outlined already, but this was just about to make things more difficult for her.

And as she took a moment to survey the match, with the pinfall on Catalina being just completed from Raquel, Doc Fab made a quick plan of attack in her mind. "Well... Time to be Fabulous," she said under her breath. She would then duck under the ropes, only to make her way to the other end of the ring where Cat and Raquel were, ducking under those ropes herself. She would then immediately grab hold of Raquel with a front facelock, attempting to drag her towards one of the pods and corners. Then without waiting a beat, she would attempt to kick off the turnbuckle, then the pod in a modified Corner Tornado DDT, looking to plant Raquel's skull into the grated outside with her PHDDT! A no doubt skull crushing maneuver with the added damage of the outside. While she was fresh, Doc Fab knew she needed to make the most of her attack while she tried to catch both of her current opponents off-guard!

Raquel was so focused on Cat that she was caught off guard by the new entrant! She was grabbed and brought to the corner in a hurry. Before she could react Raquel was rocketing back towards the mat head-first and crashing down hard! "ARRRGGHHH!" Raquel howled as she laid on the mat cradling her head in her arms as she meekling kicked the canvas in pain. She was down and out, having been smashed by the surprise attack left on the mat laid out. This was not looking good....

Doc Fabulous had managed to send Raquel down in a devastating PHDDT, ensuring that one member of this match would be incapacitated for right now. That was something that the Wrestling Professor desperately needed to ensure she wasn't going to be blindsided. Sitting back up, Doc Fab took a deep breath before moving to approach her opponent. It was going smoothly so far. She just needed to do some damage to Catalina now. Try to get a quick elimination while she was fresh. Keep herself from getting damaged by this insanely dangerous structure while she could.

The Good Doctor would grab hold of Cat next, ripping her up to her feet by her head--a target for her. Keeping Cat doubled over, she would then send a few elbow strikes down on the back of her neck. Then, she would transition over to hook her up, grabbing both of Cat's arms. And then, in a sudden motion, she would attempt to swing around and drop Cat onto the back of her neck, aiming for the Bitter Pill Snap Swinging Neckbreaker! She wanted to see how much damage she could put on that neck in this quick amount of time!
