Corey Sniper vs. HEAT Mihoko - Apex Qualifier Match

Having brought the match back into the ring, Corey placed Mihoko on her shoulders, putting her in the torture rack. Stretching and wrenching her opponent's body over her shoulders, Corey made sure to give her body rough jerks even as Mihoko struggled to get off of her shoulders. Still, it was hard to maintain the hold for long, so Corey decided to put her opponent down.

Of course, that didn't mean she had to put Mihoko down gently. After a while, Corey would fall backwards, sending Mihoko down onto the mat. She would release HEAT's body upon impact, and she was certain that the impact would inflict a significant damage on her opponent.

HEAT's back was in serious pain as she howled out loud, wanting her foe to let her down. She had tried her damnedest to ensure that, thrashing and bucking her body and trying to dislodge herself from Corey! The spitfire that was Mihoko had managed to mostly succeed in that--she was good at brute forcing her way out of situations by pure grit alone. Her descent wouldn't be a kind one though. Corey was determined to get as much harm to HEAT as possible--a fair strategy. And she would fall back, holding onto Mihoko!

The Hot-Blooded Fighter smashed into the mat without a way to brace her fall and yelled out loud. In pain, Mihoko would break away by rolling from Sniper, whining out as she held her throbbing back. She would eventually end up on her front, arm trying to soothe her back as she continued to protest the pain she was in. A lot would be harder now for HEAT after that painful submission and drop damaged her spine. She would be damned if she let that stop her though--a sort of vow she made to herself against Corey Sniper, even though Mihoko was currently the one in serious pain now.

Falling backwards and sending Mihoko down to the mat, Corey quickly sat up and looked at Mihoko. Seeing that she was in great pain after taking the move, Corey smiled as she would push herself up, planning to continue with her momentum. "Alright, up you go..." Corey said as she would pull Mihoko up, holding her by her shoulder and head, forcing her to get back up to her feet.

Once the two of them were on their feet, Corey would hold onto Mihoko's wrist before she attempted to send her running towards the ropes with an Irish whip. She was planning to have her opponent rebound from the ropes and return back to her. Waiting for Mihoko to get closer, Corey would then leap up and attempt to hit her opponent with a flying forearm smash to the face!

HEAT's spine was aching as she was just looking to get herself some kind of respite. With a strained groan, she felt herself being grabbed by Corey yet again. The Hot-Blooded Fighter didn't want to get up yet, but Sniper already had another move in mind, which was dangerous for Mihoko. Stifling another grunt of pain, she was on her feet, and sent running to the ropes. Her back hurt--and it hurt quite a bit. But Corey had made a mistake by forcing HEAT to gain momentum and speed.

That got her blood pumping again, and she cringed but was able to push back that pain in her back now. She bounced off the ropes and then came running back to Corey--and HEAT Mihoko began moving far quicker than Sniper would expect, pushing forth while she was already in motion! Her blistering pace allowed her to mess up Corey's timing and duck down, avoiding the flying forearm and dropping down to a knee. It sent a jolt of pain up her spine, but Mihoko wouldn't be deterred!

She swiveled around, pushing up to her feet before leaping up high into the air and trying to wrap her legs around Corey's skull, aiming to send her swinging back in a Poisonrana she called the Hot Flash! A speedy maneuver meant to spike her opponent's head right into the mat! It was a move that certainly didn't help her aching back, and one that HEAT would probably regret when she was done, but if she managed to nail it, she might be able to stop Corey Sniper's relentless assault enough for her to start a comeback!

Corey was aiming to hit Mihoko with her flying forearm smash after having her rebound from the ropes, but then, Mihoko managed to pick up her speed and messed up with the timing. Corey missed her attack, and she quickly tried to salvage the situation by straightening up, but it seemed that Mihoko had one thing planned for her as she suddenly jumped up and got her legs around her head before she brought Corey down to the mat with a poisonrana!

"UAARGHHH!!!"

Corey's head was spiked down to the mat, and her momentum was abruptly stopped. She slumped against the canvas, groaning in pain. She had a look of disbelief on her face as she was laid out on the mat, and now, HEAT would be able to turn things around get her comeback.

HEAT leaped into the air and was able to bring Corey back down onto her head with the Hot Flash, with Sniper's body flopping over onto the mat behind her. Mihoko, meanwhile, didn't get the chance to appreciate her rather effective move, as her spine was burning. She worried she may had pulled something doing that move, but it was a risk she needed to take to stop Corey.

She let out a groan and whimper as she laid on the mat. HEAT needed to get moving though. She needed to move. She needed to take advantage of this. Mihoko pushed herself off the mat, letting out a soft cry as a sharp pain jolted through her. Shaking her head, she would stumble to her feet and head over to Corey, grabbing her by the head and trying to drag her to her feet. "Come on...!" said the Hot-Blooded Fighter through gritted teeth.

Then she would force Sniper upright and prepared herself. Blowing out a breath of air, HEAT Mihoko would then run past her opponent to the ropes, rebounding off of them once more. Using that momentum, she would then attempt to go for a headscissors, but then swiftly transition it into a DDT, trying to plant Corey's head into the mat yet again with some unique offense!

Corey winced as she was pulled back up by Mihoko, who then ran towards the ropes and rebounded from them. When Mihoko closed in to Corey once more, Corey tried to stop her, but then, Mihoko leaped up and went for a headscissor before she quickly transitioned the move into a DDT, bringing Corey head first into the mat again with it.

"AAGHHHH!!"

With her head hitting the mat again, Corey slumped against the canvas, clutching her throbbing head. It seemed that Mihoko had gained an upper hand over her once more, and for the time being, the former Wrestle Angel was in great pain, unable to defend herself against whatever her opponent might try next.

HEAT Mihoko had managed to go behind and go for that headscissors takedown before abruptly transitioning into a DDT that absolutely planted Corey's head into the mat! Arching her back in pain, the Hot-Blooded Fighter kicked a leg, gritting her teeth. Her spine was still aching, and that move didn't help it at all. But Mihoko couldn't stop now. She could get the win. She could have finally stunned Sniper for long enough.

She turned over onto her front with effort, taking a deep breath to steel herself. Then, HEAT would swiftly start crawling over to Corey, covering her and then grabbing the leg, hooking it up! Mihoko went for the pin, hoping that she could keep Corey Sniper down and get the win!

"ONE!"

Corey's head throbbed painfully after being brought down to the mat with the DDT by Mihoko. Groaning, she could feel that her opponent had moved herself on top of her, going for a pinfall attempt. Her leg was grabbed, and she could feel her opponent's weight on top of her. Then, the counts began.

"TWO!"

Realizing what was happening, Corey would try to muster her strength to kick out. The referee was about to reach the third and final count as Corey kicked out her legs, breaking the pin at the last possible moment.

"THR-!"

The referee stopped counting, making a signal that the match would still continue. It was a near fall, and the crowd went crazy over this. Groaning, Corey would try to shove Mihoko away from her so that she could recover.

Mihoko kept the pin locked in, waiting for the three count, but Corey Sniper had kicked out before she could get her win! HEAT let out a yell of frustration as she was on her knees, fuming as she looked down at Sniper. "You... stupid...!" The words were lost on the Hot-Blooded Fighter. She was so hoping this would get her a win, but Corey managed to kick out and forced Mihoko to have to continue.

The shove was a step too far though as she growled out loud, cheeks puffed out as she scrambled back towards Sniper! She wasn't thinking with her mind now--she just wanted to unload some frustration on Corey. Despite being exhausted herself, and this clearly not being the best move right now, HEAT began to throw hammer fists down towards Corey, wanting to smack and bash her anywhere she could.

Sloppy, furious fists thrown down for Corey, trying to batter every part of her body in sheer annoyance--she was incensed, filled with a raw desire to beat up Corey now, and HEAT didn't want to let up until her better judgment pulled through!
