Primal Meets Aerial (For Bare)

Kennedy started chowing down on peppers slowly, but surely and tied it up with Aella even though she went past her own limit of five. Though, to be fair, her other contenders didn’t give much of a challenge so she was basically snacking on peppers during those defenses. The heat rose in her cheeks as she was balling up her fists and had to cough a little bit. It wasn’t going to be a lost for her and she wasn’t going to lose the mantle she held for months ever since she first got to Japan. Aella just got here and Kennedy’s pride wouldn’t let her be upstaged as she ate another pepper fighting through the burning sensation in her throat.

Going off the expression on Kennedy's face Aella could tell the woman was worried which was good for her. Especially since the spiciness was starting to ramp up for her with each pepper she casually consumed. It was rather clear with the consistent sips of water she took with each bite, something small to at least somewhat mitigate things but it was still there. "Oof, give up yet hon?" Aella asked playfully as she finished pepper number seven.

Kennedy drank some water and just flipped off Aella as her throat was starting to kill her. Kennedy led 8-7 as she was not keen on giving in too early, but at the same time, her throat was burning up and she coughed yet again as she pondered in her mind on her options. Kennedy was too prideful to give in and she wasn’t going down without a proper fight. Kennedy just mouthed “Bring it on, you healing bitch,” but kept herself silent so she didn’t use her vocals too much.

Aella chuckled softly as she saw Kennedy flipped her off and merely took another sip of water before munching another chilli pepper, tying things up with Kennedy 8 to 8 before sticking her tongue out at her. "Aw you seem so grumpy Kennedy." Aella cooed out, knowing very well Kennedy couldn't respond right now, though she'd be lying if she said her own throat wasn't burning a bit, her voice coming out a bit raspier as a result, but it didn't stop her from grabbing a ninth chilli and popping it into her mouth.

Kennedy just grabbed two peppers and forced them down which didn’t seem like the best plan as she coughed out in a hoarse manner. She wasn’t giving up by a long shot, but it wouldn’t be too much longer to hold out. Kennedy Lee lead 10-9, but if she couldn’t muster enough strength to keep going, keeping the score hardly mattered and Aella would usurp her throne plus get her smug moment getting a kiss on the bum from Kennedy. The pride oozed through Kennedy and she wasn’t going to be anyone’s fool. She just glared with a smirk and held one eye closed hoping to get Aella to submit. However, one or two more peppers could make her grab the water and wave off the contest.

Watching like a predator would its prey Aella could tell that Kennedy seemed to be down to her last legs after eating a tenth chili pepper. Taking another sip of water she would smile as she raised her own tenth pepper up and... promptly popped it and ate it whole. Swallowing she gave a sharp look to Kennedy as she reached for another one, one that would break her record if the blonde couldn't match her... Only to change directions at the last moment and instead grabbed the glass of water and took a long, suspenseful gulp before placing it back down. "I'm done." Aella said casually, tapping her hand lightly against the table to signify her quitting before crossing her arms and leaning her chin on the palm of her hand to watch for what Kennedy's next move would be.

Kennedy raised an eyebrow as Aella subtly surrendered and called it quits. She had seemingly no reaction to being affected by the peppers aside from the obvious rising heat in her throat and could’ve clearly beat Kennedy here and now. Was she just testing Kennedy with a false sense of security? Could Kennedy really eat one last pepper and then call it quits to retain her title? Kennedy grabbed her eleventh pepper and started chewing on it, but could only get halfway through the pepper. She closed her eyes deep in thought.

“10 1/2. It doesn’t really count since the rules call for peppers to be eaten whole, but I can still say I ate more than you and I broke my own record. I’ll let us tie technically,” Kennedy explained as she sipped her own glass of water and coughed to wave off the heat in her throat.

“I don’t believe it! This is the first time a tie has happened! Does that make you both the champion?” Hugo asked in a slight confusion.

“Sure, whatever. I’m still on top so there’s some room for her,” Kennedy replied with the nonchalant shrug of her shoulders.

Hugo then raised both the arms of Aella and Kennedy as the staff hollered and clapped for them as Kennedy waited for them to be gone as she smirked at Aella.

“I understand your game. You never really wanted to take my title. You just wanted to watch me squirm, you sadistic bitch. But I was right in knowing you still have some bad girl left in you!” Kennedy stated. For real, though, you’ve earned my respect and you are now my best friend for life!”

Finishing a tenth pepper before calling it quits Aella leaned on her hand and watched Kennedy to see what she'd do. Would she somehow down an eleventh to retain her title? or would she tap out as well? Seemingly at first it was the first option as Kennedy took another bite of one... But she didn't hold it down well and tapped out soon after as well "Oh you'll let us tie huh?" Aella asked playfully as she sat up and gave a nod regardless.

"But yes a tie sounds just fine." She said with a nod towards Hugo before turning back towards Kennedy, that playful and confident smirk still playing on her face. After having their arms raised up Aella would smile out at everyone before turning her attention back definitively on Kennedy as she spoke, the woman seeming to figure out what her game was and quite liking it making Aella smile a bit wider as she took another sip of water.

"Hehe guilty as charged. Really I just wanted to see how many chili peppers you could manage, but I always intended to tap when you did, but if it got me a new best friend out of it, than I won't complain." Aella said as her margarita arrived finally, to which she picked it up and held it in the air in front of Kennedy. "To new friends." Aella said offering a toast to the blonde.

“To best friends,” Kennedy corrected as she clinked glasses with Aella and they both started to drink and chow down on their orders.

Normally, Kennedy probably would’ve hooked up with Aella and possibly call this a date, but just having her as a friend and another older female to hang around with made her feel young again. She never really got these moments with her enormous sex drive and always being on the road whether it was training in Mexico or traveling in the States. Aella was a lot of fun to hang around with and Kennedy saw some of herself in her new friend. They were both competitive, they both could hold their own with spicy food, they were both flirtatious, and Kennedy was sure they were probably similar when it came to the ring and wrestling as a whole. If she found a sister in Aella, that’s all for the better.

“….One last thing to cheer to. Being tag team partners….if you want. I know I’m kinda with Cyber Legacy now, but that’s kinda been forced upon me since I lost a gauntlet match to them. It’d be good to have someone good on my side should I truly need it and Alizeh was a dear enough to introduce us. Though, I know you aren’t on the best terms with Cyber Legacy either and I don’t want Thereisa up my ass if she finds out we are teaming. Think you could dust off that La Pantera mask?” Kennedy offered.

"To best friends." Aella said correcting herself with a nod as she toasted Kennedy before taking a drink, humming softly as she thought about things. No wonder Alizeh had connected them, they were remarkably similar, different too, after all, Aella was a bit more... composed and disciplined than Kennedy, who came off as more brash and aggressive, but if anything that seemed to help them get along since they balanced eachother out and it made the similarities between them all the nicer to recognize.

However looking up at Kennedy as she spoke Aella would hum softly, her eyes naturally taking a more harder expression as Cyber Legacy was brought up, her beef with the trio being well known for all intents and purposes, and while she wasn't thrilled about Kennedy being affiliated she at least was thankful about Kennedy recognizing that she was with them more as a obligation.

At the offer though.. "I could be convinced." She said with a nod before continuing. "But my mask doesn't cover my hair very well and its fairly known that I was La Pantera in the past, so they may still figure it out regardless, if you're willing to take the chance though I'd be happy to team with you." Aella said, smiling at the end with a nod of respect towards Kennedy.
