Genevieve’s training: Lesson 2 - Submission moves

Genevieve would be running late as she overslept a bit. Last night she was exploring the area and night life. Her training slipped her mind and when she remembered, she rushed to the gym 30 minutes late when Lexi was expecting her to arrive. Once she made it to the gym, she would see Lexi, in full gear, staring very disappointingly at her.

"Je suis vraiment désolé d'être en retard. J'explorais l'endroit car je n'avais jamais pu voir à quoi ressemblait la zone LAW et…” (“I’m so sorry I’m late. I was exploring the place since I never got to see what the LAW area looked like and…”) She could sense that Lexi doesn’t care what she was saying as she shut up and went to the locker room to change out into her wrestling gear.

Lexi was just chilling in the gym sitting in a steel chair she found while Genevieve was running thirty minutes later as Lexi finally saw the girl arrive. "C'est bien, habille-toi et prépare-toi" ("It's fine just get dressed and ready") Lexi said not really caring that she was late.
After a few minutes she saw Genevieve come back out of the locker room. "So how is your english getting?" Lexi asked wanting to see what else Genevieve was improving on.

Genevieve would get into the ring and looked at Lexi. “It’s… veywe… bad” When Genevieve spoke English, she had a very heavy French accent as she struggled to get the words out. “Hawd r than spee king Franch.” She smiled crookedly for her butchery of the English language.

Lexi smirked a bit deciding she would give her instructions in English today give Genevieve a chance to practice two things at once. "Well it sounds alright, well better than whatever some of the Australians around here speak Lexi joked. "I'm going to say everything in English today to give you some practice at it" Lexi added. "So what did you want to learn today?" Lexi asked as the two walked towards a punching bag.

Genevieve continued to struggle to speak English. “Submissions. I wood like two learn a bowt submissions.” Regular wrestling terms in English would be pretty easy to understand since she heard it a lot looking at past matches of Lexi. She was also surprised by the moves Lexi did in the ring. “Please teach me how two dew submissions.”

Lexi smiled and nodded hearing Genevieve's request. "Alright we can do that" Lexi said. "But first lets see your kicks as a warm up" Lexi added giving the punching bag she was standing next to a hard pat.

Genevieve nodded as she walked up to the punching bag. She then worked on some kicks, sending roundhouse kicks to the bag. She was pretty powerful too with her legs as the bag swayed pretty far from its chain whenever she kicked it

Lexi was impressed by Genevieve's kicks. "Hey your kicks are extremely good, make sure you use them in your matches" Lexi commented and complimented her student while she watched the beg swing.

Genevieve nodded as she continued to kick the punching bag. Unbeknownst to the both of them, a new wrestler would enter the gym and while Lexi was more focused on watching Genevieve’s form, the mystery fighter would be watching Lexi.

"Alright that's enough kicks for now we can move onto submissions" Lexi said walking to the practice ring and entering it. "So any submission in particular you want to learn?" Lexi asked.
