Re: The Battle of the Disrespected: Amber Skye vs Vanessa I. Price (Apex)
Vanessa was booting the daylights out of Amber's head, determined to force her tap out by force at this point, furious it's taken that long. Letting out a frustrated yell, VIP didn't let up, desperate for her opponent to give her the win at this point.
But then she suddenly noticed herself being tugged on. Her body was beginning to be pulled off the ground as she shook her head in disbelief. Price then screamed, "NO! NO!" The fashionista resumed a full on triangle choke at this point as she was lifted, hoping to put Skye out.
And then she saw stars. Her head crashed into the mat in an incredibly sloppy piledriver. Spiked on the mat, Price's body twitched as she bounced up after impact, gasping in the shock of it. She was still for a few moments. VIP felt absolutely finished, but so did Amber. The girl didn't follow up at her as she laid on her side in complete anguish.
"No..." muttered Vanessa, looking positively distraught now, incapable of feeling anything else. With abrupt motions, she rolled her body towards the ropes. One motion, and two. And then she made wild motions with her hand.
She had reached the point of desperation. A level reserved for when it was bad--worse than she could have imagined. Vanessa I. Price never expected to reach this point, especially against Amber Skye of all opponent's. She almost seemed like she was reaching to the outside, just grasping for something that may well save this match up for her yet.

Re: The Battle of the Disrespected: Amber Skye vs Vanessa I. Price (Apex)
Chelsea was almost pulling her hair out by now. The match started off perfect, Vanessa was kicking ass and taking names and even the brief scare by Amber didn't stop her. Admittedly Amber did scare her into not helping when Vanessa called for her at first, but she felt that Chelsea's warning to her about what Amber was doing on the ropes made up for it. Soon after that she'd gotten Amber to cry and Chelsea already expected her girl would get Amber to give up or something. And then Amber got pissed again somehow, and then started to hurt VIP...a lot. Chelsea watched her get pummeled so much it looked like she was trying to leave the ring, she wanted to help but feared getting ejected, she couldn't leave her trapped with both of these cheerleaders, they'd jump her! Now after all that it went back and forth and VIP had used two of her finishers and Amber survived them both. All of this happened so fast for Chelsea who had to think about what to do to save her boss. Thankfully even after getting dropped on her head, Vanessa was still able to signal to her that she needed assistance. Thankfully Chelsea came prepared and grabbed something she kept in her pocket for this occasion.
"Oh crap I think Vanessa's hurt." Chelsea said only half serious and she rushed in to check on her while staying on the outside, reaching her hand to push the hair out of her face so she could look at her. What would look like a comforting scene of Chelsea coming to see if Vanessa was okay was actually Chelsea pulling out a lead pipe and leaning in to give her a kiss on the cheek while she gave the pipe to her. "Knock her ass out." Chelsea whispered after the kiss and pulled away pretending to be thankful that Vanessa was alright. Then she would start to walk to the other side of the ring....
"Amber? Amber are you okay?" Cheryl asked her hurt friend, this match was taking away years of her life. She wished it was a tag match because she'd love to see Vanessa try half of that when she could get her hands on her! The concerning part is that Amber's so confident most of the time that seeing her get humiliated like that was too much, that never happened to her before and it happening at Apex was too much. Cheryl didn't get any satisfaction for Amber getting control either, she understood why she was mad but getting angry never fixed anything. Plus at some points she looked like she was going to kill her...Cheryl didn't want to think about Amber ever getting that made again. Now she was watching Amber drop VIP on her head, but she was laid out as well, blood still gushing from her face and Cheryl wanting to get a towel for it, but not wanting to leave for a second. "I know it hurts but you're almost there, she looks lost if you can just get up you can still win this!" Cheryl encouraged her friend looking over at Vanessa who was still by the ropes and then looking over at Chelsea who suddenly didn't seem like she wanted to check up on her anymore. She watched Chelsea until the redhead leaped on the ropes and pointed at the ref. "You should be ashamed of yourself! Why is it so hard for you idiots to do your job. Vanessa had a clear 3 count earlier and you counted so damn slow most refs could count to 5 before you got to 2!" The ref looked at Chelsea and rolled her eyes before telling her to get off the apron. Chelsea was acting like a brat and Cheryl soon realized that yes, she was acting. "Oh shit! No you don't!" Cheryl said running over to Chelsea and grabbing her legs, pulling them out from under her. "Aaagh! Ref help! The jealous cheerleader's attacking me!" Chelsea screamed, she fell back to the floor and Cheryl dropped on her and started to go through her pockets. "What were you trying to give your boss?! What are you planning?" Cheryl demanded while Chelsea tried to crawl away or get Cheryl off her. "I'm not planning anything you bimbo! Get off me! Aaggh! Ref! Nggh! Get down here and get her off me!" Chelsea screamed as the two struggled on the floor. The ref didn't do what Chelsea asked but right now she was more focused on the action outside the ring, leaving Amber and VIP to themselves.

Re: The Battle of the Disrespected: Amber Skye vs Vanessa I. Price (Apex)
Vanessa was barely with it at the edge of the ring, panting and moaning in pain as she continued to reach out of the ring, barely even there. But then she saw her redheaded savior. Chelsea Loski, her insurance policy. The woman she hired just for this occasion coming to check on her. And that she did, giving her a kiss on her blood dampened cheek as she discreetly slid the lead pipe to her. A weapon that she was slowly making her signature bludgeoning object. She kept it close to her chest, a trembling hand holding onto it as she tried to get her strength back, letting out a soft whimper.
It had gotten to this point now, where VIP had to use this to get ahead. That she needed it in order to put down Amber once and for all. She slowly got up, holding the pipe to her chest as she saw that cheerleader starting to stand as well. She glared spitefully at her. A venomous look as she growled softly. And she heard Chelsea getting the referee's attention. It was time.
Keeping an eye on the referee, Vanessa I. Price would then turn, rushing towards Amber Skye with lead pipe in hand, looking to crack it over her skull! She wouldn't get up from this one, and she didn't care she had to cheat now--it was all part of a strategy at this point, no matter how desperate. She was just ready to knock Amber out once and for all with a single mighty swing!

Re: The Battle of the Disrespected: Amber Skye vs Vanessa I. Price (Apex)
Amber stired at Cheryl’s encouragement. She was right, Amber was close to winning. She knew that Vanessa running out of tricks while Amber still had more to show her. The only thing she had to do was get back up and keep fighting. “On your feet. One more time Amber.” One more time was all she needed. Amber opened her eyes and would look for Vanessa turning to find her by the ropes again. Typical. She was thinking about running again to make Amber chase her. What a bitch. Amber slowly stood up glaring back at Vanessa, then another voice took her by surprise. Chelsea was screaming at the ref about Amber kicking out. Getting in her face to demand she do better. What was better? Count real fast when Amber was being pinned. What almost turned away only to see Cheryl running at her and pulling her off the ropes. Cheryl was attacking her? For what reason would Cheryl do that? She only ever attacked when she was protecting herself or protecting Am-
Oh shit!
Amber turned back to to Vanessa. Stepping back when she saw that Vanessa was running at her with something in her hand! Cheryl thought she was stopping the surprise unaware that it was already set and she was now helping distract the ref! Amber couldn’t let that hit her she moved to avoid the lead pipe and stumbled when she side stepped it. She couldn’t keep dodging right now. She was a mess and she couldn’t block a lead pipe with her bare hands. That meant the only way to stop Vanessa now was to attack. When Vanessa came at her again Amber would go right at. Amber tried to grab Vanessa’s raised arms to stop it and knee Vanessa’s belly. That might stun her and give Amber the chance to grab the pipe and use an arm drag to toss Vanessa back to the mat and get the weapon out of her hands. Once that was done Amber would raise the pipe up herself. “You know you can’t beat me so you try to bash my head in? You were going to use this on me?” Amber looked ready to use it herself. She could! The ref was still looking away and no one would stop her! She could smack Vanessa in the face once and that would be it!

Re: The Battle of the Disrespected: Amber Skye vs Vanessa I. Price (Apex)
Vanessa I. Price almost had it. A contingent in the form of a lead pipe, soaring straight for Amber Skye's skull to put an end to this battle once and for all! So she deftly went for a swing, sending it towards Amber--and then it was caught. VIP went wide-eyed in disbelief, shaking her head. "No! Release... it!" screamed Price as she tried to fight to take the lead pipe back. Perhaps try again. Figure out something else.
The knee went right into her abs, instantly knocking the air out of her as her legs folded underneath herm she gasped, the pipe leaving her hands and into Amber's as she was on her knees before her, whimpering. Price was nearly in shock. This was so close to an end. She was so close to a victory. She took deep, panting breaths, unable to move from this position in front of her.
Closing her eyes tight, Vanessa grasped at the cheerleader's knees. She almost seemed to be grabbing them in desperation, desiring for her to let go. She let out a soft whine, and Vanessa I. Price did the only thing she had left in this position. "Please..." plead the wicked fashionista, head bowed low as she waited for the inevitable. She didn't see another way out though. She prayed that something would happen to rescue her from her inevitable fate.

Re: The Battle of the Disrespected: Amber Skye vs Vanessa I. Price (Apex)
Vanessa’s final trick backfired. The weapon that was considered her salvation was now in Amber’s hands and that meant it was hers to use. How easy it would be for Amber to crush Vanessa with a swing or two of the weapon? It would be effortless! Amber raised the weapon to do it and Vanessa knew her fate was in Amber’s hands when she grabbed her knees trying to hold herself steady and softly pleaded for Amber to not use it. Amber grabbed Vanessa’s head and made it look up at her and see how it was raised. Amber’s arm tensed in preparation to swing leaving everyone to watch Amber make her decision. “You are spiteful cunt who is better than no one! Not me! Not anyone in this arena! You’re so pathetic that despite talking down to me you’ve tried everything and still can’t beat me so you had to get your friend to help you and that still didn’t work! No one who resorts to such lows as this and still calls herself the greatest deserves respect!” Amber dressed down her prey to remind her how she got here and at any point could end it with one swing of the pipe. The difference was Amber had people who believed she didn’t need these tricks and whatever respect she would get by winning this match didn’t feel right. Amber knew she could do it and she knew that everyone here would love it. She heard them cheer louder when she raised the weapon. But Cheryl wouldn’t like it. Her friend wouldn’t call her out or try to embarrass her or anything like that, she just wouldn’t approve. Her friends wouldn’t either. Like the SWAT cats who she hoped to fight one day. They all still had respect for her and if she did this she would lose it to gain a win. Amber dropped the pipe. “I’m not you Vanessa.” Her decision was made. Amber cocked a knee back and hit Vanessa in the face to knock her off and push her to the mat where Amber would get on top of her and started applying her finishing submission Rocket of Saturn! to end this match by making Vanessa have to give up.

Re: The Battle of the Disrespected: Amber Skye vs Vanessa I. Price (Apex)
Vanessa I. Price kept her head hung, waiting for the eventual swing. On her knees, she continued to listen to Amber's dressing down of her. Calling her nobody better. Saying she was pathetic. Saying she was low and didn't deserve to be seen as one of the greats in this company, and that she didn't deserve any respect. And, truly, for a moment, VIP started to believe those things. All of those very true, very deserved words at Price's expense. All while the referee was trying to get Chelsea and Cheryl out of the match.
And Amber Skye would throw that pipe down and declare she wasn't going to use the pipe, because she wasn't her. And in a moment, Vanessa shuddered, all of those words coming to pass about her, with Amber being seen as her superior--someone that she would never stoop to the level of. And Price thought that perhaps she didn't deserve respect, and that she was pathetic, and she didn't deserve to be seen highly by anyone in the company. She believed it, as soon as that knee was being sent towards her face.
...Vanessa believed it, if she managed to lose to the likes of Amber Skye.
And she caught that leg before it collided to her face, and she gave a shove back, throwing a low blow directly to Amber's crotch. Her whole body shuddering as Amber began falling to her knees, and Price sucked in a deep breath, trying to find the strength in her to follow up. And that came in the desire to not be everything Amber said she was, as Amber had proudly proclaimed moments before. She leaned over, grabbing that lead pipe, and then she smashed it directly over Amber's head, trying to knock her lights out once and for all and keep her from coming back. And as Skye fell, Vanessa threw the lead pipe away to the other side of the ring before collapsing on top of Amber.
The referee, who had threatened Chelsea and Cheryl on the outside to break apart from their brawling or risk being ejected finally complied, and she turned over to see Vanessa on top of Amber. The referee looked confused for a moment--this match had certainly been a test of her patience at this point. And then she went down for the count!

Re: The Battle of the Disrespected: Amber Skye vs Vanessa I. Price (Apex)
Amber only had to connect with Vanessa one more time and the nightmare of VIP would end. That knee went right for Vanessa and was pushed back by the fashionista with one last defiant right. Amber could have just hit her with another knee if the space by doing so didn’t open her up to be hit between her legs. Amber shrieked and froze before she fell over and landed right next to Vanessa. Vanessa grabbed the pipe and Amber saw what her plan was quick enough to desperately punch her again before the pipe came down. Because of the pain and desperation Amber’s punched missed. The pipe it it’s target on the top of Amber’s head. Amber’s body fell against Vanessa as if she was trying to hold on but Vanessa could tell that she was damn near lifeless now after that. The evidence of her cheap trick was tossed out and Vanessa could easily push Amber down so she could lay on top of her and start the next count now that the ref had given up trying to stop the fighting on the outside. She only gave the sight a confused glance for a second and it wasn’t long enough to wake Amber up before she started to count. There was no drama to this count. No hope of escape. Amber was still and the rest was settled. 1! 2! 3!

Re: The Battle of the Disrespected: Amber Skye vs Vanessa I. Price (Apex)
Vanessa I. Price kept herself on top of Amber Skye, just hoping and praying everything went as intended. She needed that win, now more than ever. Now that Amber had dressed her down and told her she didn't deserve respect. But that's all VIP wanted: to be seen as the very important person she was. To be that woman standing tall high and above everyone else. To be a proper superior person in a sea of those who weren't worthy of being seen on her level. And all of that, encompassing to sobering her to this single moment where she could take out Amber once and for all with that lead pipe. Keeping her eye on what was most important: the win. The Apex Match win. The chance to win the Openweight Championship.
And as soon as the bell rang, after the three count was counted, Vanessa I. Price got everything she wanted. She got the undeniable acknowledgement that she was a winner and a top tier contender for the Openweight Championship. Through blood and pain and having to exhaust everything at her disposal to get it, VIP had beaten her opponent once and for all. And she rolled off of Amber, a big smile on her face.
Vanessa I. Price made sure she won, because she understood the importance of winning, above anything else.
Letting out a laugh, she sounded almost manic as she began a loud cackle, laying on the mat, blood smeared on her, covered in sweat, her outfit in shambles. And she laughed, in glee. She was the superior woman! Among the Apex of winners in this company! And nobody could take that away from her. Even as the referee was raising her arm up high as she laid there, Price could not stop laughing for even a moment. A deranged moment that nobody could take from her, least of all Amber Skye.
Chelsea Loski, her partner, came into the ring and helped her up, allowing the referee to keep her arm held up high as Vanessa I. Price had a crazed look in her eye, sneering as she leaned into the redhead. And she screamed out loud, "I AM THE WINNER! I AM THE MOST IMPORTANT PERSON IN THIS PLACE! AND NOT A SINGLE PERSON CAN TOUCH ME! I. ALWAYS. WIN! I ALWAYS WIN! I ALWAYS WIN!" And then as the crowd grew louder, sending boos towards Vanessa, she laughed all over again, looking more proud than anyone ever should be after a win like that.
Vanessa I. Price had won the most important match of her career. It didn't matter what the circumstances were, how much Amber Skye had fought, and just how nearly close to a loss she was: she won.
And everyone knew it, no matter how upset it would make them, and no matter what else they may have thought about VIP.

Re: The Battle of the Disrespected: Amber Skye vs Vanessa I. Price (Apex)
"Owowowowowo stooop!" Chelsea screamed, her arm being pulled by Cheryl in an armbar while she struggled. The past few minutes they'd been struggling and grappling on the floor and going back and forth, at the worst time Cheryl was top right now. Cheryl had been trying to find the lead pipe that she gave VIP, unaware it was already in the ring so Chelsea knew she just needed to distract her. But this distraction was about to cost her an arm when the bell finally rang. Cheryl looked up at the sound, hopeful that it was Amber claiming victory. The sound of VIP's music made her heart sink, letting go of Chelsea to look at the ring.
"No, don't tell me..." Cheryl stood up and saw the sight that confirmed her fears. Amber on her back with VIP laying on top of her, somehow she got the pin and Cheryl had no idea what had happened. Chelsea didn't see it either but she had a guess and despite her arm almost getting pulled out of place, she was in good spirits. "Hell Yeah!" Chelsea screamed and jumped in the ring to greet the Very Important Person she called Vanessa I. Price. The way she was laughing she knew the pipe had worked, she was glad to see that and pull VIP to her feet so she could celebrate the right way...gloating to a booing crowd that didn't appreciate her talent. "Let them hear it boss!" Chelsea said looking around for the lead pipe after noticing VIP didn't have it, she could always get another one. "Future champ right here!" Chelsea said escorting VIP out so she could continue to walk out without trouble from that brute Amber. Back in the ring Cheryl rolled over to Amber watching VIP and Chelsea with disdain. She knew they did something she just didn't know what. She was supposed to watch Amber's back and stop any of those tricks...she wanted to cry knowing she failed such a simple task. "Amber...Are you okay?" She asked, trying to wipe the blood off Amber's face and help her get up.
