LAW Apex Match: Korra the Enforcer vs Amy "The Lion" Evans

Quick movements with a lot of power was the only way to get Korra to go anywhere this early, she had to keep her down if she wanted to stop Korra. She knew what she was inviting by risking it all this early, but she wanted to beat the Enforcer quickly to hurt her and her pride. Her lariat knocked the air out of Korra and she was forcing her back to her feet while she was still recovering to suplex her. This time she got no resistance, and soon she hoped to go for that F-5 again and see if she had better luck.

"It was worth a shot." Amy taunted, lining up after having suplexed Korra closer to the corner. She was slowly setting herself up in the other one ready to get Korra the moment she got up again, charging at the Enforcer with a full sprint. Amy was across the ring in seconds and jumped to crash into Korra with an Evans Splash.

Was a worth a shot. This bitch. Korra was trying to return to get feet to kick her ass and she had jokes like she was just another match. She was not! Korra was only able to get back up to her feet after she used the corner to pull her back up. Being forced to show weakness this early was another thing Amy had to pay for. Turning to see Amy running at her at a speed few could match or react too. She was thankful that short list included her, based on how Amy acted she knew she would try to hit everything and that splash was something Korra had taught herself to avoid It was time she showed her how strong she was. Korra’s arm came up and she would grab Amy to stop her before she landed and shocked everyone when she would instead use a uranage on Amy while still in the corner!

Amy's speed had always been praised for her size, it played into her gimmick as a fast and powerful Lion and she knew that she could catch Korra off guard. If she had any problems it might've been predictability, as good as she was she usually started things the same way and when it came to rematches it meant she payed for it early on before she adjusted or powered through it. Korra had seen her in action enough to know what to do next and once she was in the air Amy was caught by Korra with one hand. Amy was stuck in Korra's arms and knew the only place she was going was down, falling back when Korra slammed her down.

"Gaaggh!" Amy coughed, landing flat and bouncing with the mat's motion. She groaned and laid there with her hands going to her back. She wanted to turn over but then she'd give her back to Korra, meaning she had to lay there and try to fight Korra off while on it, right now she had no good options.

Korra dropped Amy and fell back to get herself seated on the middle corner post. Shaking her head to beat the nerves and rolling her shoulder of the arm she caught Amy with. That speed was no joke and her arm had to catch the brunt of that big flying blonde to stop her before she could drop her. Now she had the advantage again. She stood up and looked at the way Amy was tending to her back. She remembered how her back always seemed to be the best way to hurt the big tall blonde. She had something for that. Korra grabbed Amy's head to pull her up enough that she would hook her arms and force her back up to her feet. Keeping the double underhook Korra lifted Amy up high and turned her around so she would fall back down and land on Korra's knee. Right on the spot of her back that seemed to already be tender. "Is that back where one of those old injuries are? The ones you fought through?"

Amy was watching Korra come close and grab her, pulling her up while Amy tried to pull her off and fight back. Eventually her arms were underhooked and that made it easier for Korra to pull her back up to her feet and yank her where she wanted her to go. Despite Amy's struggles Korra was too strong to resist and she was forced in the air and spun around by the underhooks for Korra to go for a backbreaker.

"Aaggh!" Amy screamed. Her spine was bent by the landing and the spiked pain made her jump off Korra's back and roll around tending to her back again. She wasn't sure what was wrong there, but Korra had a target and the sadistic enforcer was going to keep going for it unless Amy could stop her.

"Heh. The Lion sounds like any regular weak human I beat up to get here. You picked a bad day to lose your edge." Korra grabbed Amy's head and arm again to force her back up. She would keep pulling her up, giving her no time to rest or recover until that spine broke or Amy couldn't rise up again. She kneed Amy's face to rub in her position and then would lift her up and place her over her shoulder, Amy's face facing the front. Now she was giving Amy a choice, when she went for the F-5 it was a desperate attempt to end the match. Korra was ready to crush her with the Running powerdrill to let her know that she was ready to end things and if she wanted to continue whatever Korra did to her was on her. She ran forward and pushed her bottom half up while falling forward and slamming her down. Once the deed was done she would go for a pin.

Amy felt herself being pulled up again while she was still on the floor shaking. Korra was going to pull her up again, and Amy couldn't stop her yet. She was forced to Korra's level and then lifted up so that her stomach was on Korra's shoulder and the rest of her was hanging on. Just like Amy, Korra was going for an early finish, it was almost as telling her she lost her edge. Knowing Korra, her edge was just her cruel beatings. She seemed to think true potential was a willingness to torture people. Amy needed to remind her people were tougher than that. She leaned back and fought against Korra when she started to walk forward, stopping any attempt at finishing her off until she was able to land behind her.

"Copycat." Amy said. The moment her feet hit the mat she would push Korra and run forward, forcing her forward until Korra was pushed into the opposite corner. Then, feeling the adrenaline carrying her starting to drain would take a few steps back until she was halfway across the ring and then run at Korra again, going for another Evans splash to Korra in the opposing corner. If it connected her arms would wrap around Korra and then try to lift her up and toss her back with another German suplex!

The minute she started to run she felt something was wrong. Amy started to fight like crazy and her movements allowed Amy to shake herself out before Korra could lift her. "Dammit." Amy slipped behind her, muttered more bullshit and then started to push her. Once again the enforcer had to face opposing might that she couldn't overpower. Maybe if she was facing Amy she could. With Amy behind her she was following her lead until she was pushed into the turnbuckle that tried to flatten her chest again. A loud gasp followed the collision ended with Korra coughing and her arms leaning over the ropes to keep her up. She heard the crowd getting excited when they saw Amy turning things around again. Only Korra knew it would be temporary pushing off the ropes to meet Amy again, before a body slammed her back into that corner just when she was getting ready to fight again. A louder gasp and louder coughing followed, she think she even spat out of the ring now that her body was squeezed again. Those arms wrapped around her to pull her away from the corner where she couldn't hide and then lifted her up for another german. "Tcugh!" The second german was more effective than the first, making Korra turn and hiss in pain.

The short burst of adrenaline did some damage, she heard Korra scream and that felt good in any setting. She stood up to continue her attack...and instantly felt a jolt in her back that stopped her. She took a knee and rubbed her back, her adrenaline running low again. She lost precious time recovering, Korra wasn't moving and Amy couldn't attack her. She tried to ignore the pain and stand up again, this time she got no jolt. Then looked at the ropes and the distance between them and Korra.

"Close enough." Amy said then tried to run to the ropes. She was slightly slower than before but still fast enough to pull it off and jump on the ropes. Continuing her plan to try and go for the finish early Amy would leap off the ropes and come flying at Korra with a Lionsault to drop on Korra, whether she landed on her back or her stomach she knew this was going to hurt.

Korra was rarely as vulnerable as she was now. For a few moments she knew that she was stunned and she couldn't stop anything that came next. The way Amy was now she might take the moment to strike with something big. Thankfully she didn't and Korra eventually had the strength to glance over and see that Amy was taking a knee. How bad was that back? Was this an injury Amy already had or was this really a lucky break from years of fighting Amy had done that had hurt her? Amy was back up again, proving that whatever it was wasn't bad enough to stop her. Sadly it was too late to take advantage, Korra had gone from prey to a rattlesnake waiting to strike. She watched Amy rush towards the ropes and knew what came next, prepared for it by placing her hands down on the mat. The moment she jumped on the ropes Amy was committed. So was Korra, no going back now. She would push up and turn towards Amy when she jumped at her, watching her rotate in mid air and met her by getting high enough to go for a punch. Like her Korr-hammer without the ripcord she would pluck Amy's skull out of the air like a sniper. She wanted to knock her out with one punch and then once it connected and she fell to the mat Korra would grab Amy and quickly lift her up on her own short burst. Lifting Amy up on her shoulder again and going for a Running Powerdrill to plant her back in the mat and silence the crowd who moments ago thought Amy was on a roll. Korra laughed before falling on top of Amy and going for a pin. This time she wouldn't escape. This time it was over!
