Re: Quiet Beast Vs. Silver Bullet : Mary Clairson Vs. Ruby Rose
Mary could tell that Ruby was not all that skilled in submissions, leaving her head wide open to be put in a sleeperhold. Now it was just a matter of time. Mary had to hold in the pain from the Cross Legged Boston Crab and hope that Ruby's endurance was less then her, either she lets go first or she taps out.
"Come on Ruby, just give up. I don't want to hurt you that much." Mary said to her fellow babyface opponent. Maty attempted to tighten the Sleeperhold, hoping Ruby would either give up or pass out.

Re: Quiet Beast Vs. Silver Bullet : Mary Clairson Vs. Ruby Rose
Ruby could hardly believe what was happening. She had Mary dead to rights with this submission hold. Once again her inexperience showing again since Mary could but them in a deadlock. Admittedly one that favored Mary way more than Ruby. If Ruby was any stronger or bigger she could have made Mary tap instantly. Instead her body and inexperience were showing. Ruby leaving the door open for Mary.
Now in the hold Ruby wouldn’t dare let go. Otherwise her hold is released and she’s just stuck in a sleeper. No Ruby would keep the hold, surely she would be able to keep this going way longer before Mary knocks Ruby out. Just a bit longer…a few…more…and Ruby thought as her hold became weaker and weaker until she let go of Mary instantly. Flopping to her side as Mary kept the hold on Ruby.

Re: Quiet Beast Vs. Silver Bullet : Mary Clairson Vs. Ruby Rose
Mary was not going to be put away by Ruby's submission hold. Someone as light and as young as Ruby was completely inexperienced to the way submissions could be countered, and against someone who knows a lot of the ins and outs of various submission holds, Mary could find an opening on the younger redhead. And also the fact that this was one of the rare times Mary was bigger then her opponent made this especially bad for Ruby.
Adjusting her position, Mary eventually got Ruby to let go of her hold, basically having her sleeperhold go unguarded, as she felt Ruby getting weaker by the minute, she was not using her arms to pry Mary's grip like many others attempt to do, nor was she trying to grab the ropes. In a way, Mary felt really bad for Ruby, it almost felt as though the redhead given up, but she did not tap nor the referee called the match. And Mary knew if Ruby gets the chance, she was gonna counter Mary somehow using that agility. Mary needed to put her away, as much as she felt bad for Ruby.
So Mary quickly attempted to wrap her legs around Ruby's midsection, locking in a legscissor, and then falling back. It was time to lock Ruby in the Silencer. Mary had a sad, but determined look on her face, hoping that Ruby would pass out or tap out and she would not have to cause the redhead any more pain.

Re: Quiet Beast Vs. Silver Bullet : Mary Clairson Vs. Ruby Rose
(Damn it! Damn it! Damn it!) Ruby thought to herself as she lost the battle of submissions. Ruby was cursing herself for thinking that this could be something she could do. Was it hubris? Was it incompetence? Ruby didn’t know what to blame, maybe it wasn’t one singular thing after all.
Either way Mary was able lock in a special sort of submission. The situation went from bad to catastrophic. Ruby couldn’t even believe that Mary had something like this up her sleeve. Ruby felt her power draining fast very fast. Not with much skilled in this kind of submission. Ruby was left moving her body frantically, hoping to land any and all blows that she can against Mary. Hoping that anything that lands sticks and was enough to get Ruby out of the hold. The only issue was that this was a double edged sword. Sure Ruby might be able to free herself. But all that meant was she was losing energy faster.
Meaning that blow after blow Ruby’s power would decrease and the speed as well. Up until they would just all stop and Ruby would flop over lifeless in Mary’s vice grip.

Re: Quiet Beast Vs. Silver Bullet : Mary Clairson Vs. Ruby Rose
When Mary locks on her signature Silencer Submission, she is like a Boa that begins wrapping and constricting its feeble prey. For someone as shy and feeble as Mary, the fact she uses such a devastating hold comes as a surprise to many an unsuspecting wrestler.
Ruby learned this the hard way, trying to fight out of Mary’s grip. But the Bluenette would not let go no matter what. It was useless to fight against it. Even if Mary felt bad for Ruby, she knew she needed to put Ruby out to win.
And soon enough Ruby went out cold, and Mary kept the grip tight. “Hey referee, could you please check on Ruby?” Mary nicely ask, as the referee went to check on her opponent.
Mary was going to keep the hold on, until the referee called the match.

Re: Quiet Beast Vs. Silver Bullet : Mary Clairson Vs. Ruby Rose
… Ruby went from cursing herself internally and flailing like a fish. To slowing down rapidly. Despite her appearances Mary was way more dangerous than she lets on. Easily keeping this going could have some some lingering injuries on Ruby. Then her struggles went silent as Ruby was unconscious. Mary had successfully sapped the life out of the Silver Bullet.
Mary was nice enough to ask the referee to check on Ruby. Not that much checking was needed since Ruby’s state was obvious. Signaling for the end of the match, and motioning for Mary to let go of Ruby. The referee would be quick to let Mary have her victory lap. Whilst also calling for medical staff to check on Ruby.

Re: Quiet Beast Vs. Silver Bullet : Mary Clairson Vs. Ruby Rose
Mary heard the bell ring, and immediately let go of the Silencer and her grip on Ruby. It was a very hard-fought match; Mary was panting heavily as she got up to her feet. If her Silencer attempt did not work, she might have been done for due to Ruby’s agility. However, she managed to win, looking down at the out cold Ruby.
The referee raised Mary’s right hand up, as the ring announcer declared her the winner of the match. Mary smiled and waved to the crowd. Thank you all so much. I hope I impressed you all.” Mary said, always thankful for all the support the crowd gives her.
However, there was one last thing Mary wanted to do. She wanted to make sure Ruby first of all, did not hate her, and second of all, she could shake Ruby’s hand for th tough match the redhead gave her.
So, Mary held down her hand, waiting for Ruby to recover so she could offer her a hand in getting up.

Re: Quiet Beast Vs. Silver Bullet : Mary Clairson Vs. Ruby Rose
It didn’t take long for the bells, cheers and lights to wake Ruby up from her Mary induced slumber. Looking around rampantly it didn’t take long for Ruby to figure out that she lost the match. Not by tapping though, but instead dying on the sword and getting choked out. Hardly a good ending, but something she could hang her hat on at least.
Looking up to see Mary holding out her hand, Ruby sighed as she smiled and grabbed her hand. The two would smile, and Ruby would even bring in Mary for a tight embrace. Getting a standing ovation from the crowd. Pulling away, while the two didn’t hate each other Ruby did tell Mary. That was a great match, but don’t think this’ll be the last time we see each other here Ruby said with a genuine kindness and competitive spirit.

Re: Quiet Beast Vs. Silver Bullet : Mary Clairson Vs. Ruby Rose
Mary was surprised to be at the receiving end of a hug, her face turning bright red from the comforting embrace of the redhead known as Ruby Rose. “OH!” She gasped, before hugging Ruby back. It was nice to have a match where her opponent did not hate her for winning.
Soon enough, the hug was over, and Mary disengaged. She bowed to Ruby, thanking her for the match they just had, and then headed out of the ring and towards the back.
Another win in the record book, and another step towards proving herself that she belongs in the ring.
