Navi Florges vs Anna Ivers - Weight Classes Clash!

Despite Navi's pleas with the LAW officials to grant her a match against Katherine Hart, the bookers and the higher ups of the company repeatedly turned said request down, pointing out a particular caveat in her contract...that she never put in.

Sneakily, Melody put in a clause that forbid her from fighting Kat, knowing that the Super Kitty was also signing with the then debuting promotion. This barely changed their already, less than talkative relationship. Navi couldn't trust herself to address the greenette on that without shouting...loudly, in her face over this betrayal, as she personally viewed it. All that changed is the blonde giving her friend scornful looks in her direction the rare times the 2 of them were in their shared apartment at the same time. Whether Melody noticed or not, she didn't know.

Seeing how desperate Navi was to fight Kat, however, one of the bookers suggested a proposition, to fight a different Heavyweight. With the blonde barely finding matches as is before the beginning of March, and the fact that her request to fight Kat was not to be granted "under any circumstance", as Melody specifically put in her contract, the blonde had decided to take said offer.

And, less than 3 days later, here she was, getting ready for her fight against a boxer-turned-wrestler, a heavyweight by the name of Anna Evers, a name she recognized from her time in AFW...but aside from these 2 facts, she didn't know much more about her. It didn't matter much to the blonde, as long as she got to beat someone up, and win...

Shortly after she got dressed came in from the curtain onto the entrance ramp, to a massive chorus of boos. "Time heals all wounds" saying wasn't working in Navi's favour...in fact, it was the opposite, the longer it was after We Are LAW, the bigger the jeers were getting. The Frenchwoman was giving it little concern, instead, putting on a small gun-show to the crowd, to an even bigger wave of disapproval...only for it to amplify even more once the blonde put both hands in her front, putting up both her middle fingers towards the crowd, before she made her way down the ramp, slid into the ring. Eyeing the crowd on more time with a cold gaze, she took her place at a corner, while awaiting her opponent for tonight...

For all the effort Anna had been putting into her matches things had been a bit rough. Each match she walked away with her own share of bruises for the effort. Not that she was complaining all that much, she loved a good fight, but she hated recuperating and went against orders to rest as she was given a match and took it. Not telling Marissa about the incident in question for fear she would be told to rest longer then she wanted too. Still the girl did like she was facing a middleweight, allowing her room to breathe since she wouldnt have to be going all out.

Coming out to her music Anna was all ready for a fight and started to shake hands with some of the fans as she cracked her knuckles. This Navi didnt have a good reputation so she would be doing everyone a favor by showing her she cant just do what she wanted. The question was how tough was this girl that she would walk in her confident against her, a top contender in the heavyweight division.

Navi already was one of the smaller women in the Middleweight division...hell, there were a few lightweights that were and inch or so taller than she was. Despite that, she always brought the fight to the women taller, and sometimes stronger than she was...and she wasn't a slouch in the strength department either. She could lift any and all women in the Middleweight division...and with some effort, some of the Heavyweights as well. So Anna should've been careful when it came to facing of against the French blonde.

Despite her being the de facto underdog in this scenario, the crowd greeted the woman with massive cheers, with them hoping to take down the loudmouthed...and as discovered on We Are LAW, quite violent woman in the upcoming match...

She silently kept her cold gaze on her opponent throughout her entrance, greeting fans outside the ring by shaking hands with a lot of people in the front row before entering the ring...something Navi couldn't help but say: "Suck-up", out loud to the dark-skinned brunette...

She knew she was facing a middleweight but Navi looked even smaller then she thought. Of course maybe that was because she was being compared to her rather then someone closer to her size and on TV. Since the first time she had seen her being the PPV that Anna unfortunately missed out on being apart of, where she showed a mean-streak a mile wide that Anna figured she'd be dealing with as well if not a little bit more then her opponent then. Still she was confident she could handle anything this girl had to offer. Though unlike the fans she wasnt going to be offering this girl her hand, when she figured she was just as likely to bite it off.

Instead she put her hands on her hips when she entered and was on the opposing side of her, attempting to intimidate the girl before the match started by appearing nonchalant about the challenge she could offer her. "Well hopefully your not thinking that scowls gonna make me keel over for you right?"

With the ref finalising things in the ring for the match to start (whether both competitors were ready...and more importantly, whether they were carrying any foreign objects), Anna took would fire back at Navi for her namecalling:

"Nah...a hard boot to your gut would do a better job than words...", she would explain with a smirk and a hand...which she swiftly balled into a fist.

With the pleasantries and checks done, the ref finally did her job and asked for the bell:

DING DING DING!

Deciding to start things slowly, Navi would carefully close the distance between her and her opponent. Hands raised, once the two would come close, Navi planned to engage Anna in a Collar and Elbow tie up!

Well like she was told the girl seemed to have an attitude about her that Anna wasnt going to get used to if it persisted. Though if she was lucky shed be knocking this girl around too much for her to talk much of anything which would save her a few headaches in the process. So instead of talking Back Anna simply went a more disrespectful route and patted her head like a child.

Of course once the match got started her size wouldnt matter to Anna, instead she would be looking to tear her head off, Navi attempted to lock up and Anna would try and quickly push her back, letting her power dictate the early goings of this match.

Anna's only reply to the blonde was to pat Navi on her head.

The thought in Navi's head at the act was simple:

"She's fucking dead..."

With the bell ringing, and the two women locking up, the brunette was getting quite a bit of ground on the French blonde, easily overpowering her, and forcing her into the corner. No amount of digging her heel into the ring canvas, or trying to collect her strength was helping. It was clear which woman was more dominant in the strength department.

But, despite losing this test of strength, Navi was hardly going to allow her opponent to gain ground at her expense.

Instead of continuing to overpower Anna in the lock up, she would instead deliver a hard knee to the woman s gut!

That wasnt likely to make her a new friend but it was a good thing Anna didnt much care for who liked her more then how she looked when it came down to it. Besides not like anything was gonna make someone like her suddenly be her friend. Once the bell sounded off Anna and Navi locked up though predictably the bigger girl was winning that exchange pushing her backwards and showing a clear superiority in regards to who was winning this test.

Anna's smile probably didnt adhere her to Navi either, full of confidence that she was gonna win she slowly edged the girl backwards and tried to control the match from there before Navi brought her knee up and slammed it into her abs. "Ufff!" Anna's smile was gone as she staged in place one hand going to her belly in surprise at the move.

"See what I meant?", Navi would sarcastically say after her out of nowhere attack, drawing ire from the crowd...not that she paid much attention to them.

"But don't worry, Anna...", she would say in a faux sweet voice, patting the doubled over woman on her head...

...before unleashing a hard right hook on her face!

"The match won't last for too long!", she would finish, trying to immediately follow up with a boot to the bigger woman's chest!

That kick hurt but it wasnt about to stop her just yet. Taking a second to adjust she ended up taking the next punch to her face and knocking her to the side as she staggers. With Navi all to happy to keep it up as she moves in and tries to kick her across the chest next. This time though Anna's able to move and stop the kick by bringing her arms up to catch it. Looking at Navi for a second she smirks and throws the foot down as she moves in and throws a punch across her face.

Trying to show the blonde the power of a boxer she would throw a punch aimed at her face again and then lower herself a little before going for an uppercut to the girls chin. "Your probably right. Depends on how well you take some of these hits."
