Doctor Fabulous vs. Mikoto Yakamura

Strobe lights began flashing on the stage as Dr. Feel Good by Rania begins playing and Doctor Fabulous steps out onto the stage with a pair of glasses on and a white doctor's jacket over her attire. She stands in the middle of a spotlight, crossing an arm over her chest as she regards the crowd, giving a wave to them as they cheer her. Starting to make her way down the ramp, she would blow some flirtatious kisses and winks to those cheering for her, letting the crowd take her personality in. With a grin, she got to the ring apron before walking to the one side and jogging the length of it to leap onto the apron, resting an arm on the ropes and leaning over in a seductive pose, smiling at the camera that had gotten close to her. Taking off her glasses, she bit down on the end of them before winking and stepping into the ring.

Eventually, the Doctor would saunter to the center of the ring before making a show of taking off her jacket to reveal her pink and black outfit. She would strike a pose, tipping down her glasses to give the crowd a wink before passing it to the referee and passing her glasses and jacket to her. Then, Doc Fab walked to her corner, hopping in place and doing a few last minute stretches, ready to see her opponent come out to the ring to watch her with a keen eye; she wanted to see what she may be in for in this contest. She was up against Mikoto Yakamura and had anticipated her to be quite a... strong personality. One that intrigued the good Doctor quite a bit. She was interested to see if she could get to the bottom of who this girl was. And, of course, have a good match as well.

After the Doctor had made her spectacular entrance, all of the lights within the arena shut off at once. Throughout the arena, a girl's voice would echo throughout it "Be consumed in Darkness!" the girl's voice announced before all the lights came on and there at the entrance opening was Mikoto, her hand held up to her face with her fingers split to show one of her crimson colored eyes. The crowd cheered as the Defiant Darkness walked down the stage arena, head held high as she waved to a few of her fans. It was only after she had revealed herself did her theme music start, followed by dark purple sparklers rising up on either side of the stage.

Upon inspection, she was wearing a short black dress that was short enough for her to move well in but regal enough to let everyone know how incredible she was. Underneath, she was just wearing some black wrestling bottoms that she always wore with her clothes. She didn't want anyone looking at her in a perverted manner after all.

Once she made it to the ring, she would climb up the stairs, flipping her long silver hair away from her face pridefully before stepping into the ring. She glanced towards Doctor Fab for only a moment before turning away to hold her hand up and snap her fingers, causing the lights to turn off again. Once they were back on, Mikoto would be leaning against her turnbuckle, waiting for the match to start. She wasn't much in the mood for talking with her opponent after her last match where she had unfortunately lost against a certain French performer. At least this match wasn't going to be humiliating... She hoped.

Doc Fab waited in her corner, leaning against it with her arms crossed. She took mental notes as Mikoto made her way out, smiling calmly even as the lights were off. Rolling her eyes lightly at the theatrics at display, she hummed softly in contemplation before propping her elbow on the top rope and resting her head in her hand, waiting patiently for Yakamura to enter the ring.

And when she did and the lights turned back on, she bobbed her shoulders in a small shrug before giving a polite clap to her opponent. The Good Doctor would make her way to the middle of the ring after that, placing one hand behind her back while the other was extended towards her opponent. And she smiled at Mikoto, an inviting and warm one. "Well, that was fun," remarked the Wrestling Professor. "Let's have ourselves a nice match, hmm?" The blonde would keep her hand behind her back while the other was extended, presenting no danger to Mikoto currently. She was eager to see if her foe tonight would have the same respect.

Mikoto turned her head to look at her opponent without dropping her final dramatic pose that she head. She looked nice enough so the defiant darkness decided that this would be a regular match instead of having this woman swallowed up by the darkness. At least for now…

”Hmph. You should be praising your good fortune that you have managed to avoid being sent into the darkness to be reborn anew in the light. Most of those who I tussle with usually always end up needing to be thrown into darkness and despair!” she replied, shifting between three different- yet equally dramatic poses while talking to the doctor before keeping the last one and using one of her arms to extend outwards and shake her opponent’s hand.

Without giving her much room to reply, Mikoto would then quickly pivot her body a full 180 degrees and walk back to the turnbuckle to wait for the bell to ring.

Doc Fab kept her hand out, smiling calmly. It wasn't until Mikoto began speaking that her polite smile was faltering. Slowly twisting, she fought back against it, stifling a short laugh as her opponent gave her monologue. She didn't want to be rude and laugh at the girl, but this was a little much.

Still, Doctor Fabulous kept it together as she bit her lip, shaking the hand of Yakamura. Saying in a strained voice, trying to contain herself with her voice lower, the Good Doctor said, "I'll... definitely watch out for that darkness... and despair..."

And then, Fabulous waited until Mikoto turned and walked away before looking at the referee and raising her eyebrows with an incredulous expression on her face. The referee shrugged her shoulders and rolling her eyes. Then, the official sounded for the bell, putting a start to this match.

The Wrestling Professor held up her arms in a grappling pose, gesturing for Mikoto to approach her. "Let's... Light it up then, hmm?" said Doc Fabulous, biting back a chortle of her own at her remark, but being fully ready to get the competition underway.

Mikoto was somewhat amused by Doctor Fab’s wordplay. But she didn’t want to show it. Thus she was forced to bite the bottom of her lip to keep herself from chuckling a little. It had been a while since she had fought someone that was actually friendly, and she was starting to wonder why Management had put her up against this woman since she clearly wasn’t a bully or someone who needed to be enveloped by the darkness. She wouldn’t have the courtesy to think much about it because of the bell that would ring out within the next few seconds.

DING

At the sound of the bell, Mikoto decided to be the first to rush in, attempting to offer a contest of strength with her opponent so that she could push the Doctor into the corner of the ring to take first advantage in the match. Just because she didn’t hate the doctor, doesn’t mean she was going to go easy on her. Although, she would be lying if she were to say her heart was fully in it either since her personality rather thrived off of fighting against villains and heels.

The Doctor was watching Mikoto approach her, aiming to do a test of strength with her. Shrugging a shoulder, she smiled at her opponent, meeting her halfway in the ring. She raised her hands and winked at her, locking hands for the test of strength. Oddly, Fabulous could sense some reservation from her opponent--as if she expected more out of her in response to her darkness rambling. Taking a deep breath, the Wrestling Professor locked those hands entirely, pushing back.

Yakamura was pushing back more, making Doc Fab grunt in resistance. Winning a test of strength wasn't important for Doctor Fabulous; it was more educational. It provided an insight into how her opponents might play out the match from a simple lock up. That Mikoto was willing to put more strength into it was all she needed to know, and Fabulous didn't have any reason to use too much energy fighting back. So she maintained the same amount of pressure as she was being backed into her corner. When she got close, she stepped back into it, forcing the referee to intervene and demand a break from the ropes. Beaming happily, Doctor Fabulous simply said, "I think you won. Well done." A simple, easy compliment she was willing to pay Mikoto now. And she waited for the reset before moving again.

Mikoto could feel herself winning the contest of strength, telling her that she also had the advantage when it came to strength. Which also meant that there most likely wasn’t much of a force to over come either… She wasn’t used to not having many obstacles in her way, and Doctor Fab seemed to not be wanting to provide some any time soon. She even complimented her on her show of strength after the ref had split them apart from each other.

“I..- Erm… Yes! I-I know!” she said, attempting her best to keep the personality, putting her hands on her hips while trying to look at superior and influential as possible. “You seem intelligent enough to know that you cannot win. So as the great and powerful Defiant Darkness, I will grant you mercy and allow you to forfeit with your dignity in tact so I will not have to punish you!” she offered. She acted like she was giving mercy to Doctor Fabulous when in reality, the Doctor’s lack of resistance was making the Chuunibyou extremely uncomfortable.

Fabulous put a hand over her mouth and gasped loudly upon hearing what Mikoto was saying. She seemed awkward now--almost entirely put off by the way that the Good Doctor was treating her in such a friendly manner. It didn't stop her strange bravado though with this Darkness character she was portraying.

"You would be so benevolent! Thank you for such kind offer!" said Fabulous cheerfully with a bright smile. She was positively tickled by her foe now. And so she kneeled down on one knee and bowed her head slightly. And then she held a hand down in Mikoto's direction.

"Would you truly accept my forfeit? It would save us both time," explained Fabulous, keeping her hand out for Yakamura to accept.

This might be easy actually... She hesitated for a moment to wonder if her opponent was being serious before posing again. "Wh-why of course I will! You seem to be pure of heart already and do not need to be swallowed by the darkness! So I will not do what is not necessary!" she said, turning away from Doctor Fab while taking Doctor Fab's hand.
