Thea Asters vs Tiki Lowell

Despite the pleasant smile on her face and cordial reply to the older woman it belied the fact that Thea wanted nothing more than to tear her opponent apart and humiliate her in every way she knew how. But she couldn't let herself get carried away, not yet when it was still entirely possible the older woman could gain a lead that'd be nearly impossible to come back from. So Thea would watch and think carefully, trying to spot a gap or opening in the woman's guard to exploit.

Unfortunately things wouldn't be that easy. Tiki had walked backwards into the ropes, rebounding off them and back at the fairy! Eyes widening at this Thea prepared herself, thinking she could definitely counter this as long as her timing was right. So spreading her feet and lifting her hands Thea prepared to pivot and dodge... Only for the woman stop herself suddenly!

'Shit.' Thea thought to herself with wide eyes, unable to do anything as she took a kick to the chin that made her wince in pain before getting pushed over onto her back where her legs were grabbed and twisted within Tiki's own for a painful figure four leg lock! "Aghhh!" Crying out in pain from the hold Thea would bite her lip tightly in pain.. Before sucking a breath and doing what she had to do and starting turning side to side, building up momentum before trying to roll the two over onto their stomachs and in the process try to reverse the figure four on her opponent!

Tiki's little trick worked exactly as expected. She almost never counted things as guarantees in wrestling, but that rope rebound fake out was one of the things that got close. Even veterans fell for that one a lot, since it didn't matter what your experience was, you couldn't just ignore your opponent barreling towards you from the ropes. It wasn't some trick to cheese rookies, it was a truly good technique if you had the body control to manage it.

Tiki, for her successful maneuver, was rewarded with a blast of a kick and a Figure Four Leglock against Thea. The fairly girl took the natural next step and started rocking her body back and forth, trying to generate the momentum needed roll over onto her stomach, bringing the veteran along with her and reversing the hold to instead apply it to Tiki.

Normally, Tiki would try to turn her body opposite to Thea's, enough to stunt her momentum, but not so much that the blonde could suddenly shift direction and use the veteran's own movement against her. But Tiki had been looking for a way to avoid those mind games while still being able to stifle the reversal attempt. What she had come up with was only theoretical so far, but the veteran had enough faith to give it trial by fire.

Tiki would use her grip on Thea's ankle, as was natural to have when executing a Figure Four Leglock, to generate the countering force to the fairy's side to side rolling. When Thea would go one way, Tiki would twist her ankle the other direction. With a part of her opponent's body going in the opposite direction that she was, Tiki's theorized that that would limit the force Thea could generate enough that she wouldn't be able to reverse. Would Tiki's experiment prove a success? Well, that would come down to Thea, and whether or not she could beat Tiki's technique.

Thea knew that Tiki was a dangerous opponent walking into this match. Between experience, skill and size the green haired woman had practically everything and anything one could ask for in a main eventer veteran. Which was why Thea knew she had to pick her opportunities and moments carefully. Not just in what moves she used, but also in terms of the.. less than favorable attacks Thea was all too ok with using in a pinch.

"Aghhh!" Crying out in pain as once again her attempt to reverse the figure four was met with her ankle being twisted in the opposite direction by the girl. 'Damn it!' Thea thought to herself as she gritted her teeth, knowing that it was now time for one of her tricks as she used her hands to force herself up until she was in a sitting position glaring down her opponent.

"Hagh!" Crying out in effort Thea would force her torso as close to Tiki as she could before throwing her arm out, attempting to jab two of her fingers into Tiki's eyes with a eye poke! If done successfully and distracting Tiki than Thea would look to use the distraction and her sitting position to turn themselves over to the side in order to fully reverse the figure four and deal some damage back to Tiki!

Tiki's experiment was a resounding success, as Thea was going nowhere fast, once the veteran had turned the fairy's ankle into a steering wheel. Tiki took note as Thea was forced to try approaching her escape from a different angle. As the blonde sat up, the greenette presumed that her intent was to start crawling back to the ropes on her elbows, but it soon became clear that Thea wanted something else.

"Hmm?" Tiki hummed as Thea started straining her body forward through the Figure Four Leglock. Ah. My own legs," Tiki thought as she now believed that Thea was planning to start pounding at her legs to make the veteran release the hold. It was certainly a viable method of escape, if the ropes were too far away to be practical.

But once more did Tiki's intuition of Thea's escape plan prove wrong, as the fairy girl instead lunged forward with her arm. Her target was Tiki's eyes, but her arm would never make it. Having to reach past her own legs, along with the veteran's entire body, Thea's arm simply lacked the reach to make it. Luckily for her, however, Tiki did not recognize Thea's heelish intentions, thinking that the blonde instead wanted to grab at her head or shoulders. So for now, the true depths of Thea's tactics remained masked. Tiki, not wanting to give Thea a second chance to attack, released the Leglock of her own volition, kicking the blonde in the chest to knock her back before rolling backwards herself and getting up.

Figure four locks were always a pain to deal with. The person locking the hold in was like a anchor making trying to crawl for a rope break the most painful crawl you could deal with, not to mention increasing the amount of time and therefore damage your legs took. Worse yet was the position of the opponent's body making it hard to reach and do something about.

Most of the time to force someone to release the figure four the best was to roll over and reverse the hold, but as Tiki was showing she was smart enough to find a workaround it that made it almost impossible to achieve. As such Thea decided it was time to resort to less than fair tactics as she tried to reach forward and go for an eye poke! Unfortunately though the woman's body was too far back and the eye poke just wouldn't reach.

'Damn..' Thea thought but was lucky in the sense that the move managed to scare her opponent enough to release her hold, albeit it meant taking a kick to the chest. "Ngh!' Thea groaned out as she rolled back from the impact, holding her chest in pain, but was at least free now which was what mattered most.

Getting her feet under her and pushing herself up to her feet the blonde would do everything to suppress a glare towards her opponent. "Nice trick there with the figure four.." Thea complimented, thought to it was clear there was a bit of edge to her voice as she cautiously circled the woman across from her.

Tiki could tell that "frustrated" was probably an understatement of what Thea was feeling once they had both gotten up after the Figure Four Leglock had been released. The blonde was trying not to lose control of her temper, which would naturally create more opportunities for the veteran wrestler to take advantage of. Thea would have a big influence on the next path the match took; either she would focus up and keep herself in this fight, or she would lose composure and throw away any chance of winning.

"Why thank you," said Tiki in response to Thea's compliment. "It's something I've been working on, but this is the first time I've used that tactic in a match to stop a reversal." It looked like the fairy girl would be able to keep her composure, as she maintained the cautious approach to the fight that she had displayed earlier in the match.

Tiki had a good defensive position with her back to the ropes while being between the corners. She still had options to move, and a break was still within arm's reach if something went wrong. As Tiki had demonstrated earlier, offensive rope techniques were also available to her, but the veteran also doubted that Thea would be caught like that two times in a row, so Tiki hung back, ready to defend against her opponent's assault.

Cautiously circling her opponent Thea had to actively suppress her urge to run at Tiki and take her down to the mat. Nearly every fiber of her being wanted to do it, but she knew she had to be smarter than that. Not when Tiki had so many edges over her. Luckily with how easily Tiki was conversing with her it seemed she missed the attempted eye poke meaning Thea at least still had the element of surprise. Something that was looking to become more and more important as the match went on for the blonde.

"I see.. well its quite effective." Thea said before darting forward to Tiki, trying to close the distance between them before darting to the side, trying to grab the woman's wrist as she passed before twisting it up in an attempt at a hammerlock! As she did so however Thea kept herself low, both to help her stay below the woman's eyeline, but also to avoid any potential elbow strikes from Tiki if she got the hammerlock in successfully.

If successful in applying the hammer lock though Thea wouldn't keep it on for long as she'd instead look to push on Tiki's back near instantly to push the woman away while keeping hold of the woman's arm. If this worked than Thea would pull Tiki in by said arm before kicking her leg out, right into Tiki's knee which, with a timely turn and twist she'd also look to use the pull and kick to the leg to flip Tiki over herself hard into the mat before dropping down, knee first onto Tiki's arm to finish her combination!

With Tiki content to hang back and offer up the initiative to Thea, the blonde would eventually make a move no matter how cautious she may have wanted to be. But to her credit, Thea would manage to pull off something nice. She managed to fake Tiki out and get a grab on her wrist. The veteran tried to maneuver around to stop Thea from getting behind her, but the fairy girl was quick enough to secure a Hammerlock.

The Hammerlock wouldn't be locked in for long, though not because Tiki managed to escape. As Thea quickly pushed the forward before pulling her right back in, doing so to allow herself to kick Tiki's knee while the greenette was moving off balance under Thea's control. This gave the blonde the ability to hook Tiki's leg and flip the larger woman onto her back.

Once Thea had her setup complete, she jumped forward, pulling her feet underneath her body so she could crash into Tiki's arm with her knees. "Gah!" Tiki hissed as her elbow was smashed by the attack, the limb flattened and compressed beneath the blonde until the pressure from Thea's weight came off of it. To respond, Tiki would try to swing her leg up and around to catch the fairy girl in the head, and then roll backwards to get up.

Thea's plan worked to a T. Managing to catch the veteran off guard with her sudden grapple the blonde would manage to pull off a bit of finesse with her combination, doing some nice damage to her opponent's arm in the process. Smirking at this Thea would have at least some of her fun ruined as Tiki's foot came up catching her in the head. "Ngh!" Thea grunted out, forced to stand up from the blow while nursing her head, but her eyes immediately focused on Tiki.

Despite the blow the woman was clearly on the back foot right now and if she was fast enough Thea could still take the advantage. Waiting for Tiki to start to stand up is when Thea would go into action, pushing herself forward into dash at the green haired woman. As she did so she raised her arm up as if going for a lariat, knowing full well that Tiki for all her ring expertise and despite the pain in her arm would surely dodge it. Which would play right into her hands since, if Tiki did in fact dodge the move Thea would stop in her tracks right behind her before aiming a clubbing blow to the back of her head!

Tiki had a bit of a stinging sensation in her arm, but she had been hit enough times to know that this was something that time, adrenaline, and distraction would make the pain go away. The veteran succeeding in catching Thea in the head, but as she rolled back she knew that despite having bought some time, it wasn't going to be enough to stop Thea from being able to continue attacking entirely.

When Tiki came back up, she saw Thea coming at he, pulling back her arm and swinging it forwards toward the greenette. Tiki had enough time to duck it, and she continued by cutting behind the blonde so she could turn around and hit Thea with a German Suplex. But the fairy girl was ready, as she was already turning back herself to swing her other fist at Tiki's head.

"Oh!" Tiki yelped in surprise as she saw Thea's fist coming as she turned. So instead of reaching her arms forward to grab Thea, she brought them up to her head to defend herself. The veteran caught Thea's arm with her own, but she had been a touch late getting it up though, so the blonde was still able to land her fist on the side of Tiki's head with most of her original power behind it. The blow send Tiki stumbling backwards, but she stayed upright.
