Thea Asters vs Tiki Lowell

Thea cursed slightly, naturally upset that she had been put into the first submission hold of the match. Something that as a submission expert made her double upset. Luckily though it was because she was so well versed in such holds that she had just the knowledge neccessary to escape Tiki's clutches, rolling onto her side and getting her hip under her in order to try and lash out at Tiki.

Unfortunately, Tiki was proving to be a cautious type of opponent as the woman backed off and away from her. 'Damn.' Thea thought, at least relieved that her legs had been dropped but now she had a different problem as Tiki took to the air! Eyes widening it took only a split second for Thea to decide to do.. nothing. Tiki was taking a straight vertical backflip, and with how far she was extending her body she wouldn't be landing on Thea, so rolling would only get her caught by Tiki's feet.

Just as she thought Tiki landed just behind Thea, the air moving from her impact brushing past her hair. Nerves of steel paying off Thea wouldn't wait much longer as she brought her legs up before throwing them out, kipping up to her feet in a smooth movement.. just in the knick of time too as Tiki dropped down knee first where Thea had been previously. Looking to take advantage of this Thea would throw her leg back, aiming to drive a thrust kick, right into Tiki's jaw!

Tiki was fully expecting Thea to bail and roll into one of her descending feet, but the blonde steeled herself and stayed put, letting the veteran miss to either side of her. Tiki was impressed, but just because she had been expecting Thea to get hit, didn't mean that she wasn't ready to miss, and the veteran tried to close the trap as she dropped down onto her knees over Thea.

But this follow up too, would Thea manage to avoid, as she pulled herself up just in time to evade Tiki's drop. This Tiki really hadn't been expecting, and the greenette moved to try to defend herself. Thea was quick on her attack, and her foot came in as Tiki was getting an arm in front of herself to block. The attack ended up glancing off of Tiki's arm, but the kick was not deflected far enough to be made to miss.

"Uhn!" Tiki hissed as Thea's foot smashed into her cheek. The veteran wrestler already wasn't on amazing balance from how she landed, and the blonde's kick only guaranteed that Tiki would end up on her back. Once she fell, Tiki quickly moved to roll backwards and get back to her feet. The veteran smiled, she had been expecting a harder fight than Courage had given, and Thea had all but confirmed that Tiki was going to get exactly that.

Tiki was definitely proving to be a tough opponent thus far, but likewise Thea was showing the older woman she was not to be taken lightly herself. Nerves of steel showing she resisted the urge to roll and get caught by Tiki's stomp before rolling forward to avoid the woman's follow up move. From there it was all about Thea attempting to turn the tide in her favor as she swung her leg out, catching Tiki in the cheek rather than the chin.

'Almost a block. Impressive.' Thea thought to herself, admitting to herself the skill it must have taken to react and not get caught flush. Even after the hit Tiki was already rolling backwards to gain some distance from Thea. However Thea wasn't about to let the green haired woman get back to a point where she could go back on the attack.

That's why as Tiki rolled back Thea would take a step back before dashing forward towards the woman, leaping up as she approached the woman. If she got high enough Thea would try to hook her legs around Tiki's neck and spin around enough to grab her arm and pull it back! Aiming to lock in a arm trap hanging headscissor hold on the green haired woman!

As Tiki got back to her feet, she saw Thea already beelining for her. The veteran tried to react and defend again, but she didn't have enough time to stop an attack that was so unexpected in its nature. Thea leaped up over Tiki's shoulders and locked her in a Hanging Headscissors, also catching one of the arms that the greenette had brought up to try defending herself as well.

"Gah!" Tiki gasped as her throat was locked between Thea's thighs, stumbling around, the veteran fought to keep her balance and footing. Thankfully she was able to do so, as Tiki's plan to escape relied on her being stood up to start, because she needed to control how she went down. Specifically, Tiki would jump and fall back with as much weight on her shoulders as she could safely muster.

Naturally, the weight Tiki shifted into her shoulders would transfer to Thea as the veteran would try to squash the blonde between her body and the canvas. If that alone didn't break Thea's grip, Tiki would follow up by pushing down on her opponent with her free arm while trying to pull out of the Headscissor with all the strength of the rest of her body.

Speed luckily seemed to be one of the few edges Thea had physically over Tiki as the blonde managed to cross the distance between herself and the older woman before she could react. Perfect for the blonde as she then managed to catch the veteran in her submission hold, squeezing the life out of her while wrenching her arm, the sound of pain from Tiki being all Thea needed to know what she was doing was working, and that if she could keep it up, even this dragon could be slain.

Unfortunately for the Fairy however Tiki wasn't subdued so easily. While Thea had hoped to bring the woman down to the mat with her weight and the sudden momentum the woman was just too strong and resilient to keep her from doing so. This also meant that the green haired woman was able to fall back, directing all the momentum of which to cause Thea to take the brunt of the impact!

"Gah!" Crying out in pain as she hit the mat and was squashed under Tiki's weight Thea immediately undid her legs vise grip from around Thea's waist. Groaning and in pain Thea still had enough wisdom to know she was in a really bad position under Tiki right now, so she did the smart thing and moved to immediately roll away, trying to gain some measure of distance from the woman so that if nothing else, they could get back up in a neutral stance from each other.

Now it was Tiki's turn to pursue a retreating Thea. Her body drop worked perfectly, hitting the fairy girl hard enough that the veteran hardly had to pull herself free. But Thea still took the hit well enough to be able to go on the defensive, rather than just laying there for Tiki to attack. The blonde was quick, but the greenette was confident she could run her down and go on the offensive.

Thea was able to move quickly enough that Tiki would have lunge forward to reach in time, leaving the veteran with the choice of going in either head first or feet first. A cautious woman, Tiki decided to lead with her feet, sliding towards Thea's ankles. If she managed to connect her slide and take out the blonde's legs, Tiki would then push herself further forward off of the floor to shoot a kick into Thea's body as she fell.

If Tiki connected that, she knew that trying to push this further would be greedy, considering the distance between the two and the veteran being on her back after her attack. So, she would simply roll backwards and get up, giving herself some extra distance in case Thea was feeling aggressive to even the score after getting put down onto her back.

Thea grunted softly after managing to roll out from under the green haired woman before trying to get up to her feet. Wincing softly as she did so. 'Damn she's better than I hoped she'd be. This may turn south faster than I wish it would.' Thea thought to herself, turning to face Tiki, especially since she started to hear foot steps approaching.

Unfortunately Thea was just a bit too late as Tiki ended up taking Thea's legs out from under, dropping her back down to the mat! "Kya!" Thea yelped out shrilly from impact, dropping down to the mat and ending up taking a follow up kick from Tiki!

"Ugh!" Thea groaned out after taking the hit and immediately rolling away, trying to cross the rest of the ring to go under the ropes and to the floor while holding her side. Both to recover, as well as to try and plan a counter if Tiki tried to follow her out to the ring side area.

Tiki was pleased when her little attack combination worked, but grew annoyed when Thea decided to use the space that the situation granted to escape the ring entirely. It's Queen of the Ring, not Queen of the... hm, huh, well whatever, I've got more than enough time to think of something, it seems," Tiki thought, having little intention to pursue.

Tiki decided to stay put in the ring because when somebody left it, it meant that they wanted you to try following them. Or at least that they were prepared and had an idea of what they wanted to do if you did, assuming you were fighting someone who had any idea what they were doing. No, Tiki would simply allow the ref's DQ count force Thea back in, for which Tiki would be prepared.

"4! 5!" the ref's count climbed higher as Tiki positioned herself for Thea's re-entry. Keeping an eye on the blonde, the veteran would keep herself lined up with her near the ropes, but just far enough way that Thea wouldn't be able to actually reach Tiki with an attack from outside. From there, it was a matter of reacting to how the fairy girl would try to get back in, and then reacting accordingly.

Oh! I've got it! Queen of the Ring Out!

Thea was no fool, she knew just how bad a position she had been in after taking such a direct hit from Tiki that took her off her feet. As such she took the opportunity to roll out of the ring and escape any possible follow up from Tiki and hopefully create an opportunity for herself as well.. Though unfortunately she didn't get that with Tiki staying firmly in the ring. "Dammit." Thea hissed to herself as the ref's count began to climb.

Hopping onto the apron and keeping a weary eye on her opponent Thea would reenter the ring well before she could be counted out. But in a way where she could react if Tiki tried anything, not that she seemed the type too. "Nothing wrong with a tactical retreat." Thea would say to the green haired woman as she began to circle her, arms coming up as she looked for any kind of opening from the older wrestler, or for any incoming attack from her.

Tiki had been hoping to make Thea pay something of a toll to cross back through the ropes and into the ring. But the blonde was so cagey and cautious about it that the veteran could recognize that she'd only be getting herself into a scrap, rather than getting the chance to exploit an easy opening. So, Thea was able to get back in and start circling around Tiki towards the center.

Count Out DQ rules would beg to differ, but okay, was what Tiki was tempted to say in response to Thea, but instead she just kept quiet, got her hands up, and focused on her opponent. Thea was clearly treating her opponent with caution, exercising the patience to look for an opening rather than trying to create one by force.

With Tiki turned towards the center of the ring to face Thea, her back was only a couple of steps from the ropes. The veteran decided to take those steps, and then a couple more, setting herself up to slingshot at her opponent. Tiki then took of, and charged a few steps towards Thea before taking a high, bounding step that killed her momentum right in front of the fairy girl.

The a football player trying to fake out the goalkeeper on a penalty, Tiki was trying to fake out Thea with a false charge. Only instead of kicking a ball, Tiki would be trying to kick her opponent in the chin. If it connected, the veteran would push the then unbalanced blonde down onto her back and try to lock her into a Figure Four Leglock, making sure to put the pressure on the leg she had just struck for extra effect.
