Doctor Fabulous vs. Cleo Hulbury - Apex Qualifier

The Wrestling Professor was pulling herself up, looking a little beleaguered as Cleo Hulbury was talking back to her. She shrugged her shoulder, holding onto the ropes with both hands and smiled a bit bashfully. "Well, I'm always worried. I'm a worrier. It's a part of the profession," answered Doc Fab, jokingly replying to her opponent.

But the talking ended there as Cleo ran right at Fabulous. Taking a deep breath, the blonde waited a beat before suddenly stepping towards Cleo and giving her a shove in her back as she went to the charging girl's side. Then, the good doctor would get behind Cleo as she was heading towards the ropes, looking to catch her on the rebound. The momentum would help her out with the move as she was still hurting, and it would be a welcome assist. Doc would wrap her arms around Hulbury's waist and attempt to throw her back in a Snap German Suplex, aiming to plant Cleo on the back of her head quickly. It would be a big move she needed at this point, and one she hoped would catch Cleo off guard enough to let her follow up on.

After doing so much damage to Fabulous's leg Cleo knew she was close. All she needed was to keep the pressure up on the blonde before she could fully get herself resituated and in control. Rushing towards the woman Cleo would leap up, trying to throw her leg out to deliver a running knee while the woman trapped against the ropes, knowing that a hit like that would knock the wind out of her and quite possibly leave the blonde in perfect position for her finisher on top of it.

However after taking to the air and rearing her leg up, knee pointed towards her opponent Cleo's eyes would widen seeing her opponent suddenly dart out of the way! "Shite!" Cleo cried out shrilly as she missed her target entirely and bounced off the ropes... Right into the waiting arms of her nemesis as the blonde's arms wrapped around Cleo's waist from behind before the model found herself taken off her feet and thens slammed down hard onto the mat shoulders first! "Gah!" Cleo cried out in pain, legs and lower half folded over herself from the position the suplex left her in.

Doctor Fabulous had managed her bait and switch rather effectively. She shoved Cleo into the ropes, using her momentum against her, and then caught her on the rebound, sending her back in a Snap German Suplex that leveled the girl into the mat! The Wrestling Professor laid back and held her leg, letting out a groan. "Sorry for the abruptness of that... but it did feel really good, if I'm honest," teased Doc Fab as she sat up, taking a deep breath.

Taking another moment to recover, the psychiatrist-wrestler stood up, getting to her feet and moving to Cleo's side while she was legs up, folded over. "This, I might feel bad about though," remarked Fabulous, leaning down and grabbing hold of Hulbury around her neck and legs in a cradle position. Sucking in another deep breath, Doctor Fabulous knew she would need to tough it out with her leg for this maneuver as she was about to throw a lot of strength into this.

She would then hoist Cleo up in this cradle position and then step forward. Doctor Fabulous would then try to drop Cleo on the back of her neck over her knee as she dropped down, trying to let Cleo drop down onto her good knee. A devastating maneuver that would certainly do a toll on Cleo's neck that had to be hurting now on top of everything else.

Cleo was already upset that her move had missed Fabulous by such a wide margin. But the moment she felt the blonde's arms wrap around her waist from behind the dark skinned woman's eyes would widen in surprise before she was taken backwards and slammed into the mat with a hard impact that left her folded in half! "Ugh.." Groaning in response as she was grabbed and lifted up right from this position Cleo couldn't offer any better verbal response to Fabulous's words, totally helpless as she was hauled up.. before getting dropped onto the woman's knee. "AGHHHHH!!!" Screaming in pain as she immediately held her neck Cleo would kick her legs against the mat, stunned by the move!

Doctor Fabulous hoisted Cleo up and then dropped her right down in a cradled neck breaker maneuver. An impressive move that left Hulbury hurting after an unceremonious drop onto her knee, and the Wrestling Professor cringed, putting a hand to her hurt thigh and hissing out loud. "I was wrong... I didn't feel bad about it," said Doc Fab, flashing a little smile as she grabbed hold of Cleo's head.

She would then hook up the dark-skinned girl as she drug her to her feet, hopping on one foot briefly. Then, she would twist Cleo one way as she hooked her up for a suplex, then swing her body, looking to send Cleo snapping neck-first into the mat with her signature move, the Bitter Pill! She wanted to further injure that neck and really wear it down to make the rest of the match that much more difficult for her foe!

Cleo had the advantage in the mask forcefully pulled from her grasp by the blonde professor, leaving her totally vulnerable as she was brought down neck first onto the woman's knee with that neckbreaker. 'Damn it...' Cleo thought to herself as she tried to force herself up to a sitting position at least, only to get cut off and forced to her feet, hooked and set up within the professor's clutches before getting swung through the air, landing neck first once again! "GAHHH!" Cleo yelled out in pain, immediately bucking and thrashing on the mat, grasping at her neck while hissing in pain, left stunned by the devastating follow up!

The good Doctor swung Cleo around and planted h t into the mat hard with the Bitter Pill, softening up that neck even more. She wanted to get it completely pain-ridden to keep Hulbury from being able to come back at her, while also getting her ready for one of her finishers. So when Doc Fab landed on the mat after, she had a smile on her face, putting a hand to her still hurt thigh and giving a few nods

"I notice you're talking significantly less, which is fine. Just noting that," said Fabulous with a chipper tone. She would then shove Cleo onto her front abruptly before attempting to place her knee on the girl's back. Doctor Fabulous would then put her weight there as she grabbed under Hulbury's chin with both hands locked and attempted to pull her back in a painful cross face that she knew would work over that neck even more. She has a strategy now, and the Doctor was ready to keep working on it.

Cleo was in a world of pain right now. One that she wouldn't be able to bounce back from. Not easily at least, especially not with Doctor Fabulous still on her at every single point. Looking up at the woman while holding her neck Cleo would glare hatefully at the woman. "Oh trust me.. I'll speaking more as soon as I can kick you're A-AHGHHHHh!!!" Cleo's cutting comment was cut off mid sentence as Fabulous placed her knee roughly on Cleo's back, driving a ton of weight on her spine, while in turn locking her in a agonizing crossface submission! One made even worse with the damage Cleo's neck had already recently taken that made it all but unbearable for the model to bear as it took her everything she had to resist the urge to submit as is!

Doc Fab was holding in that crossface tight, tugging back on Cleo to hurt her neck even more. She was wearing it down as much as she possibly could, knowing that it was perfect for how she liked to finish off her opponents. "Tut-tut. You should focus on breaking free, because I know how you're feeling now," said the good Doctor, keeping on the hold, torquing it more. "The compression of the neck--grinding cervical bones together. Nerves pinching. That stiff, constant pain... Just being able to look at me again will hurt. A reminder, instantly, when you want to make a comeback that you just aren't in good shape right now," continued Fabulous, clearly trying to drive doubt into Cleo's head right now.

"But... you can put an end to that right now. Let's see if you're willing to give in," said Doctor Fabulous. The blonde psychiatrist swiftly, got off of Cleo and gave a hard tug of her crossface, aiding in her pulling Hulbury over onto her back as she went for a sudden pinfall! She went for the lateral press, putting her forearm into Cleo's cheek and pushing her head over to the side to add a little more torque to that neck as she went for the pin. She didn't put as much weight onto Cleo's shoulders though, leaving it entirely possible for her opponent to break that pinfall.

Cleo was in a world of agony right now. The damage her arm had taken throughout the early parts of the match was screaming even louder than before. Likewise all the attacks to the neck she had been taking from Fabulous recently had piled up fast and she could already feel the stiffness setting in and the difficulty in movement it was causing the rest of her body to have. All of which not helped at all by the crossface she currently found herself locked in! 'Damn it!' Cleo thought to herself, especially as Fabulous spoke and as much as Cleo hated to admit it, the woman was raising valid points about her ability to continue, but she'd be damned if she just rolled over for this woman! At least.. willingly.

Because Cleo found herself rolled over onto her back where her opponent draped herself across her for a pinfall attempt! "Ngh!" Groaning softly from the pressure on her neck Cleo would hear the ref drop down and make the first two counts easily... But she wouldn't let it end like this! "Grah!" Cleo roared, using the freedom her shoulders had to thrust one up and force Fabulous's hand from her cheek and give Cleo some room to breathe as she laid on her side, trying to cradle her neck gently.
