The good, the bad and the ugly: Kelya vs. Mikoto

As Kelya drove her boot repeatedly into Mikoto's chest, she watched her float in and out of conciousness. She was certainly close to acvomplishing what she set out to do in the match and was eager to conclude with one more emphatic move.

But before she could position herself to do thst, the Brazilian took a wild kick toward her chest from her japanese opponent thst came with surprising force. She took a clumsy step backward at nearly resulted in turning her ankle, with the compensation from avoiding doing so leading to her akwardly bend her braced knee.

She'd instincively bend and grab toward it, possibly leaving her vulnerable.

Thankfully, something managed to go right for Mikoto before things had progressed even worse. She had thought that one more kick would have done it for the Defiant Darkness, and that she would have to challenge this woman again to get Darkness' Avengement.

Following her first kick, Mikoto saw her opportunity through dazed eyes and launched her foot once again, aiming for that braced knee of Kelya's as the weakened girl aimed to cause the Amazon to fall flat on her face so she could attempt some type of pin in the hopes that she could actually win this by some miracle.

Kelya cried out when her knee was kick, tgen dropped face first to the mat. There was no doubt in hernmind that the kick was a deliberate attack on her weakened knee. Then the pin attempt came.

1!...

The official would make a single count, before Kelya almost immediately kicked out of the pin attempt, fueled by rage against Mikoto. When the matcg began, she wanted to knock her opponent out as a statement, but now, she wanted to do it out of pure spite.

Trying to get to her feet with Mikoto still on top of her and without using her braced knee, she grabbed the girl up by her hair. She'd try to punch the girl in the chest once, for good measure, before attempting to pull her up to her feer to whip her against the ring ropes, hoping to cause her to bounce back.

Mikoto yelped as Kelya immediately broke free of the pin, knocking the smaller defiant darkness off of her as she laid on the ground, panting heavily while her opponent stood back up. Feeling her hair being pulled, she was forced to stand back up and endure the punch, her body wanting to bend over in agony as Kelya managed to whip the dazed figure into the ropes and allow her to bounce back. It looked like Mikoto was about to collapse if she ran further for any longer.

Seeing Mikoto still up, but clearly on the edge of collapse, filled with Kelya with delight. At this point, she could quite clearly knock her over and pin her for a victory. Frankly, if she even insisted on knocking the girl out, a swift kick to the head in the former of one of her signatures or finishers would almost certainly put her lights.

But the Brazilian, steaming from being kicked in her grace knee, wasn't intending on doing just enough. She wanted to do more than she needed to inorder to reslly put an exclamation march on the match.

As Mikoto bouned back toward her, Kelya would try plant her right foot down and lift her left knee into Mikoto's gut. The move worsened the soreness in Kelya's knee, but it would bend Mikoto over and allow the larger woman to prepare to lift her as though she was intending on perforing a suplex.

"You'll be consumed by the darkness of unconciousness, Mikoto...." She'd say in a threathening tone, calling back to theur first conversation, before lifting the woman up, vetically.

However, once she had her upside down, rather than fall back as one would with a suplex, Kelya remained standing. Instead she lifted the girl up higher still, until Mitoko's head was roughly even with her own. By now the japanese girl must have known. This wasn't suplex, The brazillian intended to spike her head first to the canvas from six feet up with her Piranha Driver!

The brunette was putting significant pressure on her hurting knee as she held her opponent up, but she could help but make sure that Mikoto knew what was about to happen to her before she did it.

"And you'll wake up to the light of a hospital room!"

Kelya mocjed, still holding her up and enjoying the prospect of pleading, even as every moment that went by hurt her braced knee more and more.
