Battle of Bosses Akane Miitoboru vs Huan Lei Brightspring

”Illogical-“ she would be interrupted by seeing what her opponent was doing, her eyes widening. She was really going for something like that so early in the match!? Instinctually, Akane finally showed some form of rebellion by grabbing onto the woman’s wrist and keeping her from ripping off her outfit. She would get some type of glance of her bare body underneath though.

Akane would soon learn that despite keeping her outfit on, she was able to use that act of rebellion to grab onto said arm to whip her into the ropes and cause her to uncontrollably bounce back and run straight into Huan’s boot! Her body crashing backwards to the ground with a loud thump as she laid there dazed for a moment, only able to understand what her opponent said but not respond.

“Waste her time?” What kind of idiotic brute was she? She was only doing this so that people could relate to her, damn it. So she’s a loser for winning too much and a loser for losing!? She grit her teeth, not getting up, but it was a little clear that Huan’s words were getting on Akane’s nerves.

Finally, Huan managed to get some spark out of her opponent. A little one so far but it was progress, now it was a matter to let it grow into a proper flame and guide it. She didn't want anger, she wanted drive, and desire to win but in the absence of that, anger would suffice.

"Now, that's more like it! Come on, show me what you can really do!" She shouted, beckoning her opponent to attack, genuinely eager to see what she could do when she really tried.

Akane still didn't understand why Huan was trying so hard to make her go all out. But she decided to fight back a little bit so that she could better fake her skill. She still did not have much heart in her to win mainly because she thought that winning more would make people start not relating to her. Especially if she just all of a sudden became extremely good and do things she had never done before in her career. She just wanted to stay relatively unknown. Then she could keep what fans she has made. Akane didn't think she could handle having a repeat of high school all over again.

So she attempted to pull herself up without putting her guard up because she believed her opponent would let her because that's the type of person Akane thought Huan was. If she were able to do that, she would dust herself off a little bit, she would stand facing towards her opponent and sighed. "Fine."

Without warning, Akane would attempt to hook her arm underneath her opponent's while the other hand would grab onto her opponents arm and then pivot her figure to the side so her hip would press against her opponent's abdomen. If she managed to get that far, she would try to perform a simple hip throw on her opponent. A move she had learned while studying some martial arts of her own in High School. She was hoping to get her opponent onto the ground so that she could put her into a scissor choke hold between her thighs.

Some spark was there, some fire that made Akane move, push forward and try to fight. As stupid as it was, Huan would let her go forward with the hip throw. She would land hard on the mat, rebounding off of it with the power of the throw and before she could get out she'd feel a pair of powerful thighs squeezing either side of her neck. It was a good move but Huan could already tell it was not even close to what she could force out of her opponent.

Rolling them over so that Akane would be the one with her back on the ground. Huan would shoot her knees underneath her, pushing up to her feet as she picked up her opponent as well only to then slam her down to the ground with a powerbomb. Before stepping back. "Come on! More! I know you can do more!" She continued to taunt, hoping to finally push Akane over the edge to start the real fight.

Akane legitimately wasn’t expecting the way Huan would counter her attack. Instead of simply breaking the hold, Huan would take advantage of her strength and simply pick the silver haired gamer girl up. Her eyes widened as she pretended to struggle within the woman’s hold and then forcefully slammed down onto the ring floor, forcing a yelp of pain from her as she laid there in the same position she was slammed in until her opponent had backed off of her.

Okay. That also hurt… Then also she heard the former MMA fighter repeat the same line like she was some action figure. She hated that Huan could see through her act when so many others couldn’t. A few seconds later, she would roll back onto her feet, her expression the same neutral, uninterested look it had been the entire match.

”I don’t even understand why you careZ its not like your results are going to be effected negatively as a result of beating me. Why are you so illogically persistent?” she asked while she began to circle her opponent like a wolf, looking for some type of opening where she could catch Huan off guard.

"I don't care for the result." She said simply reiterating what she already said. "But if I win I want to earn it! I don't need you to give it to me. What I need you to do is to try and crush me!" She perpesfuly used exaggerated language to add effect. It would take exactly that for Akane to have a chance at winning and Huan was determined to make the girl go all out.

To force her to step it up, Huan would faint a front kick. She did so to get close before firing a series of switch kicks to the woman's body to soften her up and draw her attention to that target before then going for a high kick.

Hearing Huan's first response pissed Akane off even more. Was her entire reason for doing this just to fight? That idea was absurd to Akane. Yeah she wrestled and played video games to fight other people, but there was always more too it than that.

Unfortunately, she wouldn't have much time to ponder it because she would see Huan's first kick be thrown at her. When she went to block it, she would realize she had fallen for the former MMA fighter's trick and let out more grunts of pain as the flurry of switch kicks to her sides, each one causing her to stumble into the next kick until she was left a bit dazed from being beaten up. But not dazed enough because she was able to recover fast enough to not only reach up and block the high kick, but also try and catch it. "Ya know what. Fine."

She had managed to annoy Akane enough to where she didn't care about losing the match anymore. She just wanted Huan to shut up. If she was able to catch Huan's leg, she would take a step inwards, her other foot sweeping around and attempted to try to hook around and pull the MMA fighter's leg right from under her to get the girl on the ground so she could go for a figure four leg lock. She was done playing games now.

Having her kick grabbed came as a bit of a surprise to Huan, though a pleasant one. There was little she could do against the sweep, landing on her back with an audible thud. A smile came across her face, it was time to get serious.

As far as leg locks went, figure four took time to set up, time Huan was not about to give to her opponent. Pulling her legs close, she would kick with both of them to push Akane away before kicking up to her feet. Then she would dart in, throwing a flicking jab at Akane's face before trying to land a low kick just above her knee.

As Huan managed to break the figure four lock, Akane's eyes widened. She was actually trying to keep that hold... The shock of having it broken caused her to quickly attempt to retreat by rolling backwards. But right after she came back to her feet, her opponent would counter with a strong punch that would also land on the Gamer Goddess. "GYUH!" she grunted, nearly falling to the side but managing to catch herself from falling as she attempted to use the momentum to pivot her foot and spin around while bringing her leg up to have the back of her heel crash into the side of her opponent's head, hoping for her to be the one knocked over instead.

Huan saw the move that Akane was trying to execute. There was no way for her to dodge it completely so instead she rose her arms up to block. As soon as the kick hit, she would move with it, making it seem like she was falling down only to then plant her hands and send her leg up in a scorpion kick!
