Gamer Girl Showdown: Alexis vs. Svetlana

Unread post by Highfly »

Match Type: Standard

Svetlana was in her purple and white attire strutting through the halls backstage. She was excited for this fight on one hand, but a bit anxious on the other. Alexis was by far the biggest, most muscular woman she ever stepped into the ring with. It was going to be one hell of a challenge for sure. Svetlana had to be faster, and smarter. There was no way she could equal the raw strength of her big blonde statuesque opponent. She had to wear her down.

The young purple-haired Pole was confident though she had really been working at getting better at wrestling and wanted to be known primarily as a wrestler who also did gaming stuff not the other way around. Svetlana sort of saw Jem Holland as an endgame goal for herself. Jem was turning into a force inside the ring and she had millions of millions of fans. Svetlana was struggling to break out of the undercard elite category while her number of fans of her streaming work just barely broke into four digits.

Right now though she had a match to win and that is what she would do. As her music played Svetlana came out and pointed to the crowd, waving to the fans as she walked with a confident strut down the ramp. She swayed her hips as she held her arms out a bit, blowing a kiss to the fans before winking. She made it tot he ring, climbing up onto the apron then through the ropes doing a lap around to soak up the cheers she was getting before settling into her corner.

Alexis appeared soon after her theme sounded. After a few steps, she stopped to take in the fanfare with the smile of a conquering hero. In her previous league, she pretty much was. She'd even fought her way to becoming champion, something she hopes to do here in LAW.

The thought turned her smile into a look of focus as she thumped a closed hand into her chest and bowed her head in silent prayer. A prayer that was always finished by the time the guitars came in. She raised her head slowly, like a hero in film that was about to walk into the final battle. Blue eyes staring dead ahead at her foe. A friendly, totally awesome foe, but a foe nonetheless.

The Viking raised her muscular arms up high and, with those in the crowd who were familiar with her -- quite a few more than she was expecting -- bellowed, "FOR THE ALL FATHER! FOR ASGARD!" She leapt into the air and came back down with hammerfists pounding into the stage, triggering lines of pyro on either side that erupted down to its end.

The pyro was a new touch to her entrance, one that both she and the audience agreed was absolutely awesome. The latter was a bigger one than she'd ever wrestled in front of before, and their energy quickly proved infectious. "YAH-HA!" She bounced right back onto her feet and marched to the ring, this time bearing the smile of a warrior who lived for battle. Ate it, drank it, slept it, breathed it. Her eyes remained facing straight ahead even as she stepped closer to the fans to clap their hands. That is, until she spotted a little one just behind the barrier by the ring holding up a sign featuring artwork of her performing her signature pose, shouting her devotion to Odin and the realm. Her musculature was exaggerated, making her look more like a comic book hero.

The girl was sporting armor that was so well made, it looked like the real deal. The little Viking could barely contain her excitement when Alexis approached her and held up her sign, first for the crowd, then for the camera that closed in for a shot. After returning it, Alexis would say to her, "May the All Father's blessing be upon you, young warrior." The little girl's illuminating smile would stick with her. Interacting with the kids like this always made her fight harder.

And occasionally add something extra to her entrance, like running up and leaping onto the apron and flipping clear over the ropes. To show the little girls that there isn't anything uncool about growing up big and strong. She turned to the nearby corner and jumped up to the top rope, flexed her muscles for the cheering crowd, then came back down to the mat with a backflip.

The spirited blonde turned to Svetlana and approached her with an extended hand. "May this battle be an epic sung by bards all across the land, friend!"

Svetlana was all smiles when she saw Alexis, an unusual reaction to seeing a giant musclular titaness walking down to the wrestling ring. Svetlana kept an eye on her and really was in awe of her size, her fitness and her figure. It was the picture of a statuesque stunner to be sure. Svetlana was all smiles as she shook Alexis' hand and gave her a nod.

"Yes, we will have a great match and do not underestimate me because I am small!" Svetlana said. Normally a 5'6'' 150+ pound woman with her own visible muscle mass and some sculpt especially in the abdomen and shoulders would hardly be considered small. Alexis however was a giant.

The bell rang and Svetlana began to quickly circle Alexis. She had to strike, be fast and be careful about picking moments to grapple. For now Svetlana would stay far until stepping up and jumping trying to open up with a dropkick square to the chest of Alexis!

Stay mobile and out of her reach. Nine times out of ten, that was how a smaller opponent would start the match off against The Viking. And she would follow along, waiting for her moment. Sooner or later, Svetlana would go for a strike or maneuver that either didn't require much of a commitment or one would be meant to send her stumbling or otherwise render her unable to immediately retaliate afterwards.

And maybe she would get it, but the leveling she did in Agility did not require her to sacrifice Toughness. The powerful Middleweight would see this at the end of the chase Alexis gave. She would act like she was trying to grab her, but the goal was to keep her moving and using up her stamina. After one particularly, intentionally telegraphed and overcommitted "attempt", Alexis would turn around after Svetlana circled around her, pointedly taking a couple strides forward before stopping to steel herself against the incoming counter.

It was a good, solid hit, just as expected from a woman with such well-sculpted legs. But it wasn't anything that the blonde couldn't tank.

Using the momentum thrust upon her through the dropkick, Alexis backed into the ropes and came charging back at her with the speed of a cheetah, arm raised in preparation to knock her silly with a clothesline!

Svetlana managed to smash Alexis with the dropkick but the big woman only stumbled back instead of falling! Svetlana got up only to get absolutely bulldozed by the clothesline! Her body was lift off the mat and she crashed down hard onto her back. She weakly kicked the mat and moaned in agony as her arms cradled her chest where the clothesline connected. Svetlana was laid out on her back on the mat not able to rise quickly after a hit like that.

Alexis swiftly moved to set her weight down on Svetlana. One leg hooked, with a hand keeping the arm that wasn't trapped directly underneath her pinned to the mat by the wrist. The Viking wasn't so cocky as to believe that this one clothesline was enough to do the job. No, the intent was to keep that stamina draining. Breaking a pin like this that's being applied by someone who has nine inches and seventy pounds on you isn't going to be easy.

And even when she does, barring an impressive showing of strength, fast maneuvering, fancy tricks, or some combination of the three, her fellow roleplayer would still be right there, in her grasp.

Svetlana felt herself covered and she groaned in pain as the pin count had begun early in the match after one single move!

"ONE!"

Svetelana howled and thrust a shoulder to the side while bucking her hips up, thrusting hard to kick out. She felt Alexis still had hold of her and she tried to yank her limbs away while shoving and slapping at Alexis to get her to break her grip! "Let go!" Svetlana shouted trying her best to free herself if she could manage that.

Svetlana would break the pin, but just as planned, she would not break The Viking's grip. "Not enough, friend!" Alexis would rise up from the mat with the purple-haired mini-amazon in tow, the arm that hooked her leg remaining between them, a hand innocently gripping her fine buttocks for leverage. The other lifted her up by her neck and shoulder.

Once she was on her feet, she would hoist Svetlana over her shoulder, one arm wrapped around her waist and a hand gripping the back of her neck. If she didn't manage to escape, Alexis would take a few running steps turning back to the center of the ring, where she would flatten her with a mighty, ring shaking powerslam, following it up with another pin attempt.

Svetlana shook her head and cried out as she was sent crashing down to the canvas! She howled and weakly kicked her free leg as the ring ropes kept shaking after the impact!

"ONE!"

"TWO!"

Svetlana howled and screamed arching her back to bridge out of the pin. She was already hurting and in a bad spot against Alexis, and she was really wondering what she would have to do to stop the painful onslaught.

One thing that wrestling fans tend to miss is how much the little things matter. Lots of tiny happenings and details that seem insignificant as an observer. One of them is kicking out of pins. Along with being more tiring than it looks when the attempts are done close together, there are circumstances that actually make them pretty impressive, like what Svetlana just did.

She didn't get a leg free. She didn't just raise a shoulder. What she did was buck Alexis up far enough to get both shoulders off the mat to stop the count. Right after getting her back slammed into it, with Alexis' body weight coming down right on top of her in the process. That takes some real strength. Core control. And most of all, it takes grit.

It was an impressive feat, indeed. But it wasn't the smartest way to break that pin, because that strain created a weak point. One that The Viking was quick to try to exploit. With Svetlana's leg still in her grasp, she would attempt to roll her towards her and into a prone position. After doing that and stepping over, she would hook that leg underneath her arm. With that done and escape being made a lot harder to accomplish, she would capture her other leg and apply a full Boston Crab, not only putting immense pressure on her now damaged back, but also stretching her quads.

Her goal of slowing Svetlana down would be all but assured with this move: With the differences in their weight, crawling over to the ropes from the center of the ring would prove to be a Herculean task, made all the more difficult with all that muscle applying torque to the hold. And powering her way out of it seemed unlikely, and there wasn't much, if anything that she could do to get out as far as technical maneuvers were concerned.

Or at least, that's what Alexis would think. And with that thought, she would actually hope that the Middleweight would figure out a way. Of course, she would still try to win, but the warrior in her wouldn't want the match to end with this.
