Re: I'm Just Saiyan: "The Progidy" Gohan (D) vs. "The Lion of Valencia" Arturo Hernandez
Arturo was laser focused on yelling at the referee. Suddenly his vision went blurry and his senses were scrambled as he found himself upside down on the mat. Gohan successfully rolled Arturo up and the ref began counting the pin.
ONE!
TWO!
THR-NOOOOOOOO!
The crowd was on its feet and for a moment was hopeful, but Arturo shattered their dreams when he kicked out when the ref’s hand was inches from the mat. Arturo was a bit dizzy. He scrambled to his feet and, upon seeing Gohan, threw caution to the wind and charged him. Arturo brought his leg up and attempted to nail Gohan with a pump kick.

Re: I'm Just Saiyan: "The Progidy" Gohan (D) vs. "The Lion of Valencia" Arturo Hernandez
It seems that time moved slower and slower as Gohan got closer to the three count. The crowd's growing anticipation of a possible victor only seemed to make the time move even slower. As the referee was inches away from the third count, the Spaniard managed to kick Gohan off of him and break the count.
Gohan stumbled backwards in frustration, knowing that he was mere seconds away from victory. He saw his opponent quickly roll away from him and get up. Next thing he knew, the Spaniard is charging at him. Gohan saw the slight wobble in Arturo's step, seeming to hint at his opponent's disorientation. As Arturo raised his leg up, Gohan had more than enough time to side step and throw his body and leg up in the air and back for a Pelé Kick to further disorient his opponent and prep Arturo for his signature move.

Arturo's sluggishness cost him dearly. Gohan speedily sidestepped Arturo's kick and launched a kick of his own. Gohan's pele kick struck Arturo in the face and staggered him. The Spaniard was still standing but wobbly, vulnerable to Gohan's next move.

Gohan watches as his opponent sways back and forth from his kick, Arturo is clearly dazed and this is Gohan's chance to end this. Gohan launches alternating punches at the Spaniard. Though they are a bit weaker than what he'd like, having them connect in succession gets the job done as well.
His punches hit the Spaniard's mandible without resistance and the satisfaction of watching Arturo's face gets thrown side to side with each punch was enough to bring a smile to Gohan's face. Gohan was on a roll, after the third punch, he pulled his left arm back prepping it for a punch only to use it as a feint against his opponent.

The crowd got to their feet and roared at Gohan's comeback. Gohan unleashed three quick alternating punches at Arturo's face and body. Arturo grunted in pain and recoiled from each blow, but remained on his feet. Arturo saw Gohan's fourth punch coming and attempted to duck to the right side... only realizing too late he fell fight into Gohan's trap.

Everything was going according to plan. Gohan's feint had worked! As Arturo leaned to the right, he was caught unaware of Gohan's locked and loaded arm, waiting for him. The Spaniard was in range and Gohan launched an uppercut directly at his opponent's jaw, launching the Spaniard's head straight up. However, the Spaniard's heart and tenacity kept him on his feet and so Gohan finished up the sequence with a clean left jab at Arturo's vulnerable mug shot. Gohan could almost see the lights turn off from his opponent's eyes as the Spaniard goes down.
Not wanting to waste this opportunity, Gohan follows his downed opponent, laying on top of Arturo's beaten body and hooking his adjacent leg up for the pin! Gohan's back pressing down on top of Arturo's sweaty abdomen hoping to keep the Spaniard down for the count.
ONE!! Gohan raised his other arm to count along with the referee!

Arturo was got his shit rocked by his opponent’s uppercut. It was almost comical how Arturo’s face recoiled from the blow. Gohan certainly knew how to throw a punch. Arturo’s knees collapsed and he ragdolled to the ground. He felt Gohan pile on top of him, hook his leg, and go for the pin. Arturo’s stomach felt like it had several gym plates on top of it. He heard the ref’s count.
ONE!
TWO!
THR-NOOOOOOOOOOO!!
The crowd was in utter shock as Arturo managed to get his shoulders up at the last possible millisecond. The two men laid there next to each other exhausted.

Re: I'm Just Saiyan: "The Progidy" Gohan (D) vs. "The Lion of Valencia" Arturo Hernandez
"Oh for fuck's sake!!" The frustrated Gohan grabbed his own hair in disbelief as his seemingly deafeated opponent raised his shoulder off of the mat. Gohan, exhausted, took a moment to lay next to his opponent. He smiled at Arturo and said, "You know, you really are impressive." As he admired the Spaniard's nearly lifeless body, he placed his hand on the Spaniard's cheek, "M-maybe we can do something after this," he whispered--sort of hoping his opponent was too out of it to hear him.
Gohan then ran his hand up to Arturo's hair and as he got up, he dragged his opponent up with him. "It really has been fun... but I think we're done here," Gohan exclaimed.
As his unstable opponent wobbled in front of him, Gohan was determined to end the match. He began executing his finishing move with a quick and sharp kick to Arturo's wore down abs. Gohan watched as the Spaniard crumbled before him, but before his opponent could collapse on the ground, Gohan caught Arturo's face with his foot and slowly raised him back to a standing position.

Arturo lay there barely conscious next to Gohan. He heard the dull roar of the crowd and not much else. He then felt Gohan grab ahold of him and lift him to his feet. Arturo was wobbly and a perfect target for his opponent.
As Gohan drove his knee into Arturo’s chiseled abs, the Spaniard crumpled once again, but Gohan caught him with his foot and started pushing him back up to his feet. While it was an impressive display of strength on Gohan’s part, he had only one foot on the ground and his other leg was outstretched. Arturo quickly realized this and, on instinct, grabbed Gohan’s leg with both arms and twisted. He successfully executed a corkscrew takedown and both men went tumbling to the ground.

Re: I'm Just Saiyan: "The Progidy" Gohan (D) vs. "The Lion of Valencia" Arturo Hernandez
Gohan's eyes widened as his opponent's quick thinking allowed him to turn the table. Arturo had used Gohan's unstable position to take him down. His face and body stung as they slammed on the mat, but Gohan has come too far and fought too hard to let a little sting get in the way of winning the match. Realizing that his opponent went down with him, Gohan tried kick Arturo off of his leg and scramble back to his feet quickly so that he could continue having the upper hand. If Gohan manages to get up before his opponent, he would try to follow up with a quick clothesline, asserting dominance once more while buying him some time to recover and regroup from the failed finisher attempt.
