I'm Just Saiyan: "The Progidy" Gohan (D) vs. "The Lion of Valencia" Arturo Hernandez

Arturo had a moment to himself to recover, but not long. Suddenly Gohan disappeared behind him and Arturo felt his opponent's powerful legs wrap around his head and neck with a headscissors. Arturo felt immense pressure in his head and his eyes watered up. Arturo first tried rolling side to side, but Gohan was more than capable of keeping himself stable. Arturo kept trying to roll Gohan over a few more times, just so he would be focused on his sides and not what Arturo really intended. Arturo then suddenly pushed up off of his own legs as if he was crab walking. The Spaniard pressed his back against Gohan's thighs, forcing his opponent's back on the mat. This would cause the ref to start counting a pinfall, hopefully forcing Gohan to break the hold or get pinned!

Gohan watched as Arturo exert energy to try and roll him on his sides, but to no avail. After the first few attempts, Gohan wanted to show the crowd that he was very much in control and so with his opponent trapped between his legs, Gohan raised both of his arms and flexed them for the crowd. Cheers can be heard across the arena, predominantly the ladies.

As Gohan flexed, he didn't worry about being rolled to his sides. Little did he know, that his opponent was cooking up a plan to get out of his hold. Gohan was caught off guard when his opponent's back pressed against his thighs and his own back was against the mat.

The referee's hand hit the mat as soon as Gohan realized what was happening.

At the last second, Gohan was able to sit up and push The Spaniard away. "He still has some fight in him, huh? Well, let's see what we can do about that," Gohan thought to himself. Though he was still shocked from the pin attempt that just happened, Gohan quickly gets up, so that he can attempt to drop an elbow at Arturo's back as he tries to get up.

Arturo finally got sweet relief from the headscissors thanks to his quick thinking. As he was turned over and crawling to the ropes, he saw Gohan position himself to do a standing elbow drop on his back. Not having enough time to roll away, Arturo attempted to go with it instead. He turned over and braced himself for the blow. Gohan impacted Arturo with his full weight and the Spaniard lost his breath for a moment. But he had tanked the blow and now, Gohan’s back was visible and vulnerable. Arturo quickly wrapped his right arm around Gohan’s neck and pulled him in chest to back. The Spaniard attempted to lock in a rear naked choke, albeit one without the bodyscissors.

Gohan was not only successful in his attack, but his opponent seemed to have made it worse on himself by turning over and taking the attack head on... or so he thought. As Gohan's elbow met Arturo's chiseled chest, he heard the Spaniard's gasp for air. However, to Gohan's surprise, it seems this was part of the Spaniard's plan. Gohan's eyes widened as he felt Arturo's python-like arms wrap around his neck and squeeze. Gohan's eyes started to water as his air pipes were being restricted. He knew he needed to get out of there as soon as he can so Gohan raised his arms and drove his elbows backwards hoping to hit Arturo's sides and have him loosen the hold at least a little bit.

Arturo figured Gohan wouldn’t go down easy and he was right. The Saiyan thrashed wildly and elbowed him in the side. Realizing Gohan would escape before too long, Arturo knew he needed to head Gohan off. Arturo let go of the rear naked choke while Gohan was still focused on getting out. He grabbed Gohan by the gi and yanked him to his feet. With one hand, Arturo grabbed Gohan by the throat and with the other he used his gi for support. Arturo lifted Gohan up by his gi and brought his opponent down onto the mat with a chokeslam.

Gohan's elbows were connecting with Arturo's side, just as he wanted and he could feel the Spaniard's hold loosen. After a couple of minutes of struggling, air rushed through his wind pipes as Arturo released the hold. Gohan quickly tried to get out of Arturo's reach but before he could crawl away, Arturo grabbed him by his gi and yanked him up on his feet.

Still out of breath, Gohan couldn't resist the Spaniard's forceful pull. His eyes widened as he felt Arturo's sturdy hands wrap around his neck. Arturo's grip was tight and before Gohan could fight out of there, Arturo had already grabbed his gi and lifted Gohan into the air. Gohan's mouth widened as if to scream but no sounds came out, his arms swam in the air hoping to grab on to something to prevent the inevitable, but there was no stopping physics. What goes up, must come down and came down he did. And hard.

Gohan gritted his teeth and closed his eyes as the pain from the impact courses through his entire body. His back arched as the pain ran its course. He knew he needed to come back from this and he wanted to, but at the moment, he didn't know how. He was at Arturo's mercy.

Arturo saw that Gohan’s gi had started tearing when he lifted him up and slammed him back down.
In a devious move, Arturo proceeded to pull on Gohan’s gi some more. The Spaniard elicited massive boos from the crowd as he tore the sleeves and collar of Gohan’s gi. Now that Gohan’s gi was in tatters, Arturo intended to get creative. He sat back down in front of Gohan and pulled the tattered remains of Gohan’s gi across his throat to lock in a gi choke. To hide this from the ref, Arturo pressed against Gohan chest to chest and wrapped his free arm around Gohan’s head to obstruct the ref’s view. The Spaniard then squeezed with all his might, hoping to render Gohan unconscious.

Gohan was left sprawled across the mat from the chokeslam. He didn't even notice that his gi was starting to tear. As he laid there trying to recover, his opponent stood over him and pulled on the tear. Arturo did not struggle to rip Gohan's gi, in fact, as Arturo yanked Gohan's gi, not only did it tear but it also repositioned Gohan's exhausted body into a seated position. Gohan sat there limped with tattered clothes looking very much like a ragdoll.

Before he can react to his tattered gi, Gohan found himself face to face with Arturo. Gohan saw something wicked brewing in Arturo's eyes and all he could do was gulp in anticipation of what's next. Gohan watched as his opponent wrapped his tattered gi around his own neck. "Wh- What are y--" Gohan began saying before he was cut off, as he once again began losing the ability to breathe.

Gohan couldn't finish his sentence before Arturo pulled him closer. Their bare chests comes into contact, his own being crushed by his dominating opponent, and before he could pull away, Arturo wrapped his free hand around Gohan's neck pulling him closer to the Spaniard. Gohan was trapped. Too weak to fight out of the hold. His vision beginning to blur from the lack of oxygen. His arms started to limp. His head now resting on Arturo's shoulders with his eyes half open. The only thing he could do was hope that as the ref walks over to check if he was still conscious that he would see Arturo's dirty move and force him to break the hold or even better, disqualify him.

Arturo had Gohan right where he wanted him. With the help of his opponent’s gi (not in plain view), Arturo was well on his way to choking Gohan unconscious. At this point the two men were drenched with sweat as they were pressed together, with Gohan weakening in his crushing embrace. The Spaniard felt Gohan go limp in his arms and slump against his chest. Arturo was ecstatic as he felt victory was near. He kept up his gi-assisted front chokehold on Gohan and was thoroughly enjoying it at this point. The ref switched positions to check Gohan, raised his arm, and let go. Gohan’s arm dropped limply onto the canvass.

ONE!

While doing so, the ref noticed something off. He peered closer at Arturo’s right arm against Gohan’s neck and saw the Spaniard was holding something. The ref slipped his hand in there and realized Arturo was using Gohan’s torn gi as a foreign weapon! The ref began counting, only this time, he was telling Arturo to drop the hold. Arturo pushed it to the count of 4 and then got up. The Spaniard got into the ref’s face and proceeded to argue with him.

”Oh come on it’s a gi choke! Totally legal!”
“Not in this sport and not when you’ve torn it off his body to use it!”
“¡Joder, estas un pendejo, ref!”

The shouting match continued unabated and Arturo was thoroughly distracted

Gohan's vision slowly darkened. His head feeling heavier slipped from Arturo's shoulders onto the Spaniard's sweaty and chiseled chest. Though his opponent's firm and bare chest was a comfortable place to rest, he would have liked it better if he could breathe.

As the referee, checks Gohan if he was still conscious, the Saiyan was moments from falling completely unconscious. The crowd's reactions becoming distorted as his eyes were drawing to a close. Barely unable to feel the referee raise his hand, let alone feel it ever dropping onto the canvas. Arturo had succeeded, Gohan falls asleep from the choke.

... Fortunately for the Saiyan, the referee's attention had been shifted to his opponent. As Arturo pushes Gohan away to argue with the referee, Gohan hits the mat with enough force that it woke the rookie up. Gohan lifts his head, shakes it to clear some of the cobwebs, then proceeds to check his surroundings. He saw Arturo arguing with the referee and knew that this was his chance to grab the victory.

Gohan tears off the rest of his gi so that it reduces the risk of Arturo using it against him and he crawls over to the Spaniard and slips his hand between his legs and up around his thighs to try and attempt a roll up pin to the unsuspecting competitor.

Gohan was desperate. He has sustained more damage than Arturo and he needed to end the match while the Spaniard was distracted.
