Geun Haru vs. "Tigress" Tina Armstrong

Tina was hurting as she got up, and she knew she had to try something... anything really to try to get Geun under control. The tigress attempted to reach out and grab Geun by the arm twisting her torso to send her running towards the ropes! Tina had an idea that she hoped would work as if this was countered she was probably going to find herself in a very rough spot indeed.

Tina wanted to leap up and wrap her legs around Geun's head and fall backward hoping to send her crashing down to to the mat with a hurricanrana! Not the most complex plan but Tina hoped that Geun didn't see this one coming. If she did Tina was in trouble!

Just as she was about to get up, Geun was grabbed and sent toward the ropes. Expecting a lariat to come her way, one founding off she would throw a kick in Tina's direction but what the former champion actually planned made it miss altogether as she felt the other woman's legs clamp around her head. Already off balance from the kick, Tina's move made her look like a ragdoll as she crushed to the mat and tumbled graciously toward the corner.

Gasping from the impact she would get on one knee, she had to think fast on how to snatch control back from Tina or this match could end very quickly for her. For now, she tried to catch her breath, reading herself for what was to come.

Okay.... good. A good, clean hit. Tina knew that was a confidence builder for herself. Now she had to follow up. As much as she wanted to rush in and do something like a dropkick against the turnbuckle she knew that would backfire. Instead Tina got up and moved in looking to grapple with Geun in the corner. Tina wanted to keep her in place or push her back against the turnbuckle before attempting to soften up that abdomen with some fast, hard knee strikes! This was hardly flashy or anything ground breaking but Tina was going for effective. If simple things that worked were effective, so be it. She was determined to beat this rising star between these ropes tonight!

Standing back up, Geun expected to be met with one of the more flashy moves, in fact, she counted on it as it would be easier to counter but Tina was quick to show that she could be as deadly as she needed to be to win. The knees drilled down her body, making Geun gasp for air as she could just faintly taste iron in her mouth.

She was falling behind and she could not afford to be even a single step behind against a foe like that. More knees hit and she knew if she didn't act fast and hard catching up would be out of reach entirely. Rising her leg to block another one, Geun would put her hands behind Tina's neck, pulling her close for control and trying to push back away from the corner. If she got that far she would step back, hands still on Tina's neck as she pulled down and jumped up to deliver her signature knee strike - Facial Reconstruction in hopes of getting enough space to recover as she backed away, clutching her hurt midsection.

Tina thought she was going to be able to do more but Geun acted fast and grabbed Tina by the head. The tigress was too slow, caught by surprise as her face was crushed by Geun's knee strike! "AUGH!" Tina yelped as her head snapped back and she stumbled a step before falling down onto her back! She covered her face and kicked the mat in pain. She was in a daze after having been knocked silly bu that hard knee strike! She knew she bit her lip and was sucking on it as she covered her throbbing face in agony on the mat.

Geun's tactic worked but she still hang back for a few seconds. This fight has just started and it was already taking its toll, she could at least console herself that it seemed to be shared equally. The pain in her gut settled to a manageable level and she shook her head letting go of a heavy breath. She at first thought it would go down to stamina in the end but at the speed, both of them were taking hits, the damage would do one of them in before they ever run close to their limits, now it was down to make sure she would be the one doing more damage.

Walking over to Tina, who she hoped would still be recovering, Geun would grab both of her arms and pulled her off of the mat just slightly. Then she would rise her foot and try to deliver a series of rapid-fire stomps to the other woman's chest before finishing with a big one as she would let go of her opponent's arms, letting her hit the mat.

Things were only getting worse for Tina as she was yanked up a bit and stomped out! She took each stomp with a groaned before being sent back to the mat, cradling her chest and kicking the canvas in pain. Tina was struggling now and Geun was surging as the younger wrestler was taking it to the former champion at this early juncture in the matchup. Tina gasped and tried to get up but she knew Geun was probably already on the move again and she could only hope to be ready.

She managed to maintain control, more than in any other match she had, it felt like an actual achievement. Though she was certainly doing so would not get any easier any time soon especially seeing as Tina was already on her way up. Thinking she could still use her dizziness against her, Geun would attempt to send the Tigress to the ropes and follow with a lariat as soon as she bounced, hoping to get this fight back down to the ground.

Tina was pulled up and sent running to the ropes. She bounced off and saw Geun setting up for something. Tina had to put her down on her back. As Geun extended her arm Tina went low looking to crash into Geun with a spear! Tina wanted to take her down to the mat just as much, and once they crashed down Tina was looking to hammer her with a flurry of punches to the face. Tina wanted to get back on top and this seemed like the fastest way to do just that.

Geun hoped Tina would be too dazed to react in time, but she was wrong. Her opponent managed to dodge her attack completely, instead delivering her own powerful blow to Geun's stomach, sending her back to the ground and gasping for air. This wasn't all however as before she could get back up, Tina was already on top of her and though Geun would try to defend herself, the strikes would repeatedly pass her guard rocking her brain and leaving her in a daze as her arms were going more and more limp.
