When in doubt - Slug it out! Sakura vs Yang.

Sakura moved in for the finishing blow, the pinkette's fist descending downwards like Thor's hammer, Yang managed to push through the pain she was experiencing and roll out of the path of Sakura's fist.
"Ghhrh!" Sakura grunted in pain as her fist hit the floor with a loud thud which might've given Yang a good indication of what she had just avoided.
Sakura was only able to slightly slow her punch down before it impacted the mat, so what followed afterwards was her holding onto her sore wrist and hissing curses.
When Sakura heard sounds of movement, she looked up only to see Yang's fist nearing her face. She started pulling her face backwards but it was too late to dodge.

"Pfguah!" Sakura's face snapped to the side upon impact with saliva flying out from her mouth as Sakura's body drops onto her side and forearm. Sakura's free hand moves to her cheek and jaw. Feeling rocked, Sakura lifts herself to a half seated position, looking at the blonde in front of her. "Ugh... As annoying as you are..." Sakura would make a pause to take a breath. "I can admire your determination... What drives you on to push yourself like this? Or are you just a natural knucklehead?"
Sakura felt a bit too wobbly at the moment to attack immediately.

[Tiamat]

Yang knew what she just dodged, but she didn’t want to think about the lingering consequences of that blow landing. From the sounds of things, the punch was so bad it was going to hurt both of them. Yang even being in the worst position, still found some energy and sprung forward. Cracking Sakura right on the face as her body flew by.

Sakura didn’t even have to make a sound for Yang to know that her punch hurt. Despite being on her stomach, Yang was able to push herself up to her knees. Sakura was doing the same thing with her being in a seated position. Yang was more surprised that Sakura had more to say during this blood bath of a match. Annoying?…Some people like this stubbornness Yang responded as Sakura caught her breath. Sakura then came out with a backhanded compliment in the form of a question. Yang looked at her pink haired opponent confused, but she knew where Sakura was coming from. What drives me? The same thing that drives you… simple, I don’t want to lose. Yang said as she forced herself up on two feet. She could’ve rushed Sakura easily, but Yang respected Sakura enough to at least end this on her own two feet.

It was annoying, yes, but deep down Sakura appreciated that kind of stubbornness in an opponent. It makes it all the more thrilling to fight and all the more rewarding to defeat. It also makes her feel better in defeat knowing that her opponent gave it their all.

With this in mind, Sakura's facial expression turned into a pained smirk as she was slowly getting up after Yang, noticing and silently appreciating Yang's subtle show of respect to her by letting the pinkette stand up and get ready unopposed.
"Heh... Fine by me..." Sakura would raise her fists. "I hope you don't mind me being stubborn either, then."

Sakura would silently return the subtle show of respect by giving Yang a little bit of time to answer if she wants to and wait till Yang's ready judging from her eyes.
Once Sakura saw that the blonde was ready to settle this, she would step closer and open up with a high, wide slashing kick meant to take Yang's head off her shoulders. If her kick missed, Sakura would continue her spinning motion and follow up with a spinning elbow strike aimed for Yang's head.

Even after trying to kill each other this entire time, it was like Yang and Sakura finally found some mutual respect for each other. Not that it was going to stop them from punching each other’s face in. But at least this match didn’t turn into them being mortal enemies. Yang knew that Sakura felt the same way from that pained smirk. Sakura wasn’t dumb enough to not know that Yang let her stand. So Sakura would raise her fists and get to talking. Pft, by all means keep being stubborn Yang encouraged as she responded to Sakura.

Now back to the fighting, Yang was more hurt than she was letting on. Yang knew Sakura was hurt, but it was hard to gauge who had more damage on them. Sakura would come in swinging with a wide kick aiming towards Yang’s head. Yang would have the vision to see the kick and duck under the kick dodging it. Though thats what Sakura wanted, using her momentum to keep things going she would nail Yang with a elbow to the head. AGH! Yang grunted in pain as her head was blasted to the side, blood spewing from her mouth, she took a few steps back refusing to fall down. Now Yang’s back would be on the cage wall

Sakura's combat skill and experience was showing as despite the two women having worn each other down, Sakura's attacks still weren't sloppy and so the follow up elbow strike connected with the side of Yang's face, visibly rocking the woman. All of Sakura's battle instincts immediately screamed that this was it, it was the time to go for the kill.

And so Sakura did. With her daughter cheering her on full volume, the pinkette went all in, slugging the blonde in the ribs before sending a hook to her belly to double her over. Then she grabbed Yang by the back of her head and sent a brutal upwards knee into Yang's face to straighten her up just long enough for her finishing blow - a roundhouse kick that would sandwich Yang's face between her foot and the cage wall.
Sakura would keep her foot in that position, continuously pressing and pinning Yang's face to the cage wall while breathing heavily.
"You still there, barbie-girl..?" Sakura would ask and make a pause to take a breath before she would use her foot to grind Yang's face against the cage wall. "If you are, then you should give up for your own good." Sakura would say with a fatigued smirk. She hopes that the kick would knock Yang out, but her submitting would be the next best thing.

To say that Yang got rocked by that elbow was an understatement. It completely destroyed her equilibrium in that moment, worse of all Sakura wasn’t done there. Leaving Yang helpless to what was coming next. Sakura was coming in like a blood thirsty and desperate warrior. A dangerous combination for anyone, even more so for Yang.

Next came to blow to her ribs, AGH! this shook Yang as her body jolted to the side from the blow. Not only that Sakura followed up with a hook to Yang’s abs, knocking the air out of her body. Yang would let out a breathless yelp in pain as she doubled over, refusing to fall over. All of this didn’t stop Sakura from sending a knee that could’ve broken Yang’s chin. Bringing the girl right up for a killer roundhouse kick. One that upon landing made a resounding BANG! Yang’s eyes lost some life in them. It was hard to say whether or not she was unconscious or not. Yang would have been completely laid out if Sakura didn’t use her foot to keep Yang pinned against the wall. Yang’s body was partially leaning forward, adding more to Sakura’s foot being the one keeping her in place.

Yang easily could’ve been knocked out by all of that, but some part of her for some reason was still fighting. It wasn’t until she remembered why this fight even happened in the first place. Sakura hurt Ruby This woke up Yang from her small stint of unconsciousness. Yang didn’t hear what Sakura said to her, but that didn’t matter. Sakura was going to get her answer soon.

First fixing her body up, Yang grabbed onto Sakura’s ankle. Making damn sure that it would stay in place, this would ensure her next move would land guaranteed. Yang would use her free arm to strike the inside of Sakura’s knee with all of her strength. If this worked, it would be enough to hobble Sakura for a bit. Leaving Yang the chance to shake the cobwebs out of her head.

It really felt good crushing the blonde's body. The thrill of destroying a powerful opponent was overwhelming, but at the same time she was starting to feel a little bad about as she was looking back at how this thing started and she felt that it shouldn't have escalated to this extent.
So despite how arrogant it seemed, Sakura did indeed want Yang to give up for her own sake.

However, it soon turned out that the pinkette misjudged the situation as she suddenly felt Yang's arm grab onto her ankle and only a second later - Yang's other fist smashed into her knee with murderous intent. "Aaaaaeeghhnn!!!" Sakura screamed in surprise, horror and pain as she retracted her leg from Yang's face. At the time, Sakura wasn't fully aware that it was a fracture, but she could tell for sure that it would take a lot more than a good night's sleep to recover from that one.
That became clear when Sakura tried to support herself on that leg - it felt weak and it was Incredibly painful to do.
Right now, Sakura would be limping and in great pain, bending just enough so that her hand could hold onto her knee for the time being while she's moaning in pain. "Hnnnghhh!"

"Mama!" Her daughter would shout out, making her way to the cage and holding tight onto the cage wall, her face worried and tears start rolling down her face as she sees her mother's pained face, unable to muster any other words.

Yang didn’t know when it happened, but somewhere during this fight Yang forgot why she was fighting. It was like the thrill of the fight took over any sensible reason she had. Yang was in this fight because this pinked haired bully decided to beat up on her sister! Admittedly more often than not Yang needs only like three punches to solve that issue. Sakura though proved to be a bit more durable and packed a punch to boot. What Sakura didn’t account for was Yang’s very volatile anger.

Sakura was left screaming in pain as she held her knee in pain. Yang was at the point where she just didn’t care anymore. Everything coming to Sakura right now was what she deserved for hurting Ruby. Yang would spit the blood out of her mouth, letting Sakura sort herself out. But it was clear as day that Sakura was hurt, she could barely stand on her leg. Don’t think thats all you are walking away with Yang said threateningly, running up to Sakura and hoping to nail her with a knee to her stomach. Hoping to absolutely devastate her opponents abs. Following this, Yang would send a rocketing punch landing squarely on the middle of Sakura’s face.

If this worked, Yang was nice enough to let Sakura fall. Not all the way though, she would grab Sakura’s hair which would keep the woman from falling. Adding insult to injury, Yang would drag Sakura over to her daughter and slam Sakura’s face against the cage wall where Sarada is. Mama’s not looking to good right now is she? Yang said as she gestured toward Sakura’s face

A pained grimace seemed to have found permanent residence on Sakura's face. Her body was battered, but her attention currently was on her fucked up leg. She could barely used that leg to stand while shaking from pain and strain in doing so. It was really bad.

Due to this leg, Sakura's chances of victory proceeded to crash faster than the stock market as the angry blonde charged at the pinkette. Acting on instinct, Sakura tried to pivot to the side, but the leg shot up a jolt of pain that immediately froze Sakura in place.
In desperation, Sakura put up her arms in front of her body, but it was too late as Yang's knee already slid below her arms and impacted Sakura's precious belly with a sickening thud. Saliva and an exhale shot out from Sakura's open mount. The force of the blow rocked the kunoichi's body.
"Ghnaah!" Sakura gasped as the blow forced her to step back... On her hurt leg.
But then before any more gasps could come out, Yang shut her up with a straight punch to her pained, yet pretty face.
"Ghuagh!" Blood spilled as Sakura's whole body turned 180 degrees from the blow after which Sakura fell.
"Ghyyah!" Sakura screamed out as her falling motion was stopped by Yang grabbing her by her hair.
Sakura's hands shot up to grasp Yang's arm, but by the time she did, her face was pushed very unpleasantly against the cage wall. To add insult to injury - it was right next to her daughter who was in tears, but now with anger starting to build up as well. "Let her go! Or you'll be sorry!" Sarada yelled, not entirely understanding what she herself was saying.

Sarada wasn't the only way with their anger increasing. Seeing and hearing her daughter cry because of Yang just rubbed Sakura the wrong way. It made Sakura momentarily forget her own pain, the desire to to stop Sarada's pain by any means necessary taking its place, Sakura would throw her right elbow backwards in hopes to hit something - face, body, breast, anything...
If she wasn't stopped, she'd do it again.

To say Yang’s eyes were red in anger, it was like some optical illusion. Some people in the audience could have sworn that Yang’s eyes were red. Others saw them as the normal purple. That was just a small show of Yang’s anger in this brutal match. Though the real show of Yang’s anger was Sakura. Who had looked so much better before this match had started.

Sakura’s leg injury was a big part on this. Sakura was literally having a hard time standing on her own legs. Not that Yang cared, this is what Sakura deserved. Yang was just going to deliver. The knee before landed perfectly, Yang felt her knee sink into Sakura’s abs. Doubling down on that Sakura’s face was blown to the side making a full 180. Now at this point Yang could care less about the optics. Villain or hero didn’t really matter to the woman at this point. So jamming Sakura’s face against the cage wall was just a touch. The cherry on top was Sakura’s daughter being in the perfect spot. Seeing her mama being brutalized in such a manner is probably making the worst of memories for the girl. Still Yang could hammer in the point of what Sakura did to Ruby.

As if not giving up was the theme of the match. Even in her horrible position, Sakura still fought back looking to hit elbows backwards at Yang. Aiming for anything really. The elbows would find 2 initial marks. Yang’s body and her breast. The first one didn’t do much, but the second blow made the blonde wince a bit. God when will you learn! Yang let out as she pulled Sakura’s face back and slammed it against the cage wall once again. This was just to pacify Sakura even if a little bit.

The next part of this would have Yang prop Sakura up and put her back against the same cage wall. Yang would start to unload on Sakura, as if she were a personal punching bag. Starting the Yangslaughter, Yang through haymakers back to back at Sakura’s unguarded face. Expecting to completely blow the woman’s face up. Finishing things up with a sickening body blow, one that Yang would sink her fist in deep to get into her innards. Following this Yang would keep the slaughter going!
