Oscar Orelash VS. Kelani Alex: Growing as a person

Oscar's confident grin was wiped right off his face as the world suddenly turned upside down, letting out a surprised yelp as he was successfully pulled over onto his shoulders! The Barbarian Prince blinked his eyes in surprise as the ref slapped the canvas before gritting his teeth and bucking out of the hold just before the second count! When he was free, Oscar would roll away from Alex to get some breathing room as he got up on one knee.

Oscar would get up back to his feet, rolling his shoulders as he got his arms ready and cautiously moved his way over towards Alex. He didn't know what to expect from the young man, but suspected he would see a new strategy being deployed from his opponent soon- and the Barbarian Prince had no interest in being caught off guard.

"Fancy trick you pulled there- but it won't work on me twice!"

Oscar chuckled as he tried to get a feel out of his foe from some friendly banter, thinking he could try and bait his opponent out into attacking sooner!

Oscar chuckled at Alex's observation of him.

"Heh. I'm surprised you find that disappointing!"

When Alex attempted his dropkick, Oscar was ready! The big barbarian would twist his body out of the way before attempting to grab onto Alex's legs. If all went to plan, Oscar would attempt to run with a counter trick he worked out with Antonia A. Aunt herself and take Alex for a ride in a giant's swing. Alex might find himself spinning in circles a couple of times before being thrown toward a turnbuckle if he didn't find a way to escape!

When Alex grabbed the ropes, his legs would slip out of Oscar's grip and Oscar would take a respectful step back. A rope break was still a rope break- and the Barbarian Prince was set on honoring the rules.

Oscar would narrow his eyes as he slowly circled Alex- growing curious as what his opponent could be thinking in that head of his. Soon enough, however, Oscar would make the next move and lunge forward- looking to attempt to grapple with the smaller opponent!

Oscar gasped as Alex managed to dodge him and land a solid blow to his leg- the loud CLAP of skin hitting skin echoing through the arena as the Barbarian Prince was left kneeling and vulnerable from the blow. It was the opening Alex needed to spring up and execute a leg drop directly on Oscar’s head! The Barbarian Prince would crash into the canvas with a groan, but Akex's sluggish time to flip him over and go for the pin gave the rookie heavyweight more than enough time to recover as he managed to kick out after the first count!

Assuming nothing else happened next, Oscar would try and roll away from Alex to get some breathing room!

Alex would stomp on Oscar's abs as he was trying to get back up, making him flop back down onto the canvas and start all over with a grunt! The Barbarian Prince would look up to see his opponent getting set up on the turnbuckle. Obviously to Oscar, this wasn't exactly a good sign- but given how Alex was acting, the young lion believed he had a chance to take advantage of Alex's overconfidence. Oscar rolled his shoulders and locked eyes with Alex as he pushed to his feet and started heading towards his foe- keeping his mind sharp for whatever it was Alex was looking to pull!

Oscar paid very close attention to Akex's body language as his opponent started to make his move. The leg muscles were tightening up and Alex's body was tilting back- seeing a kick come his way, Oscar would quickly side step out of the way of the foot stomp! If he was successful, Oscar would attempt to step onto the second rope and leap down towards his opponent with his legs out- looking to hit a hopefully down Akex with a big leg drop!

Oscar smiled as his counter attack worked with flying colors- making a mental note to try and use that in future matches when he could. Turning his focus to the crumpled Alex, Oscar would get back to his feet and attempt to grab his opponents leg before dragging him back to the middle of the ring.

"So- you still think I'm not giving it my all?"

Oscar smirked a little as he attempted to haul Alex up by his arms, tucking the man between Oscar's thighs. If all went according to plan- or of Alex didn't do something fast- Oscar would try to lift Alex up over his shoulders and powerbomb the young man right into the canvas!

Oscar's cranium would be faced with a barrage of blows from Alex struck back with a second wind! The Barbarian Prince staggered back into a corner poster as Alex drilled blow after blow into his skull. When it stopped, there was a dazed look in Oscar's eyes... but only for a few moments. Going from glazed over to glaring, Oscar defiantly refused to succum to Akex's attack and stepped up backward onto the second set of ropes. The crowd roared and cheered at the display of heart being shown by Oscar as he (assuming everything went to plan) lept off the ropes and tried to execute an avalanche powerbomb off the second rope!!
