Nico Mendez vs Renatta Rumble - Hardcore Rumble

It was a haphazard escape plan, one that had not only managed to succeed, but had actually managed to inflict a little damage. After Renatta's boot had seized it's barrage, the Jamaican was greeted with the sight of red on her opponent's lip; a view that would leave the brawler with a satisfied smirk. "And there'll be plenty more where that came from" Renatta hissed.

Unfortunately, she wouldn't have any time to act on her words. Nico was already on her once again, swiveling around her prone body before thrusting her knee into Renatta's spine. The brawler let out a loud wail as the woman's limb dug deeper and deeper into the small of her back, accentuated even further by the iron-tight grip Nico's arm quickly took around her neck. It was a move Renatta instantly recognized, one that she had seen many wrestlers fall prey to in the ring.

She would not be one of them.

Renatta growled and groaned with equal parts fury and pain. Nico's advice was falling on deaf ears - no way was she going to give in this early! Still, for the first few seconds, there was nothing Renatta could do about it but wince and snarl. Her oxygen supply was rapidly beginning to cut off, and that wasn't even mentioning the mounting pressure threatening to pop something in her back.

But with a loud war cry, Renatta eventually steadied herself, using only one hand for balance against the mat while the other quickly formed a fist. She flailed her fist up and behind her, aiming her knuckles into the exposed and unguarded face of her opponent! What she lacked in precision, she made up for in power, sending each punch rocketing behind her as many times as it would take to make Nico reconsider her hold!

Nico had gripped her opponent like a serpent, torquing the body and leaving her in a Dragon Clutch for the extra pain, a sort of revenge for the blood that was dripping from her lips..

A small smirk was growing on her face as Nico began to increase the pressure. The last hold she had let go, and Renatta was trying to make it the same.. by lashing out at Nico with extraordinary strength! She’d grit her teeth, feeling the powerful opponent do her best to break free! But.. Nico was determined too this time. Each blow that struck hit her body, leaving red marks and bruises.. but..

“Your words drip of venom.. do I really infuriate you that much?”

She queried, before snarling gently. She was preparing herself for a counter! Not releasing the grip, Nico pulled her knee back.. and drove it into the spine of her opponents back with a powerful force! Over and over she repeated this painful submission hold, slamming her knee against her spine and torquing the submission back to grant her opponent even MORE pain!

As satisfying as it felt to repeatedly pound her opponent's face with her fists, Renatta's precarious position didn't leave her much room to smile about it. But If her opponent's groans and grunts were anything to go by, she was landing some pretty heavy shots. So why wasn't this damn rookie letting go!? "HUUUAGH!" Renatta let out a scream as Nico's knee repeatedly slammed into her spine, intensifying the pain of the Dragon Clutch hold. She felt like her back was about to snap in half, but she refused to give in.

For a supposed rookie, Nico was quickly putting Renatta through the wringer. Their hardcore bout had just begun, and already Renatta knew she was facing significant injury if she subjected herself to this hold for much longer. The power in her fists slowly began to wither away, as were her options. Getting out of this hold would require a true feat of strength. A feat that would require every last morsel of strength she had left.

"You want... my advice? Hang on - GRRRGH!" Renatta growled as she set her body in action. Her arms pushed up against the mat, elevating their bodies as her legs slowly crawled out from under her. It took tremendous effort, but slowly Renatta worked her way up to a kneeling position, then placed one foot flat against the mat before pushing off it to pop her way back onto her feet.

If Renatta was successful, than she would be far from done with the girl still clinging onto her back. Using what energy she had, Renatta made a running start for the farthest corner. She picked up speed with every stride, gripping onto her opponent's arms to make sure the rookie would have no chance to bail. Once she was within a few feet of the corner, Renatta threw Nico's weight forward and tucked into a roll, thus bucking her opponent straight into the turnbuckle with a cannonball!

This time, Nico was thrown for a loop. She’d have everything done right, the choke, perfect.. the positioning, perfect.. so why was Renatta still rising? It was true Nico was no heavyweight, but she was fairly sure she’d weight a bit more than the average opponent of someone Renatta’s size.. she’d tighten her grip, but she was more than a little confused when Renatta told her to hang on.

.. oh, she thought. Oh, she was going to bash her against the post . That was fine, Nico had planned for that. She could just release her for a bit, sit up on the pole and get her into a thigh choke and follow up with a hurricanara, keeping her string of hyper offence going! But.. “Whoah!!?” leaked out, her eyes widening in alarm, as she was yeeted.

Admittedly, yeeted was a crude word to describe it. Nico was flipped over Renatta’s shoulders, and absolutely slammed against the turnbuckle, her back bashing against the pillar, her head banging against the canvas as she lay upside down, her legs hanging from the top, a small groan escaping her lips..

“A.. ow..”

THIS time she was properly dazed, her hands twitching and her head swimming, leaving her in an extremely vulnerable position that the crowd was just eating up, the cheers rising to a crescendo!

The whole ring felt like the epicenter of an earthquake as the combined mass of their bodies came tumbling into the corner with a resounding crash. Luckily, Renatta had the good fortune of landing on top of Nico, using her as a cushion to soften the blow. Still, Renatta came out of the counter slightly dazed and a little wobbly, but undoubtedly better off than her opponent. She slumped over to her side, shaking off the cobwebs with a few nods, before her vision slowly came back into focus with the welcome sight of her rattled opponent in the corner.

A wide grin spread on Renatta's face, ear to ear, as she slowly worked her way up to her feet and rubbed her still sore throat. "What? You thought you could take me down with ya little choke? Are ya mad, girl!?" The incensed Jamaican spat down at her slumped-over opponent, before unleashing a brutal round of mudhole stomps into Nico's midsection, each one punctuated with growing ferocity. Renatta let out one last battle cry as she sunk in her final stomp, taking a few steps back to admire her handiwork.

With her opponent thoroughly out of commission, Renatta figured it was time to bring this match to the next level. She flexed her muscles to the crowd, nodding her head at their approval as she slowly made her way to the edge of the ring. Dipping between the ropes, Renatta stepped out onto the apron before hopping onto the outside cement. She wasted no time lifting the apron skirt up, searching blindly with her hands as she slowly began to dig weapon after weapon out from underneath the ring. A metal chair, kendo stick, hell, even a garbage can! Renatta could sense there was still more under there, but for now, this was plenty. She threw each of the objects one by one into the ring, but kept the metal folding chair in hand as she herself reentered the ring.

If Nico was still dazed in the corner, then Renatta would teeter her way right in front of her, folding furniture held high above her head. "You wanted hardcore, right girl? I'll give ya hardcore!" Renatta boomed as she carefully took aim and prepared to smash the chair right into Nico's upside-down face!

Dazed and downed on the corner, Nico needed a bit to bring herself back to her senses. However, her opponent was unlikely to let her get any sort of respite! The raven haired woman groaned in pain with each stomp that dug into her pale midsection, crushing against her slim waist that was bound to leave merciless bruises after the match was done!

Left without any witty retorts, she slumped over on her back, clutching her stomach in pain. Her head was stinging, and her very first match was turning out to be nothing but hell! And yet.. Nico’s vision was starting to clear, a sense of dread looming over her as the crowd cheered for Renatta! With a clang and a thunk, a metal can and a kendo stick landed in the ring, leading to her eyes widening and her heart skipping a beat as she saw Renatta approaching. She’d groan, lifting her hand up.. ”.. n-no..”

She wasn’t stopping. Why would she? It was something both had signed up for, and Nico thought she had been ready.. but.. as she saw Renatta taking aim, her eyes widened, her instincts kicked into gear and all she knew.. she did not want to be hit with the metal chair. “NO!!” She screamed, swinging her body to the side just as the chair went down, missing her entirely! Nico’d gasp, but just as quickly pressed her hands to the ground and spun around, swinging her leg and digging a sharp kick right into the back of Renatta’s knee! It wasn’t a desperate kick either, Nico had retained her wits about her.. and the precise strike dug into her leg mercilessly!

Regardless of the outcome, she’d grit her teeth and give her a steely look, but by her earlier actions.. it was evident Nico hadn’t completely gotten over her inner fears of hardcore matches!

The whole arena let out a collective gasp as the Jamaican brawler held the steel implement high above her head with murderous intent, mere seconds away from decimating the center of her opponent's face with it. It was a cruel thing to do to the debutante, but then again, a hardcore match was far from child's play. Nico had already shown that she was capable of putting up quite the fight, and as far as Renatta was concerned, that also meant the woman was capable of taking it too.

The chair soared down soon after, its shiny reflective surface headed for the soft facial features of the Texan. Imagine Renatta's surprise when, rather than the familiar clang of steel on flesh, the only sound that could be heard was the unrewarding ring of metal on canvas. Nico had dodged the attack at the last second, the end of the folding chair only managing to clip the ends of the cowgirl's hair as she deftly rolled away!

Renatta let out a frustrated and pained wince as a searing sensation suddenly shot up through her knee and into the rest of her leg. Not only had her opponent managed to save herself from the previous attack, but she had also managed to land a counterattack as well! Renatta buckled under the weight of the kick, her leg almost giving out entirely, saved only by the fact that she was using the metal chair as a crutch to stay upright on her feet. Meanwhile, her eyes stayed fixed on Nico, tracking the girl as she made her retreat.

"What's the matter, girl? Yah not scared... are ya?" Renatta hissed in a mocking voice. The sudden cry from Nico as the metal chair approached her face was not lost on Renatta. She had picked up on that hint of hesitation in her opponent's voice, that twinge of fear that shone in her blue eyes. While Nico did her best to put on a defiant gaze, there was no fooling the Jamaican. Her opponent was worried, and why wouldn't she be? This was her first match after all, and a hardcore one at that. But that didn't mean Renatta was going to show her any clemency, quite the opposite in fact. Renatta was going to test just how resourceful her opponent really was!

With yet another fierce roar, Renatta would take aim and attempt to throw the metal chair at Nico's head from across the ring! Regardless of whether it hit or not, the brawler would soon be in hot pursuit, hoping Nico would be distracted enough for her to deliver a powerful running dropkick into her chest!

As Nico rolled away, miraculously unscathed.. she’d be able to hear the blood pounding in her ears. A small groan escaped her lips, as she’d deliver a powerful kick that had her reeling, but wasnt enough to topple Renatta. Springing up to her feet, she would clasp the ropes and stand to her feet, not meeting her eyes..

“N-no.. well.. yes, truthfully. But if you AREN’T afraid of having a metal chair cave your skull in, you need to get yourself checked!”

At least she was honest. Nico wasn’t denying her fear, as the raven haired female suddenly found the chair being flung at her! She’d yelp, that being a rather unexpected turn of events for her as she’d outstretch her arms.. and surprisingly, catch it in her arms. To her credit, she seemed pretty surprised too, as she’d clutch it to her chest, lookin down in disbelief.. and THEN she got dropkicked.

The brutal kick landed on the chair, knocking it back into her and flooring the Texan! She’d grunt in pain, her body down on the canvas AGAIN, the metal of the chair having knocked up against her face to leave her dazed! She’d lean against the ropes, rubbing her chin with a light groan..

“.. fuck..”

Renatta watched with satisfaction as Nico hit the canvas after her dropkick, tumbling hard before coming to a standstill near the ropes. The rookie was clearly in pain, clutching her face and groaning. Renatta wasted no time, rolling back onto her feet and moving in quickly to capitalize on her advantage. She reached down to grab Nico by the hair and pulled her up to a standing position and away from the ropes, grinning maliciously as she did so.

The metal chair, though it fell to the mat with a clang, was far from out of the picture. Renatta kicked it towards the center of the ring, flat side up, all its metal edges glinting and dangerous. She had plans for it, and her focus was solely on making Nico more familiar with it.

Wrapping her arms around Nico's waist, Renatta attempted to hoist her up in a single fluid motion and flip her upside down. Her thighs clamped together around Nico's head, ensnaring her in an inverted headscissor! With a mighty heave, Renatta lifted Nico even higher, holding her upside down and vertical in the air, a feat that if successful, would induced a round of cheers as the Jamaican showcased her impressive strength!

"Ya know Nico, I almost feel a little bad for you, being trapped in this here ring with me," Renatta taunted, savoring the moment as she carried Nico to the center of the ring, positioning her above the scary steel chair. "Why don't I make ya a little more comfortable? Say... with a little taste of home!" Renatta would give her opponent little time to mull over what she meant, as she would soon attempt to send Nico spiraling downwards headfirst into the steel chair with a mighty Texas Piledriver!

The tall and lanky raven haired woman was still reeling from shock due to the solid kick to her head, so it came as little surprise that she offered little resistance when her hair was gripped and she was forced to stand up! A slight grunt escaped her lips, but suddenly.. up became down, and she was flipped upside down with her head facing the canvas, buried between Renatta’s muscular thighs..!

“Mm..?”

A bit dazed, she’d feel herself moving forwards, her pale legs lying limply against her opponent’s shoulders.. and then suddenly, she was dropped down into something that was certainly NOT canvas! A shriek of pain sounded out, as her head bashed against the steel chair, her body jolting and going limp! Tiny drops of blood stained the chair red, her arms splayed to the side as she barely registered the rather ironic way she had been brought down..

“.. ah-.. fuck.. fuck-that hurts..”

She was biting on her lip to alleviate it. Blood spilt, but the ever rational Nico remembered that forehead wounds tend to have the most blood for the least damage! So theoretically.. she should.. be fine..

.. and she didn’t wanna lose in such a pathetic way! Her thighs suddenly snared around Renatta’s neck, like a steel trap bearing around her throat and aiming to choke her muscular opponent out!
