"Amazon" Alaina Sanders-Haines (C) Vs. Thereisa Neidermeyer

Alaina was down and the moonsault from a standing position kept her there! "Ugh!" Alaina groaned as she was down on the mat and Thereisa showed off her speed. Before Alaina could react Thereisa sailed down upon Alaina with a second rope moonsault crushing the mid-section of the amazon! "ARGH!" Alaina rubbed her torso and kicked the mat in pain twice when Thereisa completed the trifecta sailing down from the top rope crushing Alaina under a top rope moonsault! "AAAAHHHHHHHHHH!" Alaina howled as she kicked the mat weakly in pain again. The champion was down and reeling!

Theresa would slam her hands into the canvas after landing her third moonsault. She was going to pull out all of the stops and throw everything at Alaina to take the belt off of her, including the kitchen sink if it comes to that point, as she would drag her opponent over to the corner turnbuckle and give her a stomp to the head to keep her down for what she has planned.

Theresa would climb to the top rope and hold her hand out as if she were lining up the dive she had planned onto her opponent, taking a deep breath to settle herself before jumping into the air and doing a corkscrew spin before coming down and slamming her elbow right into Alaina's stomach.

The assault kept coming as Alaina was dragged and stomped, kicking the mat once in pain as she gasped for breath. The amazon was down and seemingly out as the challenger was up on the turnbuckle again. Alaina couldn't move and she saw the elbow drop coming unable to do anything about it! "AAAAHHHHHHHHHHHH!" Alaina howled in agony as her torso felt completely destroyed by this onslaught. She raised her right leg up weakly kicking the mat twice before being totally laid out flat on her back wondering how Thereisa was doing all this after the hot start Alaina had.

"One more. This is not enough. I need more to keep her down for good." Thereisa thinks to herself after landing that corkscrew elbow off the top rope. But she knows that that is just a warmup compared to the offense she knows is going to take to take the championship away from Alaina, the one woman who has stood in her way... the only one she would trust at her back in a fight.

Slapping the canvas to refocus herself, Thereisa would reach down and drag her opponent to her feet. Before whipping her into the ring ropes, she is planning on going for her finisher—the one move she hasn't been able to land against the Amazon at all as Thereisa would jump on the rebound and land on her opponent's shoulders, planning to free fall backwards for the Frankensteiner.

Alaina was dazed and seemingly out of it as Thereisa pulled her up and was setting up something. Alaina knew what was coming, and she had to brace herself. Alaina felt Thereisa jump up and wrap her legs around her in frankensteiner position and Alaina shoot her arms up to grab onto Thereisa to prevent her from leaning. Instead Alaina let out a howl and spun Thereisa around as she was on Alaina's shoulders but now facing in perfect position for the vengeful amazon to lift and throw forward to counter one finisher into another as she tried to amabomb Thereisa onto... and through the canvas giving this her all!

Thereisa knew if she landed her move, it would be over. The one move in her playbook that has won her so many matches is also the one that has failed her so many times when it came to trying to land it against Alaina. 

Maybe it was stubborn pride on her part to try and force it... But Thereisa always knew that she lives and dies by her finisher, the move that she made infamous during the era that she ruled with an iron fist. 

As she started her free fall... her opponent was able to stop her before letting out a howl, and in a show of strength spun and slammed her with the Amabomb. The impact and force of the move caused the canvas to give way... Leaving a hole in the ring that left Thereisa dazed and concussed, the ref runs over, peering into the hole to check to see if the body women are alright.

Alaina had only ever had this happen once and that was early on in her career in a shoddy old ring... this was something unexpected! She fell on top of Thereisa and wasn't any worse off but she knew that the biggest amabomb she ever delivered had to have done a number on Thereisa. Alaina staggered up and pulled Thereisa up as the official was there, struggling to lift the bigger woman up and onto the canvas so everyone could see the pin and the official could count.

Once they were back in sight even if the canvas was slanted towards the newly created hole Alaina would pin Thereisa and hook a leg to go for the pin while breathing heavily, her own aching body clearly in a bad way.

The ref would ring the bell as the crowd is still on their feet seeing a replay from the Amabomb that broke the ring on the big screen, medics come down rushing to the ring, and crawl inside to come to check on Thereisa... Even Ana slides inside giving Alaina a small glare before checking on her mother figure.

Coming too slowly to blurry images in front of her eyes, the older woman would try to move but is being held down by medics who are trying to put her on a stretcher to get her looked at... But Thereisa is too prideful for that as she shoves the medics away and with Ana's help is led out of the ring and up the ramp.

Her chance to get the title ends in Failure again and with the ringing of her head and the wet feeling on the back of her head, most likely another cut from the canvas giving way... Thereisa has that doubt that her time may have come and gone when it comes to reclaiming what is hers.

Alaina held her arms up and posed, stepping out of the ring so Ana and the medics could check on Thereisa. Alaina knew she had to hit hard to keep her down but that amabomb would keep a dozen women down the way it landed. The champion held the title belt up high and strut around posing and having defended her LAW Heavyweight Championship once more. She did keep looking back to Thereisa but knew that the prideful woman would want some distance for now. Later Alaina would reach out and speak to her. For now though the victorious defending champion was making her mark and showing that even at her age with all the wear-and-tear on her body she was still able to go hard night in and night out.
