Phoebe was still trying to climb out of the opening/middle part of the card. For now, she was a reliable hand to have money with both newer and older people in the company alike...though ultimately she, like a lot of other women in the company, wanted a shot at the title in her division.
Despite that, LAW has been putting her up against plenty of middleweights so far. Today was no different, as she was fighting one Serena Kay Thomas, a lady who broke into wrestling from lewd bedroom wrestling, which seemed a natural progression. That obviously didn't mean that she should've underestimated the woman, but had to be careful around a potential smother, she thought.
As she mulled over the details as she got a knock on the door of the locker room, the worker telling her it was time for her entrance. Spoiler

Phoebe's theme played as she drove down the entrance ramp, getting it down the ramp, and drove around the ring, parking it successfully at the commentary desk. From there, Phoebe would hope onto the ring apron, then onto the top rope, jumping and flipping off it as she landed in an impressive superhero like manner, rising and crossing her arm over her chest, before her music came to a stop. She took off her coat, scarf and mask, leaving them outside, doing last second stretches as she awaited her rival's arrival...

Back from the backstage Serena was watching her rival's over the top entrance. The woman showed great physical skills in it, but Serena couldn't help but keep looking at what she thought was a very over the top act. The suit was pretty good when she removed all the cape and mask, and that Phoebe Justice looked good. Serena sighed in frustration remembering that she wouldn't get to touch that woman, not at least in an exciting way.
The manager L.A.W had assigned to Serena had booked her for a standard match, no lewds allowed. It was a logical step since she just joined the league and the management was testing their new addition, but Serena didn't like the idea. Frustrated at the Siren's thick head, the manager explained that matches like those could help and build a feud that could develop in any way possible, even a lewd one. That was a silver lining at least.
As she appeared on the ramp and started her walk towards the ring Serena got some good reactions from the crowd. That wasn't her debut and it showed now that people and L.A.W fans started to recognize her. She would throw a couple winks to the people who stood closer to her without losing her confident look. When she got between the ropes Serena took her time and exaggerated the motion so her body was highlighted and when she reached the center of the ring she took her jacket off in a dramatic movement that got a round of cheers and applause from the crowd. After giving her jacket to an off-ring assisstant, Serena finally centered her attention on her rival. "Hey there, good looking? What's with the Power Ranger appearance?" Siren Serena

Phoebe couldn’t help but find more than a few women in LAW quite attractive. Although she did a bit of research on Serena, seeing her in person actually made her cheeks blush. She liked the woman’s clothing style…likely because they highlighted the woman’s rear, legs, and chest. That wasn’t to mention her face and flowing blonde hair. Needless to say, Phoebe found Serena Thomas to be quite hot…and that showed on her face, her cheeks blushing as Serena entered the ring.
Once the blonde took off her jacket and addressed Phoebe, the Detective took the compliment and tease head on: ”Because I kick butt as good as them…even as sexy as yours…”, Phoebe would say, her blush deepening, slightly embarrassed with her comeback.
The ref would confirm that Phoebe was ready, and do the same to Serena, getting ready to start the match…
Serena stood there gazing at her rival. She had to admit Phoebe had a pretty well toned body, and her attire choice highlighted her slender figure while leaving enough to the imagination for her to fill the gaps and guess what should definitely be a hot body. Of course she wouldn’t go all praise and tease from the very beginning of the match, but she always liked having a hot rival. Phoebe, on the other hand, decided to engage in some flirty remarks, all blushing while flattering Serena about her body.
The Siren couldn’t help but chuckle at Phoebe. “Well aren’t you a flirt? Shame this isn’t that kind of match, buuut we can always get some private action when I’m done with you.” When the referee checked both wresters the bell rang and the match started. Serena didn’t want to leave Phoebe any time to take initiative, so she would quickly rush forwards and try getting a couple knife chops at her rival’s upper chest area.
Phoebe blushed...both at her rival's words and her gaze, as she could tell Serena was ogling her. She stayed quiet...at least for now. She had to fight with Serena in just a few seconds. They would have time for flirty...and potentially more, after their match.
With the bell ringing, Serena would quickly approach Phoebe, delivering a hard Knife Edge Chop to her chest!
"AUGH!"
As Serena's arm wound up for another attack, Phoebe would try and get her leg up, trying to nail it at the side of the blonde's body!
Seeing her words and actions effects on rivals was something Serena relished on. Despite her looks and flirty comment from before, the slightest mention to something more risqué happening made Phoebe blush, and Serena noticed that. It gave the blonde some insight on a weakness she could exploit.
When the match started Serena was first to start with a couple strikes, but Phoebe wouldn’t be shy about it and instead of getting open for a follow up she quickly used her body’s inertia to get a pretty decent kick at Serena’s side. “Tch!” Serene repressed a groan of protest while defiantly looking at her rival. She wanted to taunt Phoebe, to see if she could provoke her to throw another kick like that so Serena could catch her leg in the air and counter the move, but it was a wild guess for the blonde.
Maybe Phoebe was still awkward about LAW's lewder sides, but when the bell rang, she was completely in the zone, fully committed to the task ahead of her: whooping Serena's ass.
As her kick connected, Serena would goad her to attack further...with Phoebe taking the bait! However as she went for another kick like this, her leg was caught at the blonde's side!
"Ah!"
Phoebe tried to think as quickly as possible, using her grounded leg to hope off the floor and twisting in the blonde's grip. If Serena didn't act fast, the Detective would swing her free leg into her head for an Enzuigiri!
Serena's approach and strategy proved to have some solid foundations when the blonde managed to provoke a new kick coming from Phoebe and the woman's leg was instantly caught by the blonde. "Gotcha." From there the only thing the Siren had to do was to topple her rival by messing with her only remaining leg.
However, there was something Serena didn't take into account. After a couple quick hops to test the waters, Phoebe would take a bigger leap to throw her free leg at the Siren's head in a powerful and out of nowhere enzugiri that connected against the side of Serena's head! "Ugh!" The blonde wouldn't admit it in the middle of a match like that but Phoebe had just achieved a pretty good hit while looking good and resourceful and the crowd approved in surprise. In the meanwhile, Serena went on one knee, releasing her rival's leg and caring the side of her face with one leg, open for the moment.
With Phoebe successfully stunning Serena, managing to barely avoid her counter-attack just in time, the Detective would quickly approach the blonde, wrapping her arm around her head while she was on her knee...
...before swiftly dropping onto her back, trying to drill her opponent's head into the canvas for a Snap DDT! Spoiler
Serena knew that the enzugiri movement wasn't a combo finishing move but a setting one. The flashy kick was just but a strike aimed at getting the rival dazed and weakened for enough time the wrestler could come up with something. The blonde knew all that pretty well, so the moment an arm started wrapping around her neck, from the position alone Serena could guess what was coming.
With the snap DDT move, Serena's head impacted against the mat taking the blunt force of the move. After that the blonde's body would sprawl on the mat. The Siren had been caught well and now she definitelly needed some time to recover as she tried to get her breathing back to normal and make everything stop spinning inside her head. She was pretty open and she knew it, but she was in no position from which she could get up.
