A Gale Storm Over Ireland: Moira Kilgannon vs. Karen Gale (D)

Karen kicked out at the last possible second. Moira's face wore an expression of disbelief. The two women lay there breathing heavily. Moira pressed her forehead against Karen's "STAY. DOWN.". She grabbed Karen and went to pull her to her feet to set up a powerbomb.

Karen was breathing hard after narrowly kicking out from the pinfall attempt. Her head was still dizzy from those repeated blows to her skull; Moira was an absolutely brutal brawler, and it showed with just how powerful her strikes were. Forcing one eye open as she breathed hard, she saw Moira leaning in close...forehead to forehead, almost close enough to kiss....and tell her, in no uncertain terms, to stay down.

And then Karen was being grabbed and pulled up to her feet. Next thing Karen knew, her white haird head was tucked between Moira's powerful legs. Realizing what was coming, Karen grimaced, and balled a fist, before shooting one, two punches up into Moira's midsection, hoping to convince her to let go!

Moira pulled Karen to her feet and placed the Maori's head between her legs. Before Moira could wrap her arms around her opponent's torso, Karen whacked Moira in the stomach with a pair of sharp punches. Moira cried out in pain and doubled over, letting go of Karen.

Karen was breathing hard as she narrowly managed to avoid Moira's piledriver. Her well timed punches had been enough to force Moira back, to give her some breathing space. Moira had struck her with a hard, bar-room brawl punch earlier; it would be wrong of Karen, she decided, not to return the favour.

"Ka mate!" she shouted, yelling a Maori war cry of of her own, before lunging forwards, aiming to knock Moira head over heels with a brutal clothesline!

"Oi shit." was all Moira could say as Karen let out her war cry. She's played rugby with them before and she'd be a liar if she said she wasn't intimidated by the haka and their other war cries. Karen charged forward and clotheslined her. The Irishwoman was knocked flat on her ass and momentarily stunned.

Karen felt the familair shock of impact go up her arm as it collided with Moira's head, knocking the powerful Irishwoman onto the mat. "YEAAHHH!" she shouted, flexing her arms before the enthusiastic crowd. Without skipping a beat, she would then lean down and try to grab a hold of Moira's head, trying to yank her opponent to her feet...before trying to wrap her arms around the other girl's body, hoping to trap her arms in the process in a bear hug!

"Let's see how you like it," she would hiss as she would squeeze into Moira, her chest compressing against the Irishwoman's as she squeezed into her...all the while, of course, making sure to position her head so her cheek was against Moira's, to avoid a headbutt...

Moira suddenly found the shoe on the other foot. She was yanked to her feet by the Maori woman. Moira expected a suplex but instead Karen wrapped her arms around her torso and arms with a bearhug! Karen was shorter than Moira, but her arms were powerful and they dug into the Irishwoman’s lower back. Moira let out a cry of pain and wiggled to no avail. She was fully chest to chest with Karen and unable to even headbutt her opponent. Moira had only one way out apart from being submitted, which was through raw strength. Moira summoned her inner bar fighter rage and worked to free her arms. She pushed outward with all her might to break Karen’s grip. After a long struggle, Moira, with a final burst of strength broke Karen’s grip and forced herself free from the bearhug. With Karen off balance, Moira sent a big boot to the Maori’s face with a loud battle cry.

Karen clenched her teeth as she squeezed into Moira. The two powerful beauties were locked together tightly, muscles bulging as Karen sought to crush Moira in the bear hug while the Irishwoman fought to free herself. Sweat rolled down Karen's forehead as she fought to keep Moira in her grip. "Come...on...and give..." she managed to hiss.

And then, suddenly, Moira managed to wrench both her arms free, breaking the hold. "Wha--?" was all Karen managed to gasp before she took a big boot to the face! She went down hard, crashing to the mat in an absolute daze as Moira's boot collided with her skull, one leg kicking weakly at the mat as she stared up at the arena lights.

The adrenaline was flowing through Moira’s veins, but even she knew she was running low on gas. She decided to go for broke and attempt to finish this. The Irishwoman pulled Karen to her feet and delivered a swift kick to her gut. Moira then placed Karen’s head between her thighs, wrapped her arms around Karen’s torso, and hoisted her overhead. The Irishwoman then attempted to deliver Gwenllian‘s Hammer, her powerbomb finishing move!

Karen's skull was ringing as she lay on her back. Groaning, she felt Moira pulling on her, and she was soon yanked up unsteadily onto her feet. That was, until a boot from the Irishwoman cannoned into her midsection, causing her to double over with a ragged gasp. This was exactly what Moira wanted, though, as it turned out, as a second later Moira's powerful thighs clamped around her head while her arms wrapped around her torso.

The next thing Karen knew, she was being hoisted overhead, until she was lifted up into almost a sitting position off the mat. Realizing what was happening, Karen did the only thing she could do-- she grabbed a hold of Moira's hair with one hand, while using the other to start drilling punches into her face, hoping to unbalance her or at the very least prevent the power bomb!
