Shonen Showdown: Yunaka Rubi vs Meiyun Lai

Oh wow, that actually worked, thought Yunaka once she had reversed herself before immediately re-reversing her Figure Four Leglock on Meiyun for no reason other than that it would look cool. Yunaka really was starting to wonder just how much more powerful she was than the rest of the Young Lionesses to be able to pull off stuff like this so easily. Even if they were rookies, YL's were still professionals, right?

But those thoughts left Yunaka's head once Meiyun started making a play for the ropes, threatening escape. But the peppy redhead had a solution; she crawled backwards with her elbows, putting just enough extra distance between the rope and Meiyun's hand to put it out of reach. Not that it would matter a ton, since Yunaka was about to release her hold on her own.

"Well if ya won't tap to this, then I guess I gotta try something else," Yunaka said as she undid her Leglock. She still made sure to use her feet to pin down Meiyun's legs to keep the diner girl in place however. Yunaka would shoot herself forward to get part way on top of Meiyun. With a second burst, the redhead would be all the way on top of the Chinese girl. From there. Yunaka would sit back on Meiyun's upper chest, just between her breasts and her throat. She would then grab Meiyun by her head, pull it forward, and try to wrap her ever dangerous thighs around the diner girl's neck.

If Yunaka was successful in securing her Headscissor, it would be trivial for the redhead to choke out Meiyun. But this was a submission match, so all that would really do is make Yunaka have wait for Meiyun to wake up. So if the diner girl held strong under the threat of Yunaka's thighs, she would release Meiyun just as she was on the brink of unconsciousness. Though Yunaka would stay on top of her, frustrated at her opponent's persistence if she did manage to last.

It had put plenty of strain on Meiyun's legs in the process, but little by little, the Hakka girl had managed to worm her way over toward the ropes - just enough to put them within her reach. She panted and groaned, her body shuddering against the pressure - but now, she knew, it was almost over. Escape was just barely within her grasp! She grit her teeth to try and bear through it, stretching her arm out as far as it could go as her fingers grasped at the air. If she could just make it a little further, it would all be over!

But just before Meiyun was able to grab the ropes, Yunaka quickly jerked her away, leaving her hand to fall flat against the canvas! Meiyun let out a gasp, her eyes going wide in shock. Just when it seemed like she was about to make a difference, she found herself right back at square one - and the crushing pressure of Yunaka's legs reminded her of just how hard she had fought to get away, as the pained groans that escaped her throat gave way to a scream of agony! Mei had sworn she was going to give it her all to stand up to Yunaka, and to put down the threat she posed once and for all. But the redhead was truly testing the limits of her determination!

Then, just as Meiyun felt like her composure could break at any moment, Yunaka let go - and Meiyun fell flat on her back. Her face was red, and her chest heaved in and out as she gasped for air. Meiyun didn't have a chance to question how she had ended up in such a predicament, however - and even less of a chance to take advantage of her newfound freedom. Just as soon as Yunaka had let her go, she jumped forward, bringing her weight down against her sternum! The pressure of Yunaka's body pressing down against her chest and ribs was enough to squeeze the air out of Meiyun's lungs, causing her to cough out some hoarse, raspy wheezes, her eyes wide and her mouth agape. She couldn't even scream for lack of breath! And it was about to get worse, as Yunaka brought her legs together, trapping Meiyun's throat in a brutal headscissor!

Gagging and gasping, Meiyun tried to shake her head in defiance, but she could barely budge when Yunaka held her firmly in place. Her body lurched as though to cough, but she didn't even have enough air in her lungs to make a sound. Her eyes rolled back in her head, and her face blushed a crimson hue as her breath was squeezed out little by little. The world around her grew hazy, and she struggled to hold on. But Meiyun knew one thing - she couldn't stop now. She couldn't give in!

With the last gasps of strength she had in her, Meiyun attempted to grab at Yunaka's thighs, getting her hands in between the two of them and trying to pry them apart. But, as weak as she was, she could barely summon enough strength to get them to budge! She tugged and pushed as hard as she could, gritting her teeth and groaning, but to no avail. Her eyes went wide in shock as she looked back breathlessly at Yunaka. It seemed as though she was doomed to give in...

Yet, once again, just as Meiyun felt like she was about to pass out, Yunaka let go of her! With the pressure released, the brunette flopped lifelessly against the mat, only to spasm and cough a moment later as she sucked the air back into her lungs. She began to push herself up on her elbows, just enough to look back at Yunaka - and when she did, her eyes narrowed in a glare. "Are you just...toying with me!?" There was no other option, if Yunaka had brought her to the brink and then let go not once but twice! And it was only a dastardly villain like Yunaka who would show such disrespect! This had to be a taunt!

While Yunaka would never be mad at an opponent letting up on her, Meiyun seemed to be of a different mentality. The diner girl felt she was being mocked and disrespected by the redhead releasing her holds on Mei. Yunaka could certainly see Meiyun's point of view here, but it certainly was not what she was trying to do to her opponent.

"No no no, you got it wrong," Yunaka was quick to say. "I was getting the feeling that you weren't going to submit to the Leglock, so I decided to try something else to make you tap. Then after I locked in the Headscissors, I realized you wouldn't be able to tap out if I knocked you out. So, you know, I kinda had to let go of that one while you were still awake. I promise I'm not trying to make you look bad or anything."

Yunaka wasn't really sure how to put Meiyun away. Clearly she could lock Mei into holds pretty easily. But getting the Chinese girl to actually tap was a different story, and Yunaka didn't have the experience to know how to force a submission out of someone who refused to give it willingly. She could threaten to break something, but that would go against the image Yunaka was trying to craft. So she decided to keep that option in her back pocket for now.

Yunaka guessed that demoralizing Meiyun to break her fighting spirit could help with getting that elusive tap out from the diner girl. So the normally energetic Yunaka decided to lay back and wait. Ceding the initiative to Meiyun so that she would attack her, with the intent of stopping the attack and finding a way to counter it so that her opponent may come to more readily accept the odds she had at winning this match.

Yunaka tried to explain herself, but it made little difference to Meiyun. She just looked back at her opponent with a huff, her eyes narrowed in a glare. One way or another, she couldn't help but feel like the redhead wasn't taking her seriously, if she was this effortlessly going from one submission to another as though Mei wasn't even a threat. To Yunaka, it might not have meant anything, but to Meiyun it meant the world! Every match she went into was an effort to prove herself, climbing her way to the top so that she could proudly proclaim that House of Lai Chinese and Taiwanese Cuisine had produced the strongest wrestler to ever live! And if Yunaka wasn't going to let Meiyun's potential shine, she was just going to have to do it by force!

Summoning all her strength by virtue of her frustration, Meiyun kipped back up on her feet. She teetered dizzily back and forth for a moment; she was still catching her breath after the crushing headscissor, and the shift in altitude didn't do her any favors in that regard. But that wouldn't stop her when she had more important things to take care of, and soon enough her eyes narrowed with a sense of purpose! For now, Yunaka was hanging back, waiting for Mei to make the next move. A more insightful, experienced wrestler might have recognized a trap when they saw one, but Meiyun was not exactly the most nuanced when it came to her strategy. As long as Yunaka was open, that meant she had an opportunity to strike, and she wouldn't pass it up!

"HAAAAHHH-!!!" Belting out a battle cry, Meiyun lowered her head and charged straight toward Yunaka as fast as she could! She drew back her arm as she did, prepared to strike out with a chop right across her foe's collarbone if she got into range! Assuming Yunaka let her do that, at least!

Yunaka didn't have a way to tell whether or not her words got through to Meiyun, but the redhead did know that her attacks were getting through to the diner girl. Yunaka was honestly a little impressed that Mei managed to stay upright after getting up so fast from the beating she had took. The wobble in the Chinese girl's step did betray the damage Yunaka had dealt her though.

Yunaka wasn't shocked that Meiyun wanted to charge in, but she was somewhat surprised that she actually did it. The redhead had thought that the diner girl may finally take the opportunity to slow down a spiraling situation, or barring that, Yunaka thought she would be too wobbly to move like this. No matter, not like I can't handle this, thought Yunaka.

When Meiyun reeled her arm back, Yunaka took that as her opening. She took a quick step forward and jabbed at the side of Mei's face left unguarded by her arm not being there to protect it, with the goal of stuffing the diner girl's charge. If successful, Yunaka would then try to run through Meiyun with a running knee. Knocking the brunette to her back with Yunaka falling on top of her.

If Yunaka was able to get this position, she would take a second crack at suffocating Meiyun into submission. She would lay down on the diner girl, planting her bouncing breasts atop Mei's face and tie up the Chinese girl's legs with her own to lock in a Grapevine Breast Smother. Yunaka would also grab Meiyun by her wrists, leaving her just enough wiggle room to tap, but still restraining the diner girl's arms from interfering. "Tell you what, this time I won't let up until you tap out," said Yunaka. "I'll just keep on laying here."

Meiyun's eyes locked onto her opponent, and when they did, they were narrowed into a glower of rage. She knew that Yunaka was out to test her, but if there was one thing the Hakka girl knew, it was that she couldn't succumb. She was still dizzied, yes, her legs were still sore, sure - but she couldn't let any of that stop her! If she showed even a moment of weakness, that would be all Yunaka needed to swoop in for the kill. And there was more to Meiyun's defiance than merely gunning for the advantage. She wanted to deny her opponent the very opportunity to feel superior, and she didn't want anyone watching to think for a moment she was anything less than capable. She wouldn't let herself be belittled. There could be no doubt that she had it in her to win this match. If she betrayed any sign to the contrary, Yunaka had already won - so Meiyun's charge was as much a refusal of her dominance as it was a move to take control!

However, it was growing obvious that Meiyun's strategy largely consisted of throwing herself in the direction of her opponents as hard as she could and hoping for the best. And for all Meiyun believed in herself...it was predictable. Yunaka barely even needed to get out of the way in order to counter her next move - she swung her fist into her face, and in one simple manuever, Meiyun's momentum ground to a halt!

"Whoah-!!" She went stumbling back, her jaw dropping and her arms shooting out to her sides to try and even out her balance. She winced, feeling the numbing pain run through the side of her jaw. Still, she teetered on uneasy footing - and just a moment later, Yunaka was able to take that out from under her, as her leg shot up into the air, catching Meiyun with a knee to the sternum! She had no choice but to fall back, thrown off course by the force of the blow. With a scream, she came crashing down onto her back - and Yunaka was soon to follow, shoving her breasts into her face and restraining her legs at the same time as she pinned down her wrists!

Now, Meiyun had nowhere to go. Yunaka was holding her down with the full weight of her body; she could feel herself sinking into the canvas as the redhead leaned into her from above. She tried to twist her arms or her legs from side to side, but Yunaka held firm. And through it all, her face was pressed squarely into her opponent's cleavage, stifling every breath she took! Meiyun couldn't see what was going on around her, and all the protests she voiced were barely audible above muffled groans. But she did know one thing. Yunaka was taunting her, daring her to tap out. And Meiyun wasn't about to let her win so easily!

Mei did her best to shake her head, as much as she could with her head sandwiched between Yunaka's chest and the canvas. But at the same time, she bucked up hard with her hips and back, in a frantic attempt to shake her foe off of her! Meiyun didn't care how hard it was to breathe - as long as she could still resist, she'd fight back until her last gasps of oxygen ran out! She had to show the world she wouldn't take this lying down!

Yunaka found little in the way of resistance from Meiyun as the redhead imposed her will on the Chinese wrestler. Perhaps that wasn't quite right, Mei provided plenty of resistance to Yunaka's victory through her stubbornness and refusal to give up, but the diner girl was simply unable to utilize that grit into stopping Yunaka from doing whatever she wanted in terms of landing attacks and locking in holds.

Such as the Grapevine Breast Smother that Yunaka currently had Meiyun locked into. Mei fought, bucked, thrashed, and struggled in vain. Now matter how many times Yunaka drove her hips down into Meiyun's and down into the mat, no matter how many times the redhead's grip held firm as the Hakka girl tried to twist and pull her arms and legs every which way, Meiyun refused to actually give up.

Keeping Meiyun down like this wasn't even that difficult for Yunaka either. Her biggest concern was what was going on between her buxom breasts. Yunaka's outfit showed enough cleavage off that Meiyun's face was directly against her bare skin. So Yunaka really felt every twist and turn the diner girl's head made inside her chest. The wetness of Meiyun's lips and even her tongue running against the redhead's skin as the Chinese girl kept her mouth wide open for any air that may find her. The sensation of Mei's soft skin rubbing back and forth across her breasts. It was all enough to make Yunaka shiver a bit. "aah," the redhead practically mewled.

It certainly served well as a distraction for Yunaka as she waited for the submission from Meiyun that still would not come. The peppy Middleweight certainly minded Meiyun's obstinance a lot less as long as she could stay in this position. She had never quite felt something like this before, and Yunaka enjoyed it. Her desire was almost shifting to hoping Meiyun continued to hold out so she could stay here longer.

Meiyun was caught in a difficult predicament to escape from. With Yunaka ensnaring her legs, she couldn't leverage them into trying to buck her way out of the hold - she only had her back to rely on, and, as she would soon find as she struggled ineffectively, that just wasn't enough to unseat the weight of Yunaka's body pressing down on her. With her wrists pinned, she couldn't grab or strike for her opponent to try and take back any control that way. And with her face firmly wedged between Yunaka's breasts, her air supply was dwindling fast! The longer she stayed here, her breaths muffled into the redhead's bosom, Meiyun would lose more and more air, leaving her low on the fuel she needed to propel herself into an escape. Even now, her eyes were beginning to glaze over and grow dark, as she had to fight with all her might to keep herself from passing out then and there, biting down on the inside of her cheek just to keep herself stimulated!

She grit her teeth, doing her best to pull her muscles taut and keep her body firm. She couldn't pass out now! But it felt like she had tried everything to get away, and nothing was working. Even as she tried to buck with her hips, or to force her leg out of the grapevine, every failed attempt she made was draining more and more of her stamina, putting her ever-closer to the dreaded knockout. For that matter, with Yunaka holding the pressure on the insides of her legs, her thighs were being forced apart, putting more strain on her hip joints. And this was only the first of what could go to five falls! Meiyun knew she'd be on the back foot if she wasted too much of her strength here, and that would only make things harder for her going forward. She really didn't want to do it...but it seemed she had no choice.

"MMFF!!" Meiyun squealed, trying to voice her submission but finding herself muffled into Yunaka's chest. When she realized that wouldn't work, she began flailing her hand as much as she could when Yunaka was holding her at the wrist, trying to tap out. Her cheeks burned with a blush as she thought about what she was doing. It felt like a betrayal of her values to admit defeat to her opponent, especially this early in the match. But there would still be a chance to win this, she reminded herself - she had to keep that hope alive!

As Yunaka's breast smother against Meiyun continued to drag on, the redhead started to wonder if the stubbornness of the diner girl would extend so far that she would allow herself to be knocked out rather than admit defeat. And if Meiyun did decide to take things to that extreme, what would Yunaka do then? She figured she would use Meiyun's unresponsive state to freely lock her into the most unbearably painful hold she could think of, but Yunaka didn't exactly have a deep submission repertoire.

But thankfully, that problem did eventually end up solving itself. Likely only moments from fading to unconsciousness, Meiyun finally submitted to Yunaka. The dominating redhead noticed her opponent's hand hitting against the mat. "That's a tap right?!" Yunaka said as she turned to the ref, who was already ahead of her. Signaling Meiyun's surrender, and Yunaka's victory in the first round.

"Zappy!" cheered Yunaka as she promptly popped up off of Meiyun's body. "You're one tough nut to crack, you know that Mei-Mei?" she then said to her opponent, addressing Meiyun with the nickname she had just come up with for her on the spot. "Even if I finally managed to make you tap, you're resilience really is impressive. You need a hand?" Yunaka would then reach a hand down, offering to help Meiyun stand. The offer of help was genuine, with no ill motives planned behind it.

When Yunaka stepped back off of Meiyun, the brunette slowly and groggily lifted herself back up to a seated position. She felt dazed and light-headed from lack of breath, and she teetered uneasily from side to side, her face red and glistening with sweat as she took in a few deep breaths to try and ground herself. Her eyes were glazed over, and her mouth hung open with the sound of a low groan. But even if she was dizzy, Meiyun knew one thing - she was not proud of how she'd fared in the first fall. She'd entered this match determined to stand up to the seemingly invincible threat that was Yunaka Rubi, and to show her that she wouldn't be intimidated or bullied into surrender. She had pledged to never give up against anyone, and against Yunaka, someone who threatened the entire Young Lioness Program, the burden was on her all the more to ensure she would stand strong; that she would triumph where others had faltered. And here she was, tapping out early into the first fall, when she had barely managed to get a hit on her foe. It felt like a betrayal of everything she'd ever held true about herself, and she bit at the inside of her cheek, the realization sending a shiver down her spine.

However, Meiyun wasn't about to let that keep her down for long. This was only the first fall. The first arc where the hero was tested by their opponent, only to come back stronger than ever with the willpower they needed to win! This would only be the motivation Meiyun needed to fire on all cylinders in the next one! Meiyun looked back up at Yunaka as she panted for breath. She heard the praise she had for her, and it brought a smile to her face - if Yunaka could acknowledge the willpower, drive, and determination in her, she must have been doing something right. But the smile on her face just as quickly turned to a frown. Even if her opponent could see the potential in her, to Meiyun, it just hadn't been enough.

"I'm fine..!" It wasn't that Meiyun had any suspicions of Yunaka's intentions - but she was desperate to prove she was made of stronger stuff than she'd let on with her performance in the first fall. If she was going to get back up, she wanted it to be on her own terms. Sucking in a breath, she pushed off the ground to kip back up to her feet - though, as soon as she did, she began to wobble uneasily from side to side; she hadn't given herself the chance to get accustomed to the change in altitude, and she hadn't quite found the strength in her legs either. Still, she sucked in a breath, bending at the knees to sink into a stance and raising her fists. She had to be ready!
