Her stance slightly resembled boxing one with her footwork however being much more fluid, changing directions to keep Astrid guessing as to what she was planning, a trick sh learned recently. Then she lunged forward with a cross before skipping to the side.

Alicja saw the jab, eyes focusing on the incoming strike not sure if as she moved it would connect or not, deciding it was better to be safe than sorry she brought her left hand to deflect it to the side before trying to step in, hoping that it made enough of an opening for her to get an uppercut under Astrid's chin.

Astrid's fist would not connect with her opponent's chest as it was blocked by Alicja blocking the blow with her fist. This allowed the other woman an small opening as she struck back as the blond attempted to lean backwards to avoid the uppercut that was aimed at her chin.

Having her strike fly wide of the target, Alicja gave a little growl of disappointment. Still, taking after her recent lesson she would just flow with the move, trying to keep the momentum going as she turned her hips to deliver a kick to Astrid's side. Now aware of the precarious position she was in, with her hand extended way further up then she could have any use of, she would try to bring it down and behind the other woman's neck to wrap around it and if successful, drop back with a DDT.

Astrid would just smile as she dodged the other woman's attack , but did raise an eyebrow when she heard Alicja growl. As she did hope the other wrestler was not someone who got frustrated easily. Or else she could get herself in some real trouble if she ever faced someone who's tactic was to get her opponent all frustrated as she groaned when the kick connected with her side as she tried to move backwards to create some distance between the two

Actually managing to land a kick was a relief. Alicja knew her technique and speed were lacking and the slow progress she was making was far too slow for her liking and each mistake led to more frustration, but at least she was progresing. Seeing Astrid back away she would try to follow, throwing a sidekick to try and reach her though her form was sloppy and ended up putting her out of balance.

It may have bin an simple hit , but it seemed that just managing to hit her had done wonders for Alicja's confidence. As she would soon have to block an sidekick from the other wrestler as she quickly grasped onto the leg used to kick at her. Since she would follow up that by going for an legsweep as she hoped to knock her new sparring partner to the ground.

Having struck once was decent enough, and the kick being blocked was not too bad either, at least it didn't fly completely off target. That was that however as far as good news was concerned as Alicja quicker than she realized what was going on found herself on the mat. She groaned from the impact and remembering what she was taught spread her legs to try and catch Astrid in her guard should she try and get top position.

Astrid would take the other woman down after she blocked her kick as she used her experience to catch the other wrestler off guard. As she crouched down , and swept her leg from beneath her as she watched as Alicja would fall down. The groan that came from the other woman's lips was an welcomed sound as she attempted to follow up on her attack only to have to block another attack as she grunted when it connected.
