Last Woman Standing Steel Cage Match: Loser will be declared when one woman cannot rise to meet a ten count. Additionally the ring will be surrounded with a close steel cage with no dqs being enforced.

This was it. The road to get here had been long, painful, and filled with the bitter taste of defeat, more than Sheena would have liked admittedly. But it was finally time for Apex, and under the circumstances of her last qualifier Sheena could think of no better person than Akari Ito to be her opponent for the final climactic battle at Apex. After all they had two down in the books, one win for each, and one loss to each, this needed to be a trilogy, a tiebreaker between the two to decisively decide who was the better woman. More over with all the... deeply personal and intimate feelings underneath the surface connecting them, this match was all the more important, to show who was the dominant between them, and who could carry the other.

On every level this match was neccessary to be as definitive as possible, so it was under Sheena's insistence that it be last woman standing, in turn though it was Akari's idea to add the steel cage. That way it would be an even playing field all throughout, no trickery or additional weapons but the cage and mat and they themselves. Needless to say Sheena agreed wholeheartedly. Taking a deep breath in preparation Sheena readied herself. Knowing this match would be long and arduous, not to mention bloody, but she had done all of those things before, and she was prepared to do whatever it took to win as her entrance music sounded off through the speakers.

Coming out slow and purposefully Sheena would stand before the crowd with a confident and stoic look on her face as the lights strobed purple, the crowd cheering and whooping for her with her name in LAW being quite well built, especially in this particular match type. Tossing her head back and looking ahead, at the loomin steel cage above the ring was a reminder of what hell Sheena was about to walk into. So she took the first step with not a hint of fear or apprehension on her face. Wearing her new white and purple attire, looking as confident as possible, Sheena strode down the ramp towards the ring, climbing inside and taking her place at the corner, crouching slightly and looking at the ramp in preparation, waiting for the woman she would face to come down..

This was....nerve-wracking...to say the least. The tension in the air tonight felt suffocating as the atmosphere was filled with this dense, heavy pressure. This was the third time she and her new love, Sheena, would come face-to-face in a brutal contest of passion and fury. Every time the two came into contact within the squared circle, they would tear each other apart. Every subsequent match had already been more agonizing and impactful than the last. Now it all came to a head here at Apex. However, Sheena or Akari weren't thinking about that. Their minds were collectively set on the main prize tonight...claiming dominance once-and-for-all over the other. This match would shape the future of their relationship. It would draw out EVERYTHING within them in the ultimate clash between Ito and Akan. Two fiery upstarts of a new generation set on climbing to the top of LAW, trapped within a cold, metallic hell with only one goal in sight...to crush the other woman and prove who was the one on top. Akari was shaking in her boots...but when she heard the sound of her kick-ass theme playing, the Sea Turtle could feel the rhythm empowering her right in her soul...There was no time to waste and certainly no room for hesitation. She grabbed her coat and slipped her headphones on...

Akari steps into the arena, dazzling the crowd with her new attire. The pro-wrestling DJ arrived on the scene with a gallant display of pyrotechnics and smoke machines. While she walked down to the ring, she greeted and entertained fans with her radiant and energetic personality. She carried this larger-than-life aura and smiled with this unyielding pride and confidence. She looked up to the steel cage that lingered over the ring, and she looked toward Sheena, unwavering in her resolve as she continued to step forward to face the one she loves one last time to finally settle the score with a match that would decide the future of their 'relationship'...Akari slips her coat and headphones off, giving them to a stagehand outside the ring. She has a mighty stare down with Sheena before approaching her with heavy footsteps. Her natural charisma and passion were on display here as she came face-to-face and chest-to-chest with the lavender-haired woman. Without a second thought, she takes Sheena's cheek in her palm and kisses her on the spot. It wasn't meant to distract her or overwhelm her...Quite the contrary...This was a kiss for good luck. And also because Akari missed the sweet taste of those lips as well."Best of luck to you, my beloved Wisteria. May the better woman win, no matter what...no hard feelings. Regardless of who wins here tonight, I want you to know...that I am so happy to have fallen in love with you." She whispered, backing away, then showboating to the crowd one last time before the mechanisms and wiring above began to shift and change.

Moments later, the audience began to die down as both Sheena and Akari were given a last-second gear check. Afterward, the two would do their final preparations and stretches before things moved forward. Shortly after, the time had drawn near...and with a slow and menacing "creaking" sound, the cage begins to lower slowly until both wrestlers are surrounded within the ring, contained within a prison of steel wiring and chainlink, the only thing awaiting was a brutal fight ahead that would drag every last ounce of their spirit and passion out of them. And now, the only thing left was for the bell to ring...And once it did, it would not signal for the match to start...It would signal for the gates of HELL to OPEN.


DING DING DING!!!

Sheena was looking up while pacing side to side in the ring, like a tiger that knew its prey wasn't far, that wanted its chance to strike. She was ready, she wanted this, she knew Akari wanted it, and the longer she had to wait the more and more antsy she would become. It was time to do this. Thankfully the time would come sooner rather than later as Akari's music finally hit and the Sea Turtle came out from the back. Dressed rather extravagantly with a furry coat and sunglasses, something that made Sheena smirk slightly. 'Thats so her.' She thought to herself bemused, the smile remaining on her face as Akari eventually made her way to the ring.

Immediately the two met in the center of the ring pressed up against one another and... Kissing. But Sheena returned it almost immediately after, no sign of hesitation or embarrassment, she was in the moment and greatly enjoyed sharing it with Akari. Breaking the kiss almost as soon as it started Sheena would keep her hands on the woman's hips with a small smile still adorning her face as she looked into Akari's azure eyes. "Good luck to you too turtle dove but don't worry, I'm sure after I pin or submit you, I'll be able to make it up to you when we get somewhere private." Sheena said, taking a bolder route than she'd normally would while winking before starting to back away, her eyes still never leaving Akari's once until she reached her corner.

Now face to face the two were just waiting on the officials and cage. The official to finish checking their gear before the cage whirred to life. Giving them a few precious seconds more to compose and stretch for what would undoubtedly be a hellacious bout to come. As the cage finally touched down, Sheena would hop in place for a moment pumping herself up and getting in position, just in time for the bell to ring... Prompting her to dash forward at top speeds, rushing at Akari and raising her fist to start this match off fast and furious with a punch aimed directly at the Sea Turtle's face!

"Hm~...you certainly have a way with words, my love. That's a good idea. I'll be sure to put it to use after I defeat you. Hope you don't mind~..." Akari teased before stepping away. Their gear is checked, the cage is lowered, and the bell rings. Sheena was already off to an explosive start. The lavender-haired warrior rushes her beloved Sea Turtle with a mighty punch aimed at Akari's jaw. The sea-themed fighter prepares herself, bringing up her guard and defending against Sheena's furious blow. It glances off the backside of her fist, and Akari is quick to counterattack with a strong knee aimed right at Sheena's stomach, aiming to drive the wind out of her sails early in order to take control in this match from the get-go.

Sheena smirked hearing the come back from Akari, knowing full well that the Sea Turtle would be brimming with confidence just as Sheena was. Good, it would only make things all the better between them when they finally figured out who the final victor would be between them. Not wasting any time out of the gate Sheena shot forward, aiming a punch to start things off but it was parried with grace by Akari before the Sea Turtle responded by raising her knee!

Seeing the attack coming Sheena opted for the opposite approach to Akari, rather than trying to deflect the blow elegantly Sheena tensed her stomach and took it head on! Grunting softly from the impact Sheena would reach down, grabbing Akari's leg before she could pull away and, if successful, swinging her arm up to deliver a uppercut into Akari's own stomach as payback!

The Sea Turtle SLAMMED her knee into the stomach of her lover. Sheena's body was more durable than most, and there was no doubt that this would be an uphill battle. Regardless, Akari was trying her hardest to get the woman to fold. However, a calculating Sheena would manage to tense her body in the right spot, allowing her toned midsection to absorb the impact with minimal damage. As a result, the lavender-haired woman quickly utilized the opportunity to return the favor by crushing Akari's stomach with an uppercut. Akari grunts as her eyes widen, but she holds on and tries to hit Sheena with an Enzugiri, hopping up on her free leg and delivering the kick to the woman's head with that same leg, sending her shinguard-covered foot toward Sheena's temple.

Things were starting out fast and hard between Sheena and Akari, just the way she liked it. Sure enough the two were exchanaging strikes heatedly to start things off, each getting solid hits in on each others stomachs out of the gate, with Sheena having the edge by managing to catch Akari's leg. Unfortunately despite the force of Sheena's uppercut Akari wasn't down just yet. In fact..

The Sea Turtle would manage to counter by leaping up and swinging her leg around for a brutal kick to the side of Sheena's head! "Ugh!" Sheena cried out in pain, stumbling away from Akari before reaching up to gingerly touch the side of her head with a wince before leaning against the ropes.. Seemingly stunned for whatever Akari may have up her sleeve next... well if Akari had sleeves that is.

Akari swings her leg and STRIKES the Akan Family wrestler upside the head with a mighty -THWACK- sounding off upon contact. Akari drops to the canvas after being released, and she quickly recovers while Sheena recoils from the impact. With Sheena knocked away and left in a partial daze, the Sea Turtle saw her chance to dish out a little more damage. She runs over to the lavender-haired woman of her dreams, launches herself at the ropes, swinging her legs around between the top and middle rope, wrapping an arm around Sheena's upper chest, and sharing a quick look into her eyes before smiling and DRIVING her face-first into the canvas with a Rope Hung Flatliner!!!

Sheena groaned in pain as she was sent into the ropes, holding her head for a brief moment after getting kicked there. 'Not good.' Sheena thought to herself, just knowing that Akari would be all too quick to follow up. Sure enough the Sea Turtle had leapt up, grabbing onto Sheena and, despite a brief moment of eye contact sending butterflies dancing in her stomach it didn't stop what came next. "Gyah!" Yelling in pain as she face planted against the mat with a harsh impact! Bouncing up from the smack Sheena would try and instinctively roll to the side, at least having the wherewithal to try and put some distance between herself and her opponent.

Akari jumps onto the rope, gripping Sheena tightly and driving her opponent's forehead straight into the mat. As Sheena's head bounced off the canvas, the lavender-haired woman rolled away in time to avoid being rolled up and pinned by the Sea Turtle. The Akan woman made a wise choice...When Akari pounced toward her, she narrowly missed her by just a few inches. She grunts softly before standing back up, staring Sheena down. She runs toward her and attempts to follow up her last move with another offensive strike, aiming a Dropkick right at the woman's midsection. She didn't want to give Sheena too much time to rest. Because the moment she recovered, Akari knew she would be looking to get even with her. If Akari were to miss her attack, she would wind up crashing right at Sheena's feet, landing just shy of the corner. She was banking on this attack to send Sheena into the corner instead.
