The 'Cobalt Swan', Giselle Beauregard vs Rukia 'Shinigami' Kuchiki
Match Type: "Knockout."
The win condition is to successfully knock your opponent out. The referee will judge and confirm whether or not a participant is capable of continuing. Additionally, if a wrestler remains outside the ring for too long, by the count of ten they will be disqualified. Furthermore, if a wrestler performs an illegal move and is caught in the act by the in-ring official, they will be disqualified.
Standard rules - DQs, Count-outs, and the submission or pinfall MUST happen within the confines of the ring.


Ooo, now THIS sure was exciting. Giselle was already set to be in her SECOND match here at LAW. It would seem like the experienced veteran is already becoming quite the hot commodity around the locker room. All these youngsters want a piece of top-shelf vintage...well, if these young'uns want to romp with a classic, they'll have to match her pace!!! A knockout match!? Giselle doesn't even break a SWEAT over the idea, choosing instead to maintain her composure as she dresses herself up, preparing for what should be one hell of a match, a thoroughly entertaining bout that'll be one for the record books as the Jazz Age themed woman was set to go toe-to-toe with a woman by the name of Rukia Kuchiki. What a lovely name, likely befitting someone equally as interesting...at least, Giselle would HOPE. Once dressed and ready for the occasion, Giselle's theme song began over the speakers. She grabbed her gorgeous, classic feathery shawl and strutted through the halls to the ring.

"...Entering the ring first, hailing from New York City, New York...standing at 5'1 and weighing in at 126 lbs...THE COBAAAAAALT SWAAAAN...GISELLLLLLLLE BEEAAAAAAUUREGAAARD!!!!"

"Well hello LAW!!! A pleasure to see all you fine darlings again~!!!" She said, cheerfully. Walking out with a sensual stride in her step and a sultry tone in her voice, she greets the audience with a smile. Standing atop the ramp, her shawl wrapped around her shoulders and neck, with her cigarette holder in hand, fake smoke billowing out of the tip. She posed a few times before she walked down to the ring with that sexy sway of her hips, leaving the entire crowd MESMERIZED. She removes her shawl and enters the ring, performing a VERY sexual slide through the ropes before waving her shawl around and tossing it over the rope to the cheering crowd. She poses one last time before moving over to her corner, resting against the ropes and turnbuckle while waiting for her opponent. "Alright...now, without further ado, let's see the lovely star I get to tussle with~!!!" She exclaimed happily.

Finally, it seemed that Rukia was being given the chance to showcase her abilities. Although it may be a talk task, as her debut was up against an expereinced veteran. Already it seemed that Rukia was being tested, but nonetheless she was going to prove herself. She had to. The match though was not your typical match. Instead it was a knockout match, by name alone it promised to be more brutal than normal. Rukia’s opponent was none other than Giselle Beauregard. While the name rang no particular bells. Rukia was going need to prepare herself for the worst. Finishing her preparations it seemed that it was her turn to make an entrance.

Entering the ring second, hailing from Japan, standing in at 5’4 and weighing in at 119lbs. We have RUKIA THE SHINIGAMI KUCHIKI!!!
Greetings! It is truly an honor to be able to perform for you all. I hope to do my very best! Rukia announced as she walked down the ramp with a powerful and confident walk. Fastening her gloves along the way. People were enamored by Rukia’s confidence and strong demeanor. Of course it makes sense for that to be the case. Such is the power of the Kuchiki name. Once reaching the ring, Rukia would do so slowly, as to not be attacked by her opponent. Now she would quickly analyze her opponent. It didn’t seem as though Giselle had anything special physically. Meaning she would have to watch out for other aspects of her opponent. Still while cautious, Rukia was ever the good sport. I hope that you and I are able to have a respectable and honorable match Rukia said cautiously extending a hand out.

The Cobalt Swans spots her opponent as she walks down to the ring, liking what she sees. Seconds into Rukia's entrance and she was impressed by her physique already. She couldn't wait to get her hands on the young woman. Rukia seemed very energetic and excited about this match...Giselle felt the same way. As the two come face-to-face, the forty-four-year-old woman grins and reciprocates Rukia's warm welcome and handshake by returning the sentiment, shaking her hand, and offering her own form of 'welcome'. "Oh my, you are quite the strong young lady...Ooo, what a firm grip." She said, smiling jubilantly. "Lovely and powerful, my kind of woman~" She continued, chuckling to herself as she teased Rukia so nonchalantly. "Now let's have ourselves a nice ol' rumble, yeah~?" She said. She then takes Rukia's hand, pacing a soft kiss on it and giving her a flirtatious wink. "A simple kiss for good luck, I am a generous woman after all...may the better woman win, Rukia Kuchiki~"

Rukia wasn’t quite sure what to expect from her opponent. The gap in experience is likely to show itself early, but the form is unclear. Rukia would just have to deal with the moment as they arise. Outside of that, Rukia’s youth would help her physically. It was more likely that Rukia was the stronger and faster of the two. Still that was from a quick analysis. Whether or not it was accurate was to be seen. Nonetheless Rukia offered her hand in good sportsmanship. Giselle thankfully showed no malice and gripped Rukia’s own hand. Complimenting Rukia’s grip Oh why thank you Rukia responded, but as she was about to let go. Giselle planted a kiss on Rukia’s hand, tacking on a wink as well. Rukia’s normally calm and cool expression was overtaken by a wave of red. I..Thats…hardly…simple… Rukia said as Giselle readied herself for the match. Rukia would shake her heads to literally try and focus herself on the match at hand.

DING DING DING!!!


After a flirtatious opening from Giselle, both fighters would be separated for last-minute gear checks. The bell would ring shortly after that, and the match would begin. Giselle exited her corner with her usual calm, slow approach. She took her time to analyze her foe and decide on a plan of attack. A knockout match was far different from your typical match. It was a rare occurrence that Giselle would even participate in a match like this...The last time she fought in something SIMILAR to this had to have been at least five or six years back. She was far sprier back then, but she would still prove that she could hang and contend with this newer generation's upcoming stars. She walks closer to Rukia and engages in a standard Collar-and-Elbow Lock-Up, attempting to vie for control early on as she wrestles away at her youthful opponent, trying to overtake her and transition into a Side Headlock.

After a unorthodox and rather flirtatious opening. Rukia was not rattled, not quite yet. Now it was all a matter to keep her focus. Rukia was still unsure about Giselle’s abilities so she needed to be wary of them. Still that does not mean Rukia should be scared of using her own fast pace offensive. A knockout match probably suited her best. It’d be like any other combat sport Rukia partook in. So both were in mind to start off things slow. Giselle initiated a Collar and Elbow Lock-Up. Kindly Rukia accepted the invitation and followed suit. Rukia would struggle along with Giselle as they bot vied for control early in this match. As a rookie, Rukia was more susceptible to wanting to power through this. Something Giselle knew and used to her advantage. Actually using that power and using it against Rukia, nearly having her fall forward. Now locking in a side headlock and looking to wear the young Japanese woman down.

Ngh.. Rukia grunted as she struggled within this side headlock. Once again trying to power her way out of the hold. Which would just tire her out more than help her. While worried about her opponent, Rukia was letting that worry and her lack of experience plague her performance. So with taking a deep breath, Rukia would focus herself. Instead of trying to force her way out of the hold. Instead Rukia would send several blows to Giselle’s back. This hopefully would loosen the hold. At a moments notice, Rukia would slip out of the hold. Grabbing a hold of Giselle’s arm, Rukia would shoot up and nail Giselle in the face with Juhaku!

HA! Rukia let out, not as an insult but only a confirmation sound of a martial arts practitioner. That is if Juhaku landed. If it did Rukia would attempt this follow up her blow by using her leverage to judo flip Giselle. If all worked Rukia would finish it all with a foundational karate pose.

Giselle had a dominant level of control over her opponent. She wanted to maintain this momentum for as long as possible, so she began to move Rukia near a corner. Much to her pleasure, she continued to see Rukia wasting her breath and stamina by trying to muscle her way out of this situation. No good. The experienced veteran was more than capable of keeping her trapped. Just a little longer, Rukia would be secured in the corner where Giselle could continue dictating the match's flow at her preferred pace. However, the young Japanese woman eventually found a better approach by redirecting her superior power elsewhere. She begins by sending a series of strikes to Giselle's backside. The older woman staggers as the hits roll in. She wasn't the youngest, most spry spring chicken...her body had accumulated a fair bit of damage over the years, so some areas weren't as tough as they used to be. Rukia's strikes were aimed with great precision, and they had Giselle buckling long enough for the Japanese woman to reverse her way out of the hold, where she could retaliate with a strong elbow upside Giselle's jaw. The blow leaves the Cobalt Swan feeling rattled, causing her to stumble back a step but not straying too far as Rukia keeps a hold on her arm, using this chance to end her opening combo with a judo flip that sends the older woman tumbling to the canvas with a rough landing.

Rukia had been given a poor hand to start the match. Still Rukia was going to make the most of this hand, turning it into something favorable for her. This combo being enough to free Rukia and allow her to land a nasty elbow. Not being the only thing but a judo flip following that. Leaving Gisele reeling in pain while she laid on the mat. Rukia on muscle memory finished strongly with a karate stance. Admittedly something embarrassing she thought considering the circumstances of wrestling. Though it seemed she received some applause for her display. Which to Rukia added more to her embarrassment.

Wanting to balance her strict martial arts with the freedom and crassness of wrestling. Rukia would make use of this new medium. The young Kuchiki would go over to her experienced opponent, flipping her over and sitting on her back. If she was allowed, Rukia would sit on Giselle’s back and grab onto both of her legs. Pulling them both back, while also leaning back. Putting Giselle in the iconic yet modified Boston Crab!

Giselle was knocked into a daze after taking such a powerful blow to the head. She easily fell victim to the younger woman's follow-up attack, being flung to the wayside with a Judo Flip. She lands upon the canvas with a stern grunt, clutching at her backside. Hoh, to be young again...While she aged like a fine wine, Giselle couldn't deny that a younger version of herself would've been far more spry and resilient to such a simple technique. She tries to tough it out as well as she can, but Rukia denies her recovery. The Cobalt Swan is quickly assaulted by the Shinigami, who mounts atop the older woman's backside and bends it backward in a Boston Crab. With Giselle's legs trapped and stretched, the woman grits her teeth. The pain is searing, especially given the modification of an extensive stretch, and Giselle does her best to fight through the pain. She begins to crawl to the ropes, hoping for a break as she reaches a hand out toward the cord.

Rukia felt novice when it came to wrestling holds in particular. Sure Rukia could do some bone breaking submissions, but that hardly fits the wrestling aesthetic. So at this point it was a matter of challenging her imagination. So while basic, a Boston crab was an simple yet effective hold. Something that was surely going to wind down the older wrestler. Giselle though using the numerous years of experience under her belt. Knew that she could try and weather the pain. Rukia was somewhat worried when she felt that Giselle was on the move, despite Rukia being on her backside. So in quick and decisive manner, Rukia was hoping to stand up, drag Giselle back to the middle and even lean intensely far back. Nearly making Giselle’s feet touch her head if it went through!
