Lyra launched as many kicks as she could hoping this would put a stop to Alizeh countering. However, she found her leg getting caught as she tried to move it in for more kicks. Alizeh pushed up as Lyra had to hop on her other foot in order to keep herself balanced. Alizeh would hit a Dragon Screw Leg attack as Lyra grabbed her back and her leg as she gritted her teeth in pain! Lyra tried sliding onto the apron and hoped that would present a challenge for Alizeh as she recovered.

Getting laid into with a series of brutal stomps from the fortune teller Alizeh wasn't in a great position, but she wasn't done just yet. Despite the furious series of attack Alizeh would manage to grab onto Lyra's leg, holding onto it by the ankle and managing to force herself up to her feet while holding onto it, managing to then land a dragon screw onto Lyra, taking her off her feet and slamming her leg onto the mat as well! Panting a bit and holding her chest after thought, Alizeh wasn't able to immediately respond, giving her foe the chance to roll out onto the apron.

Turning over and seeing this though.. Alizeh had an idea. Grabbing onto the ropes and using them to pull herself up Alizeh would begin to climb up the corner as fast as possible to get to the top. Turning to face where Lyra was Alizeh would take a deep breath, trying to make sure that Lyra was unsuspecting before leaping up, taking flight and aiming to come down on Lyra with her legs pulled back to try and deliver a double stomp to Lyra's chest!

Lyra panted as she held onto her leg and she heard the referee protesting someone. The crowd would see Alizeh head straight to the top as they knew the Emerald Storm went all out in her matches. Lyra saw a blurry picture before her and couldn’t quite register Alizeh balancing herself. It was only when Alizeh jumped and came down closer, Lyra knew what she was in for….and she couldn’t stop it! Alizeh’s feet hit her chest as both women crash landed on the floor outside with the fans chanting “HOLY SHIT! HOLY SHIT! HOLY SHIT! HOLY SHIT!” The referee grabbed the top rope seeing both women laying on the floor as she knew she had to do her job and began the count.

“1! 2!”

Let it always be said that when Alizeh picked a spot for a highflying move she picked it. Landing that double stomp on Lyra from the top onto the apron did some nasty damage, thankfully mostly to Lyra, but not without its after effects on Alizeh. Mostly from the fall to the outside admittedly. "Ugh.. Fuck." Alizeh said to herself softly as she pulled herself to her feet and walked gingerly over to Lyra and bend down to grab the blonde and force her to her feet.

If successful than Alizeh would look to bounce her head off the edge of the apron, once, and then twice and finally three times before rolling her back into the ring. But Alizeh wasn't following. At least not directly. Instead Alizeh would climb back onto the apron before once again climbing the corner, this time from the outside until she was up top once again, looking down at Lyra's form below her. Taking a deep breath Alizeh would start to turn around on the top of the corner, bending her knees before leaping backwards, attempting to come spinning through the air to try and finish Lyra off with her Thunderbird Splash Finisher!

Lyra tried to suck in some air in order to keep herself moving as she laid up against the guardrail. Alizeh didn’t seem to be done with her future seeing opponent and got Lyra up in order to slam her head off the apron. “3! 4!” The ref continued the count and another head slam came. “5! 6!” A third one hit the mark and Lyra could only groan while trying to fight blurriness in her eyes. Alizeh rolled her in as the referee counted “7!” just as Alizeh climbed on top of the corner which ceased the count since Alizeh was gonna come back into the ring. Just in a very badass way as she prepared for the end using her Thunderbird Splash! The front row of fans raised their hands and stood up as Alizeh prepared Lyra’s fate. Just inches away from Apex and Alizeh could lock her spot ahead to get at that LAW Openweight Championship.

However, as Alizeh turned around, Lyra began getting on her hands and knees shaking her head to slowly regain her vision. She looked up seeing Alizeh prepare to dive and she jumped on her feet just as Alizeh launched. On the second flip down, Lyra caught Alizeh last minute planting her with a Sit-Out Powerbomb! Lyra went down on her back spread eagle as the crowd chanted “HOLY SHIT! HOLY SHIT! HOLY SHIT!” Lyra and Alizeh were literally meeting par on par with each other.

Lyra gets up having suffered not much damage and lifted Alizeh legs to place them over her body for a matchbook pin! The referee got down and this could be it for The Emerald Storm.

“1! 2!”

Between the double stomp that led them to the outside and the head shots off the apron Alizeh had thought that Lyra would be sufficiently stunned as she climbed up the corner and prepared herself for what could very well be the end of this match. Granted Alizeh would have to turn her back to Lyra to do so.. but if she could land this move it would be worth it. So she leaped backwards, spinning and spiralling through the air to come down on Lyra’s body!

Or at least that was the plan, but before she could make inpact Alizeh felt her hips grabbed making her eyes widen. ”AGHHHH!” Alizeh yelled out in pain as she bounced off the mat and then laid spread eagle on the mat, breathing heavily. Eventually after a fee second Lyra would get back up and manage to pin Alizeh down, folding her in half as the ref dropped down to count. However, given their proximity to the ropes Alizeh was able to reach out, grabbing hold of the bottom rope while in the ref’s view, prompting them to stop the count and telling Lyra to release the pin!

“Thr-!” The referee was about to secure the final count as she didn’t see Alizeh move to kick out, but her head turned just in time to catch the green-haired wrestler’s hand grab out for the rope. “Rope break! Lyra, release the pin! She has the ropes!”

Huh?” Lyra wondered out loud as she saw Alizeh make her last ditch effort to grab the ropes and before she could utter another the word, the referee reminded her to break the pin and pushed her off Alizeh.

“Didn’t you hear me? Rope break! Release the pin next time!” The referee scolded Lyra as this made her blink rapidly in order to understand her surroundings better and bring focus back to her eyes.

Having the wind taken out of her from the powerbomb Alizeh knew she wouldn’t be able to directly kick out, or rather she couldn’t expend the energy neccesary too and alsomount some form of counterattack. Thankfully the ropes were right there and grabbing them was seen by the ref resulting her continued chance in this match.

Though, Lyra seemed distracted and didnt let the pin go right away, not that Alizeh minded since it gave her precious extra seconds to get air in her lungs. Thankfully Lyra still seened somewhat lost in thought, allowing Alizeh to roll over onto her side and start to stand up, using the ropes as she did so to help herself get up onto her feet, albeit on shaky legs as she turned to face where Lyra was, being sure to keep track of the fortune teller.

Lyra would get back to her feet as she cracked her knuckles looking at Alizeh. They almost seemed to be destined rivals and could match each other no matter the experience each one had. Both viable contenders and future champions no doubt, but only one could win this match. Lyra put up her fists staring down Alizeh as she was ready to fight her hardest to get things going in her favor. Alizeh shouldn’t have much left in the tank after that powerbomb and she almost won off that alone.

Catching a rope break was the best thing Alizeh could have done there. Honestly she could have kicked out... or well probably. But it would have taken quite a bit of energy to do so. Now despite that nasty powerbomb that still had Alizeh's back tingling she was able to pull herself up to her feet with the help of the ropes and get to a vertical base before turning to Lyra and putting her fists up to match the girl's pose. "Heh, I didn't see that coming." Alizeh said with a smirk in reference to the power bomb before shooting forward, throwing her arm out to throw a cautious forearm Lyra's way, not necessarily meant to full on damage her, but to test the girl's defenses as they were right now, especially after that double stomp to the chest.
