First day at work

Being lifted like that was certainly both impressive and scary, and would Dan not have pressed her up and down it might have been the last nail in Sophia's proverbial coffin. Though since he did it gave her a chance to break out of her predicament. To that end, she would swing her leg to change her centre mass rapidly in Dan's grip and slip out. Then she would land in front of him, going into a crouch to absorb some of the impacts which she could already feel in her knees. Then trying to capitalize on her boxing experience she would pop up with an uppercut to Dan's chin and a hook to his body before stepping back up.

Dan was now struggling, and not able to catch a break! Sophia freed herself and smashed Dan with an uppercut that sent his head back while the body blow further made him stumble back on limp legs. It seemed like Dan was looking like a basic rookie while Sophia was taking over the spar without him being able to do much about it! It was impressive if he didn't admittedly feel a bit embarrassed at his poor showing.

Sophia managed to get out of her dire straits in a stylish fashion, even managing to get Dan away from her. Still, she did not feel confident in having enough steam to outpace him, while she might have had more offence by sheer score, each of Dan's hits was truly debilitating and she still needed to recover from that last slam. To buy herself some time she would circle at a safe distance before cracking a smile. "Ok big boy, have any more for me?"

"Yeah, it takes more than that to keep me down." Dan said although he wasn't liking his chances. He circled as well before trying to move in, lunging low to try to grab hold of Sophia's legs so he could pull forward and take her to the mat by taking her legs out from underneath her! It could set up something for him if the landing jarred her enough... but he also knew she could escape his grasp just as easily.

While not surprised by his answer, Sophia did hope for a break, still no matter her chances she wouldn't just back down. She wasn't quick enough to react to Dan's takedown, only being able to tuck her head and round her shoulders to keep them off the mat. Her legs went wide to act as a sort of a net to try and catch him or keep him away whichever would suit her best at the time. At least that way she could gather some of her strength back.

Dan was thinking of trying a Boston crab but Sophia was moving and adjusting her legs making it hard to lock that in. However he had another idea, something he actually never tried yet. Facing Sophia he tucked each ankle under his arms and began to spin.... and keep spinning! Dan was going for a big swing hoping to sent Sophia flying leaving her disoriented.... hopefully less disoriented than he would end up being from spinning so much.

Sophia completely unexpectedly was grabbed by her legs and spun, for a second she didn't know what was going on and when she caught her bearing it was too late to get out of that situation even if she tried. A few spins later she found herself hurdling through the air towards the side of the ring. Here knowing how to take a fall was useful as she rolled with the force of the throw, taking off the worst of it but still leaving her badly hurt. She managed to sit up, aiding herself on the ropes but when she tried to sit up she fell back down on her butt as the world spun around her.

Dan was a bit wobbly himself but he stayed up, stumbling and making his way to the downed Sophia. Dan tried to pull her up and get behind her. Tina had recently showed him the tiger suplex, and he wanted to give it a try. He pulled Sophia up and hooked her arms from behind, lifting her and sending her to the mat!

Dan kept his back bridged so when Sophia hit the canvas she was being pinned right away! Dan steadied himself hoping her dizziness along with the impact of the move would keep her in place!

Dezoriented, Sophia could do little to stop Dan from grabbing her and sending her through the air once more to crush with a thunderous thud down to the mat, no doubt she would feel the effects of that sparring tomorrow. She grunted and groaned, her legs dangling over her head, the impact at least set her labyrinth back in order but then cam the count.

"One... Two!"

She still had some strength left so she would at least try to get out of her predicament, swinging her legs to the side to get her shoulders off of the mat. Then wriggling away she would try to get her arms free of his grasp before standing back up.

Dan thought he might have had Sophia but she kicked out! He rolled to the side making his way up to his feet. The big man grabbed Sophia by the arm and whipped her towards the far ropes across the ring. He ran the other way looking to bounce off the ropes himself to build momentum. The big man extended his arm hoping to smash into Sophia with a big lariat!
