LAW Apex Match:Nashi Dragneel Vs Yukino Fuyumi The Dragons Apex

Nashi didn’t have much of a plan right now. All she could think was hoping she could win this second round and win the match. She went charging at Yukino planning to hit her hard in the face to send her down the floor!


How naive Nashi was. Instead, Yukino was ready for her. When she came close to the winter idol, Yukino grabbed her arm and put her in a wristlock”AGH!” She groaned as she tried to shake her off. Then before she knew it, Yukino had her legs around her bicep and placed her in a brutal flying armbar”AHHHHHH!!!” The idol screamed as it seemed there was no way of escape from this brutal hold.


Nashi tried to shake her off but to no avail. The audience was on the edge of their seats including Carol and Misa. Will Nashi tap out? Or find a way to reverse it? The audience was wondering that to themselves. Then it finally came out”I….. give… up…..” She said weakly as the bell went off in the ring signaling the second round went to Yukino! The crowd bursted into cheers, as the screen went back to the images of Nashi and Yukino. Yukino’s side of the screen was given a 1 showing that the score was now officially 1-1


“Can I be released now?” She asked Yukino. When she was released she would get up and said”so Yukino wanna take this back to the ring?” She asked wondering if the winter idol wanted to continue fighting in the bathroom, as she was dripping wet. Finally Nashi gestured for 2 water bottles for the pair, and just like magic they were given them. Nashi dranked all of her’s and wiped the water of off her mouth.

The fans watching in the arena could see every move captured by Misa's camera broadcast on the big screen. When they saw Yukino lunge forward, her legs locking into place around Nashi's arm and pulling her to the ground, they burst into cheers at such an incredible move from the white-haired girl - especially when she had fought her way through an intense back-and-forth battle that should well have left her weary and winded. But Yukino couldn't hear a word. To her, there was only her, Nashi, and the pitter-patter of the shower against the walls behind them. She was lost in the thrill of the match, and she was putting every bit of effort she had in her on taking Nashi down - and proving herself to the world in the process!

She clenched her teeth, her legs squeezing tighter around Nashi's arm, and she pulled back with her hips to apply more traction to her partner's shoulder joint, extending it further! Her hold on Nashi's wrist hadn't broken either - and she was going to put just as much pressure there, as she twisted her hand to the side to torque at the joint! Yukino was drawing on all her strength, all in the name of finishing Nashi off. And at last, Nashi could take no more - and signalled her submission!

Hearing her words, Yukino gasped, at first taken by surprise. She was hoping she could get Nashi to tap, but she wasn't sure she'd even see it come to pass. Then, a grin came over her face. She had done it - she had beaten Nashi! It had taken all of her focus and all of her determination, but she had kept at it, pushing through every obstacle in her way - even the pounding assault of the water that left the two of them drenched, and the slippery floors of the shower. And now, she had beaten Nashi - the first opponent to have ever bested her in LAW.

Yukino smiled, feeling her whole body tingling with hope when she knew what this meant. She was improving, and all her training was paying off. At the same time, she knew that this was only the second fall. Now, they were tied. There was just one fall left. One fall that would decide everything. Whoever won this would win it all - the match, and the chance to make it to World Openweight Champion status. Yukino could feel her heart quicken in her chest just thinking of it. It would be a challenge, she knew. There was more at stake than there had been in any match she'd faced before. But...now that she had beaten Nashi, she just might have a chance.

Lost in her thoughts, Yukino had almost forgotten that she was still locked onto Nashi's arm. But then the pink-haired girl reminded her of that fact, and as a blush came to her face, Yukino let go. "Oh..! I'm so sorry, Nashi...guess I got a little carried away, huh?" She rolled aside, getting back to her feet, and she wobbled uneasily on her footing, needing to lean over and rest against the wall to steady herself. The adrenaline coursing through her veins was the only thing keeping her from realizing how tired she was, and now that that had stopped, she was keenly reminded of it all.

She was also reminded that they were still in the showers, and that the two of them were sopping wet. As a chill ran through her, Yukino pulled her arms a little closer to herself with a huff. At the same time, Sanae peered around the corner now that she could see the action had calmed down, hugging a towel around her to cover herself. "Yeah, uh...if you don't mind, some of us are trying to use this room for its intended purpose..."

Yukino blushed, looking back at her and bowing her head. "Sorry..." Then, she took the water from Misa, downing her bottle in one gulp before she held her back up straighter and nodded to Nashi. At once, she felt reinvigorated, and ready to plunge into the next round! "Yeah, I'm ready! Let's go!"

Nashi was finally released from the hold. After being released it took gulping an entire water bottle for get back in the game. She offered Yukino a chance for them to return to the ring for the final bout. Thankfully, Yukino agreed to it and Nashi had an idea”when we go down let’s act like it’s one of our entrances” She whispered into her friends ear.

If Yukino decided to agree this would be a marvelous entrance. Nashi put her arm around Yukino as they walked to the top ramp. The Idol Dragons would talk down smiling and waving to the audience and blowing a few kisses along the way.


Once the pair finally got into the ring, Nashi would step the through the ropes with her partner. Nashi would be in her corner and Yukino in the other side of the ring. The bell rings and with that the third round has began! Nashi would walk to the center of the ring and put her arms up for a lockup”let’s start the way we started the last two!” Nashi asked confidently wanting to offer another test of strength.

Yukino huffed, staying at Nashi's side as the two of them turned back toward the door. She had put herself through a lot, even aside from what blows Nashi had landed against her. Her head was still aching, and she panted for breath. But when she stood by her friend's side, and she thought about what lay ahead of her, Yukino felt reinvigorated; she stood a little taller, and she looked out with a smile on her face. This was it - the final round, the fall to decide everything. Yukino knew there was a lot on the line, and that intimidated her. She knew she would be facing an incredible challenge, and that Nashi would no doubt be motivated to put forth her very best in an effort to keep her down. But she had just beaten Nashi. She'd proven it was possible. For now, it was all up to the two of them to let the best woman win.

As they returned to the arena, Yukino heard what Nashi had to say. She nodded her head, leaning in closer to squeeze her hand. She remembered what they had promised each other at the start of this match - and now that it had come down to this, at the tense final round of what had already been one of the most hyped-up matches in Apex, that promise held true more than ever. "Yeah...it's all down to this, Nashi. Everyone out there is counting on us to put on a good show. Let's make like the idols we are, and give them something they remember! It doesn't matter who wins or who loses - just that we did our best out there!"

Misa overheard their conversation, and she knew what to do. Handing the camera back over to a crew member, she ducked around the corner to shoot a text to the sound technicians. And just as Yukino and Nashi stepped back onto the entrance ramp, their music played once again, and the lights shone down, giving the fans an encore of their entrance! At first Yukino gasped, not seeng it coming. But she slung her arm around Nashi's side, holding the other up to wave to the stands. And when they saw the two competitors making a triumphant return to the ring, in the flesh once again, the fans gave the Idol Dragons a hero's welcome! Yukino looked back at her friend, whispering to her. "Do you hear that, Nashi..? They're...cheering for us..." she muttered. Tears began to well up in her eyes. It wasn't about who would win any more, or whether one would go on for the title. Everyone watching believed in Nashi and Yukino, and they were counting on them to deliver a match worth remembering!

But Yukino was just as willing to give them that! When she climbed into the ring, the white-haired girl bent her knees and sank into a stance, raising her hands. She nodded to Nashi in agreement. "Let's do it!!" And, as the bell rang, Yukino charged Nashi once again, going to grab her by the hands and shove against her with her full weight, her teeth clenched and her brow furrowed as she fought to take control! The final battle had begun!

It was all up to this. The final round for which one of The Idol Dragons would win for a shot of the open weight championship! Nashi knew there was a lot writing on this one round, it would be Do or Die. Which made it all the more surprising when the Idols came down for a second entrance. Instead of them coming down all serious they showed their true colors, just two best friends wanting to entertain the world no matter what.

Nashi wrapped her arm around Yukino’s neck and waved to her side. When Yukino whispered into her ear she replied with”off course! No matter who wins we know we made the crowd happy!” She said back to her friend. Nashi noticed the tears and decided to wipe them off for her friend”don’t cry, be happy Yukino we finally made into the big leagues” She said with a determined smile on her face.


Now back in the ring the idols were looks at each other. The crowd was in silent, to them it felt like a western gun duel, who’d strike first. Then Nashi broke the silence and offered a lock up to which Yukino graciously accepted. The idols were locked in, Yukino tried to push back, but Nashi held her ground. It was a complete stand still. Nashi on the other hand wanted to try something, she pulled their arms away and then tried to disengage the lock up. If successful Nashi would behind Yukino and put her in a full Nelson, except would aim to raise her up for a Dragon Suplex!

When she saw the whole arena joined in applause, all chanting for the Idol Dragons, Yukino couldn't help but be moved. Her lip began to quiver and her heart thumped in her chest as her eyes welled up with tears. She had been an idol, performing on stage to sold-out crowds, for years now, and yet, it wasn't until this moment that made Yukino truly feel like she was a star. It didn't matter what happened in the match or how it ended, she thought to herself. What mattered was that the two of them were going to take it to the top, and they were going to put forth everything they had in them to show the world what it looked like when the Idol Dragons were competing at their peak performance. Even if she had to face her best friend, even if she was forced to either abandon her own hopes for the title or deprive Nashi of hers...none of that would matter. Now, Yukino knew, it would all be worth it.

Nashi knew that, too. And though Yukino was already getting misty-eyed from hearing all the fans cheering from her, what really warmed her heart was when Nashi wiped her tears. Yukino smiled wider, nodding her head to her. Even after the two of them had fought hard, even when they'd bludgeoned each other and slammed each others' heads into the shower walls, they were still willing to stand by each others' sides as friends, to support each other, and to lift one another up. Nashi had accepted it, too - she knew at last that she had the legions of devoted fans she had always hoped to rally behind her in the ring, and everyone was eager to see how they would end this match. It wasn't about the title any more - it was something that meant more than any title ever could.

Of course, there was no time for standing around. If the two girls knew they were here to make an impact, they were going to get started on delivering on that promise! The moment Nashi moved in closer, Yukino was ready to meet her in turn - as quick as a striking snake, she lunged in to grab the pink-haired girl by the wrists, shoving back on her with just as much force as Nashi had used to push her back. She shoved forward with her shoulders, pressing her chest up against Nashi's as she grit her teeth to bear through the pressure. If Yukino had her way, she was going to force Nashi to break her position!

But just then, Nashi did something that took Yukino by surprise. Just as the white-haired girl was leaning in closer to steer her back, she broke away from the lockup, swerving behind her opponent! At first, Yukino let out a gasp, suddenly feeling the force she was pushing up against give way. She took a step forward, doubling over. And she gave Nashi just enough of an opening to throw her arms around her, pulling her back in a nelson hold! With a yelp, Yukino was pulled up against her friend, twisting and turning back and forth to try to pull free. But that was just the beginning - just then, Nashi threw herself back in an arc, swinging Yukino over her head and sending her crashing down into the canvas!

As the white-haired girl landed with a thud, she let out a scream, her whole body rattled by the impact, and the ring shook underneath her. Her legs kicked up in the air, practically folding herself over in half! Nashi had definitely kicked this fall off with a bang!

The final round just began with an electrifying opening! Both idols were locked in tight with each other. During the lock up they were binded together as if two actual dragons were wrapped around each other trying to gain control! After a minute of fighting for dominance we had a winner of the lockup. Nashi broke it and went behind preforming a devastating dragon suplex that shook the ring!


Nashi got on her knees brushing off the sweat from her forehead”Well Yukino, let’s see how you like a good submission hold, this was one Carol taught me ” She said to her best friend with a burning fire in her eyes! The idol crawled over and sput her opponent's legs in a figure four position hed off the ground and while pulling back on their arms!

“Meet my new submission hold! Dragon’s Den!!” She shouted as the crowd cheered at the sight of Nashi’s new submission hold. All that was left on their minds is “Will Yukino tap?”

When Nashi had picked Yukino up for a dragon suplex and hurled her into the mat, the impact she made was enough to leave her dazed - her eyes were glazed over, and she groaned hoarsely under her breath as her gaze drifted lazily around the ceiling, taking in the lights shining down on her from above. However, she would soon get a rude awakening. What would finally shake Yukino back to her senses came as Nashi pulled her into a figure four leglock; as her legs were twisted back on themselves, she shuddered, feeling a shock run through her spine as she felt the yank on her nerves. But this was no mere figure four leglock. This was something far beyond - and Nashi wasn't finished with it!

Just then, Nashi thrust her legs into the air, causing Yukino to dangle upside down from them - while at the same time she grabbed her by the wrists, pulling her arms closer! Yukino's eyes went wide as she let out a scream. When she had known Nashi for as long as she had, and when the two had spent so much time training together, Yukino was sure that she knew and understood her partner's fighting style, and she could anticipate whatever she would throw at her. But she had never heard of a move quite like this - and she wasn't prepared for it! If Nashi had been training with Carol, Yukino realized, there were clearly a few tricks she hadn't shared with her!

The fans cheered even louder at the sight of such a devastating new move from Nashi, and it was clear Yukino was feeling the pressure - as her vertebrae began to bend and pop against the force, her face grew red, and she let out a scream as she thrashed her head up and down from the canvas. But Yukino knew one thing. This round had just begun - it was no time to end it! She had pledged to give the fans something to remember. And she knew full well she could do much beter than this! The referee moved into place to ask Yukino if she gave up - but the Winter Idol snorted under her breath, shaking her head. She could barely even form words through all the strain, but she knew she would stand defiant!

A while back, during their training, Nashi asked to Carol to teach her a move for this match. Thankfully Carol agreed to teach the Idol. It was a grueling training session, Nashi was put in the hold multiple times by the legendary wrestler. The move caused Nashi to tap out multiple times until she understood how to use the move. Once she finally mastered it, Nashi knew she had to reveal it in her battle against Yukino here and now!


Nashi could hear the screams of agony coming from Yukino. Nashi couldn’t see her face but knew it had to be a face that was on the verge of tears. She couldn’t bare to think of the pain her partner was going through. She continued to hold Yukino, hoping this would make her tap out! Then it happened… when Yukino was asked if she surrenders, despite not being able to form a sentence, she shook her head in defiance. Nashi gasped seeing how far Yukino had truly came into her own person and wrestler through their training.


The Idol Dragon smirked and said”Well Yukino, you truly are incredible” Her smirk turned into a light smile, as to everyone’s surprised, Nashi released Yukino from the hold. Nashi let go and allowed her to drop to the floor, as Nashi rose to her feet. She looked down and said”don’t worry, I’m not loosing, but that was my secret move and you being able to take it shows to me that I don’t want this match to ever end” She gave her friend a cheeky grin and smile waiting for her to get up.

When the Idol Dragons had trained under Carol Barlet, the two had been just as inseparable as always - any new lesson they embarked upon, and any step forward they took in their careers, they wanted to be at each others' side for. They were a team, after all - they had been all their lives. Yukino thought she knew everything Nashi had in store for her. She thought she would be prepared. But now, Nashi had boasted of having another trick up her sleeve, and pulled out a move Yukino had never seen before! After the inital shock wore off, Yukino became all too aware of the truth. Even through all the time they spent training together, Carol still had some secrets she was keeping from her - and the beaming grin on the veteran's face as she sat up straighter in her seat told everyone what her role in this was. She wanted the Idol Dragons to stay on their toes, to make sure there would always be some impetus for them to fight their hardest whether they were friends or not. And it seemed her gambit had paid off!

Now Yukino was being stretched to her limit. She whimpered and shuddered as she felt all the force of Nashi's hold bearing down on her - the higher the pink-haired girl hefted her legs in the air, the more Yukino could feel her spine curling in on itself, her back buckling against all the weight of her own body. Her teeth clenched tightly shut, and her face grew red from the strain, letting only muffled groans escape from her throat. She didn't want to tap out - she didn't want the match to end now. Not when the final round had just started, and when she still had so many more tricks up her sleeve to show! There was no way she would let things end before she even had the chance to put her full potential on display! And yet...when she felt as though her back could snap any minute, it was hard to resist the urge! Nashi wasn't about to let go any time soon, and Yukino didn't know how much more she could take. Surrender might have been her only option...

...but, before she could tap, Nashi let go of the hold!

Yukino flopped over forward with a yelp; her body was so sore she crumpled under its weight, and she sank face-first into the canvas. But as she shook herself out and caught her breath, she rolled to her back, looking back up at Nashi. When she did, her eyes were wide, and her mouth hung agape with shock. She couldn't believe that Nashi would have actually let her go. Not when she almost had her. Was she going easy on her? All of the fans were just as surprised as Yukino was, and many a cry of "WHAT?!" was heard through the stands. But soon, all would become clear. Nashi wasn't going easy on Yukino at all - she was so impressed by her dedication that she wanted to give her the chance to show off what else she could do!

A grin flashed across Yukino's face as she nodded her head to her childhood friend. "Heh...thanks, Nashi." Then she pushed herself back up to her feet; she wobbled a little on her sore legs, but she dug her heels into the mat all the same, keeping herself steady. There, she looked up at Nashi with a smirk, her hands clenched into fists as she bent at the knees to assume a fighting stance.

"...And I'm not done yet, either!!" With that, Yukino charged straight at Nashi, taking off as fast as her legs could carry her! As she came close, she would whip her arm around in an arc, trying to strike Nashi in the chest with a lariat!
