Mara Ashford vs. Finlay Zeffer - Playful Wager

Hitting Finlay with a shining wizard, Mara quickly stopped her momentum and looked at her opponent. Seeing him downed, Mara knew that she needed to see if that shining wizard could do the trick or not, so she would move over and make sure that Finlay was on his back. Then, she would place herself on top of him, pressing her own bust against his chest as she would reach down for his leg, hooking it with her arm.

Mara was going for the pin, and the referee would come over to count for the pin, slapping the mat.

Getting taken down by Mara's shining wizard Finlay would groan in pain, but at least had managed to brace himself for it, and thus the damage hadn't been as bad as if he wasn't expecting it to begin with. Naturally though Mara would roll Finlay over and climb on top of him, going for a pinfall attempt. One where she was laying almost totally on top of him with one leg lifted up. 'I don't think so!' He thought to himself as he flung his lower body up, kicking his legs out from under Mara to break the pin. If he succeeded though he would try and use the position Mara had gotten in to reach up and wrap his arm around her neck from below while trying to ensnare her waist with his legs for a guillotine choke and body scissors combo!

When Mara tried to pin Finlay, he managed to break it before the count of two, which meant the damage dealt from the shining wizard wasn't as big as she thought. As Mara prepared herself for her next move, looking to continue with her momentum, her opponent suddenly wrapped his arm around her neck as he wrapped his legs around her body, putting her into a guillotine choke and body scissor combo!

"Wahhh!!" Mara squealed out in surprise as she found herself in the hold. She tried to free herself, bringing her hands to both Finlay's arm and legs, but for the time being, she remained trapped in the hold, unable to break free. "Nnnnghhh..."

Despite the pain he was in Finlay would manage to break out of the pin and catch Mara in the guillotine + bodyscissor combo! Panting still from the pain his back was in Finlay knew this was his best chance to equalize the match right now. Squeezing Mara tight between his arm and legs he would shift and move his body against hers to keep the Ashford locked down despite her grabbing his limbs. Although, this also had the effect of rubbing his groin and abs against Mara's stomach and chest!

Held in the hold where she was trapped in the guillotine choke and body scissor, Mara struggled in her attempt to break free. She blushed as she felt Finlay's crotch against her belly. Of course, she didn't want to be distracted by this as she would muster her effort to free herself. So, after a while, Mara would clench her fists before she tried to drive them right at Finlay's sides, hoping that those strikes would discourage him from continuing the hold.

Keeping Mara locked in the hold Finlay kept squeezing, trying to win the match outright here and now by choking the woman out! But Mara was clever as she was tough, and before long he felt fists impacting against his sides. "Ngh! Agh!" He groaned out in pain from the blows, wincing more and more before finally releasing Mara and rolling away to nurse his aching sides.

Hitting at Finlay's sides with her fists, Mara was finally let go from the body scissor, and she rolled away from her opponent, moving towards the ropes so that she could recover. She gasped as she pulled herself up, trying her best to regain her bearing as she rose back up onto her feet with the help of the ropes. It seemed that she would need a while to regain her strength.

"Ergh..." Mara glanced at her opponent, who had also rolled away after releasing her from the hold. For the time being, Mara would stay at the ropes, regaining her strength and catching her breath. At the same time, she would keep her eyes on Finlay so that she could see what he was up to. Her body was slick with sweat and her hair matted against her forehead due to her sweat.

Forced to release his submission on his opponent, Finlay would be forced to roll back and get some distance, eventually pushing himself up to his feet while holding his ribs, still wincing in lingering pain. 'Damn.. but that definitely drained her a bit. Gotta start thinking of how to end this.' He thought to himself while watching Mara starting to standing, the girl obviously keeping an eye on him as he did so.

Taking a deep breath to prepare Finlay would start to approach Mara, slow and with his arms up inviting another grapple. Any speedy or aerial attack would likely be countered, so his best option was to try and keep things slow and steady before leveraging his strength to get her in one last hold and end this.

Breathing hard, Mara would rise back up to her feet, brushing aside the stray strands of hair off her eyes as she then looked at Finlay. Seeing Finlay inviting her for another grapple, Mara had decided to accept it, bringing her hands up, and the two of them were locked up with each other again. But this time, Mara had one thing in her mind as she would try to get her right leg between Finlay's before she tried to hook it between one of his legs.

While grappling with her opponent, Mara would then try to yank at his leg, hoping to make him lose his balance. From there, she would attempt to make him fall backwards, with her ending up on top of him. She needed to ensure that she would be at the top so that she could capitalize on that position afterwards.

Thus far the match between Mara and Finlay had been pretty evenly matched, neither being able to outright defeat or outmatch the other, each having some form of counter or reversal ready for the other. A big part of that being just how well they understood each others strengths and weaknesses. Where Finlay was larger and stronger, Mara was smaller and more agile, with the two's technical skill being roughly even.

Now the two would lock up once again, their hands meeting as the pushed and struggled against one another, Finlay obviously looking to try and overwhelm Mara. However the Ashford heir would pull out the advantage, using her leg to hook his and trip him! 'Shit!' He thought to himself as he fell backwards onto the mat, Mara on top of him making him blink slightly at... how nice that felt, and how compromising the position was, just enough to give Mara an opening.
