Chika Igarashi vs Himeko - Kendo Stick Match

Chika's stun lasted shorter than even she thought, as Himeko quickly approached her. The Raven Knight had to think fast, or else the Steel Princess would leave her bruised, hurting...and potentially bloodied all over!

Looking down, she saw Himeko's foot sliding towards her kendo stick, trying to kick it from her grip. Chika would block Himeko’s foot with her own, before lifting her stick as Himeko's came at a downward swing to block it!

From there, she would try and make one more step forward, trying to drive her knee into her arch rival's stomach, trying to go on the offensive for the first time in the match!

Himeko's foot moved forward, but it didn't make contact with the shinai. As Chika's sword rose Himeko's Her eyes glanced up at Chika, seeing the life back in them. Shit. Her swing missed its mark, and her body already committed to the motion. It was too late to step back and bring her guard up. Whatever was coming was going to hurt like hell.

"Guh-!" And the hard knee she received from the Raven Knight forced the Princess back, staggering to regain her balance as she tried forcing air back into her lungs after losing it. Dammit-!

Chika managed to get control of the match back, stunning Himeko with a knee to her gut. Both women saw the match differently right now. Himeko tried to fight this as if the duo were in a sword fight, but with Chika getting the advantage, it now felt more like a regular wrestling match with weapons!

Chika stepped back, trying to wind her stick back as she tried to swing it into her rival’s gut!

Sonnuva- Forced, labored breaths left Himeko as she forced her body to focus on inhaling oxygen. Immediately after the gut check Himeko shifted her weight onto her sword, using it as a prop to keep her upright. Shit. Her at the ground, then she forced her head up to send that glare Chika's way, seeing the windup and the realizing the target. C'mon, move dammit! She forced another inhale, pushing herself up and backing up just a little to late.

"Hg-!" Again the Princess nearly doubled over on impact, only saved from completely collapse by the blade in her hand. She backed out just enough to keep that blow from sending her down, but the little air she got in instantly left.

"Hn-!" With a huff and a shove of her shoulders Himeko pushed herself upright, her shinai up and in front of her as she kept her feet firmly planted as she waited. Charging in on empty would be a death wish, no matter how sturdy her body was. Defense was the best option for now.

Chika finally managed to start breaking through, with her powerful attacks keeping Himeko breathless and on the defensive!

The moment the Steel Princess pushed herself to her feet, Chika rushed in, trying to keep her attacks going as she tried to slam her kendo stick across her hated rival's face to finally bring her off her feet!

Seeing Chika move toward her the Steel Princess braced herself for the coming attack, bringing her shinai up to block the first heavy strike toward her face as wood clacked against wood and echoed out. "Gh-!" The hit was intense, but Himeko held her ground, her knees barely buckling under the force of the strike.

"Cocky little-!" Himeko hissed out in the a breath, quickly stepping forward while guiding Chika's blade to the side away from her. A slash a this range was be foolish, the blades were too long for it. Instead Himeko went for a hard shoulder check to try and force Chika back and unbalance her while getting her in range of her blade.

"Tch...", Chika let out as her shot was blocked. She tried to pull her weapon back to step away for another attack...but Himeko would push her blade against Chika's getting it completely out of the way as she stepped forward, and pushed the Raven Knight backwards with her shoulder!

"Agh!", she grunted, trying to go the aggressive route and swing her stick sideways as Himeko approached her!

Finally... It wasn't much, but that break in the rhythm of strike gave Himeko just enough breathing room to get into a more readied stance, just in time to catch Chika swinging for her again. Feet planted in front of her and her body ready, Himeko took the full brunt of Chika's strike with her shinai, her body flinching to the side on impact.

"Tch," Gritting her teeth, Himeko shifted her hips and pulled back, bringing her blade back and thrusting it for a sharp jab aimed at Chika's shoulder.

Although Chika’s hit was only partially absorbed by her rival’s block, Himeko managed to tank the attack, and go on counter-offensive, stepping back while driving her kendo stick forward, jabbing at Chika’s swinging arm’s shoulder!

”MGH!”, the Raven Knight winced, trying to push her attack, though not able to swing her weapon yet…instead, trying to swing at her rival’s face for a hook!

Okay, Himeko was finally getting some honest hits in now. Chika's aggression had slowed just enough to not only get a short rest but also a counterattack, and the Princess quickly pulled her shinai back and held it in front of her, readying herself for the next motion. "Phew," It was annoying to play defensive for so long, but turtling was a common tactic of hers. But the shoulder strike did little to completely sway her opponent. Chika was charging forward again, and Himeko only responded by pulling her sword back again for another jab. And this dumbass only knows how to swing that damn sword one wa-

"Guh-!"

Himeko's head snapped back, a flash of white and a spray of saliva leaving her mouth.

The Princess's eyes followed Chika's sword, expecting a one-handed mad swing. A punch... a punch was unexpected in a sword fight.

"Agh-" Himeko's body slackened for a split-second, her eyes looking at Chika in both surprise and irritation as she gritted her teeth. "Shit..."
