The King's Coronation! Bella King (D) vs Melody Seperior

That Bella would be able to take Melody from the back was a given in her eyes, she had been practising footwork since she was old enough to walk after all, and though she was far from a powerhouse her grip was strong enough that once she had Melody wrapped up the greenette wouldn't be able to break it before Bella would toss her back! Though when it came to wrestling Bella was still very much the novice when compared to Melody, so though Bella had thought her attack to be perfect Melody was able to counter it by flipping and landing on her feet, taking the smug smile off of Bella's face as she realised what had happened just a second too late.

Before Bella could turn to keep Melody away from her vulnerable back the pokemon look-alike would grab her by the waist and demonstrate how to properly perform a German Suplex. Sadly her kindness was lost on Bella as the redhead was more concerned with the impact to her shoulders and the back of her neck! Bella let out a pained cry as her body was folded by the impact, her legs and rear hanging in the air tantalisingly for a moment before gravity brought them back down and Bella's body flopped onto the mat "Uuuuuugh..."

With Melody "showcasing" to Bella how to do a proper German Suplex, she would leap to her feet and rush toward the ropes, choosing not to go for a pin off the Suplex...instead, she would decide to showcase some more moves to Bella, grabbing the redhead by her ponytail to her feet, and trapping her head underneath her arm...before lifting her up, as if motioning for a Vertical Suplex...only to instead drop her straight down onto her head for a skull-shattering Brainbuster!

After being schooled by Melody and getting subjected to a discombobulating German Suplex Bella was fairly out of it for the next few moments, giving Melody more than enough time to work on her follow up attack. Thinking back to her street fighting roots Bella was glad that they were fighting in a wrestling ring and not a street or an alleyway, if she'd taken that attack on concrete she was certain she would have been knocked out!

Though that gratitude would soon fade as Bella was once again lifted up off the mat, getting an upside down view of the ring that left a lump of coal in her throat. The only good thing about these moves were that because of how delayed they were it gave Bella the time to brace herself for impact, or at least it would have if Bella had correctly predicted what move her serpentine opponent had in store for her. Instead of getting slammed onto her back again Bella would find herself dropping straight down onto her skull, letting out a single sharp cry of pain before she fell down limply onto her back.

After taking that impact Bella wasn't moving anytime soon, her chest rose and fell slowly as she blankly looked up at the stadium lights and groaned.

Bella would be left stunned and dazed as Melody stood up after executing her Brainbuster. She wondered if her foe has had enough, and if a pinfall would get her a victory right here and now...but she knew she couldn't be too sure.

As such, her final move in her current onslaught would be to rush to a nearby corner, and practically try to run up the top rope, first placing her leg onto the middle turnbuckle...then the top one, before trying to leap off it with a Moonsault, aiming her body for Bella's! If successful, the greenette would firmly grab her rival's leg to try and pin her for the 3!

After taking a brain buster that certainly lived up to the name Bella flopped onto her back and lay there unmoving, the only indication that she was still alive was the slow rise and fall of her chest and the fluttering of her eyes. Apparently that wasn't good enough for Melody, who made an immediate dash to the turnbuckle so that she could quickly ascend it and use it as a springboard to catapult her body at Bella's! In her stunned state Bella couldn't move out of the way in time, so she was unwittingly used as a landing mat for the airborne fighter and crushed by her weight and the forces of gravity "Gwaaaaugh!!!" The King cried out in agony as the breath was pressed from her lungs and spit flew from her mouth!

After delivering such a devastating move onto her highness Melody would look to follow up on her combo by hooking Bella's leg for an attempt at a pinfall! The referee slid down onto their front and drove their palm onto the mat for a count, and then again for another without interruption, and for a moment it was looking like Bella was already done for after all that big talk and bravado! But just before the referee's hand could begin it's final trip to the mat Bella would manage to buck her body hard enough to make Melody release her shoulder and break the pin!

After managing to avoid an early loss Bella would attempt to scramble away from Melody, still feeling dizzy from all the slams with an incredible ache in her skull but the urgency of almost getting pinned forced her to fight through the fog in her head. If she was able to get distance from the grassy haired woman Bella would start to rise back to her feet, wiping her mouth with the back of her hand and unfortunately taking a smudge of her lipstick with it as she glared at Melody "Don't get too cocky... that was just round one!"

Shortly after the second count, Bella would kick out of the pinfall off the Moonsault. Melody wasn't too disappointed, the momentum of the match was still in her favor...But she couldn't rest, not when she had a monarch to slay.

Melody rose back up to her feet, Bella would roll away to try and get back to her feet, in spite of the punishment Melody inflicted on her.

Melody growled, as she stepped towards the redhead, trying to drive her leg into her foe's side for a kick!

Bella may have endured Melody's onslaught well enough to stay in the match, but the fact of the matter was that the tide of the match still rested firmly in Melody's favour! Bella had taken multiple heavy moves from Melody over the course of the match, and though Melody likely hadn't exactly enjoyed taking Bella's strikes she was in much better condition than the redhead and was looking to keep her lead with a kick swung at her side while Bella was still rising!

At her best Bella could likely have quite easily avoided this hit, but with her legs currently feeling as heavy as lead she didn't have it in her to move out of the way and would just take the attack to her side "Unngh..." Bella hissed in pain as she recoiled from the kick, but at the same time as the kick struck Bella would wrap her arm around Melody's heel to keep her leg in place.

If she was able to pull this off then Bella would take a moment to recover from the kick before raising an elbow and bringing it down on her knee! Should Bella succeed in this attack she would then hook a leg behind the leg Melody is still standing on before attempting to push her shoulder into Melody's torso and sweep her off her feet!

Melody planned to do a follow up after her kick...but Bella has had enough of the greenette's offense. Melody gasped ad she felt Bella's arms around her leg...but before Melody could employ her other leg to fight back, th3 redhead would deliver a hard Elbow onto Melody's knee!

"AAAGH!", Melody cried out, pain stunning her for long enough for Bella to literally sweep her off her foot!

She grunted as she fell onto the ground, hands raised to block whatever her rival had in mind...

Don't get Bella wrong, the kick had hurt, but she was tough enough that she wouldn't let this level of pain hold her back from her goal, which allowed her to catch Melody's leg and use the position to sweep Melody off of her feet! As she didn't want to let Melody recover Bella would immediately move on to her next attack, raising her foot to mislead her fellow brit into believing that she was rearing up for a stomp for the head. But this would prove to be a feint, and Bella would instead jump up and tip herself over so that she would fall down with her elbow aimed to fall down on Melody's chest "Hah!"

Should the Elbow Drop strike true Bella would be laying across an agonised Melody's chest, a position she would take advantage of as she would loop one of her arms around the greenette's head while having it meet the other to have her biceps form a tight headlock, wrenching on her neck to make it difficult to breathe while also keeping her head uncomfortably pressed into Bella's side. If she locked it in she would keep it up to weaken Melody, while also taking the time for taunting now that the battle was more stationary "How is it? Are you enjoying yourself?" she'd question her opponent mockingly.

Instinctively, Melody would cover her face, afraid her rival was going to stomp her head…only for Bella to drop a sharp elbow down onto the greenette’s chest!

”GAAAUH!!!”

The attack would be quickly followed by the redhead wrapping her arms around Melody’s head, driving her bicep into her neck to make it difficult for blood to circulate to her head. Quickly, the Brit would feel faint…

”Mgggh…aagh…”, she let out, unable to even scream as she tried to drive weak elbow to her foe’s side, but the attacks would prove too weak to be fruitful. Melody would try to find her way to her feet, needing a vertical base to try and better counter the hold…
