Re: Lyra Heartfield vs. Yukino Fuyumi: A True Taste of Real Darkness
“This way is forgiveness!” Lyra exclaimed as she sent another kick into Yukino’s mug as her boot hopefully grazed the ice idol’s face.
Lyra then grabbed the ice idol by the neck taking her out to the middle of the ring as the referee wanted the action out of the corner. Lyra then sent her left knee into Yukino’s gut and then got behind her in order to try for a Neckbreaker! If it hit, Yukino would be in for more torture than she bargained for as Lyra tried dropping her left knee on the idol’s face!

Re: Lyra Heartfield vs. Yukino Fuyumi: A True Taste of Real Darkness
Yukino had no idea what Lyra's exclamation meant - but it didn't matter. She didn't have much time to ponder what was happening to her when the fortune teller was on the move, laying into her with a volley of devastating blows! As her breaths slowed and her body grew tense, Yukino's head turned upward to look at Lyra - just in time for her to kick up into her jaw, sending her swinging back in an arc as she let out a scream! Yukino was slumped in the corner a moment ago, but now her balance had given out entirely, and she dropped straight onto her back, her arms and legs splaying out around her. Which left her in even more trouble, as she was now wide open for what Lyra would do to her next!
The referee warned Lyra about backing off, but this did her opponent no favors. When Lyra grabbed her by the throat, the white-haired girl looked back at her with a gasp - yet all that left her throat was a hoarse wheeze. Lyra dragged her along, leaving her stumbling behind - she knew she was only approaching her fate, but when her head was spinning, and she was only standing up by Lyra's hold on her throat, she had no choice but to follow wherever Lyra wanted to take her. Soon, Lyra's knee slammed into Yukino's stomach, and she let out a wail of pain as she was thrown forward from the blow, her hands shooting down to clutch at her gut. And just moments later, she would be thrown back the other direction - as Lyra whipped her head around by the neck to send her straight into the mat!
The fans winced in sympthy for Yukino as she came crashing into the canvas with a scream, her body buckling against the force of the impact. She clutched her neck, rolling onto her side. Her whole body was wracked with pain, and she could barely think straight. But even as she rubbed at her still-aching face, when she looked back up, she could see one thing through her parted fingers - Lyra was still right above her, and now she was looking to bring her knee down right onto her head! Yukino gasped, going stiff as her muscles locked up in fear. She knew that if this hit, it could well spell her doom. But she also knew she still had the slightest few seconds to escape. Maybe, just maybe, it could work!
Yukino threw all of her weight to the side, trying to roll out of the way so that Lyra would drop down into the mat on her knee instead. If that worked, she hoped it could buy her some time to roll back to the ropes to get enough distance to recover. If this didn't work, nothing would - she was all too gravely aware of that!

Re: Lyra Heartfield vs. Yukino Fuyumi: A True Taste of Real Darkness
Lyra had gotten the upper hand for the first quarter of this match and Yukino was being shown up at every possible moment. She had prepared her knee to bring it up and then down on Yukino’s face hoping to cause more trouble for the ice idol. However, Lyra did not account for Yukino’s adrenaline to activate her flight response to roll out as the knee struck the mat hard and Lyra screamed in pain. She switched to sitting on her better knee and rubbing the bad knee she had before she closed her eyes getting a short vision. Lyra saw Yukino recover and run the ropes running to hit a Shining Wizard which she might have to take should her knee not heal up in time.

Re: Lyra Heartfield vs. Yukino Fuyumi: A True Taste of Real Darkness
Yukino almost couldn't believe it. She knew she was facing an uphill battle - she was still trying to shrug off the aches and pains of the damage she had already taken, and Lyra didn't show any signs of slowing down any time soon. It had only been a split-second decision that she had tried to get out of the way, and when her head was as spinning as much as it was, she didn't know if she would even be able to dodge in time. But as she rolled over on her side, she propped her elbow against the mat, where she would look up and see that Lyra's foot had come down against the canvas hard, leaving her doubled over and stunned! At the last minute, everything had worked! The white-haired girl panted for breath, but she knew she couldn't sit around and watch for long. As lucky as she knew she was, she was sure it would only be a matter of time before Lyra recovered. She had set up an opportunity for herself - now, she needed to act on it before it was gone!
Sucking in a long, deep breath, Yukino got her feet underneath her and pushed herself back up. She teetered from side to side, but she was willing to bear with it if it meant turning this match around - an opportunity like this, she knew, might not come her way again! She ran toward the ropes, looking to get more momentum to propel herself faster than her weary legs could alone. As she bounced back, she came closing in on Lyra - where she would try and hop up on her raised knee with one long stride, slamming her other knee into her face for the Shining Wizard!
Hopefully, that would be enough to knock Lyra on her back. If it did, Yukino knew she needed to pack on the pressure while she could. She would try and grab for Lyra's bad leg, pulling it up in the air to twist at her joints with an ankle lock!

Re: Lyra Heartfield vs. Yukino Fuyumi: A True Taste of Real Darkness
Lyra held and clutched at her knee rubbing it as she would make Yukinto pay for the mistake she unleashed upon her, but she didn’t notice the winter idol getting back to her feet. It didn’t even register that Yukino was gearing up a counter as she ran the ropes and Lyra felt the pounding of feet against the canvas as she looked up in time for a sudden gasp, Yukino’s knee collided with her face making her spit out as her back hit the canvas and the fortune teller hissed grabbing her face and Yukino took full control of the match. To make matters worse, that was only the beginning of what Yukino had in store for the corrupted disciple of The Anomaly.
Yukino would grab Lyra’s still aching leg and flip the evil wrestler on her stomach lifting her ankle into a powerful ankle lock! Lyra gritted her teeth and made fists with her hands shaking her head. The referee got down on her stomach and asked Lyra how she was feeling before Lyra shot her an evil glare as if to say there was no way in hell she would forefeit. Lyra roared loudly and thrashed around and twisted her leg in Yukino’s grip. She was trying to get loose in order to make Yukino pay for her torture!

Re: Lyra Heartfield vs. Yukino Fuyumi: A True Taste of Real Darkness
When Yukino's knee swung up and connected with Lyra's jaw, a cheer rang down from the stands. Hopping back down to her feet, the white-haired girl's fists tightened with defiance, and she turned toward the stands with a confident smile. She couldn't forget who she was doing this for. No matter how daunting the task might have been, or how implacable Lyra seemed to be, Yukino had to take her down in order to send a message. The world was counting on her to prove that the Selection's meddling wouldn't be tolerated - and, more importantly, that the good people of LAW would stand up to their tricks. The fans needed a hero who could turn everything around; to prove that the Selection wasn't invincible. And she was determined to be the person they needed!
Yukino knew the Shining Wizard wouldn't be enough to take Lyra down for good - but she was prepared for that. She grabbed a hold of her opponent's ankle, going to yank it into the air. Gritting her teeth, she twisted it as hard as she could, intent on forcing as much pain as she could out of the hold. Joint locks were one specialty of Yukino's, and she was hoping to make the most of them here - even if she couldn't get Lyra to tap out, she hoped she could at least slow her down, or weaken any kicks she might throw at her going forward. But Lyra was still fighting back, her body twisting from side to side. Yukino tried her best to keep up, grunting and groaning through clenched teeth as she turned in tune with her opponent to try and ride out Lyra's resistance. But she was soon starting to realize she would have to keep switching things up to keep Lyra on her toes. Luckily, she had a plan.
Still holding onto Lyra's foot, Yukino would bring her own foot up to rest on Lyra's knee. If the fortune teller stayed still long enough, she would try to stomp straight downward to knock her leg back down into the mat for a legbreaker! And if that worked, she would grab for Lyra's other leg to do the same to that, too!

Re: Lyra Heartfield vs. Yukino Fuyumi: A True Taste of Real Darkness
Lyra groaned and hisses as her ankle was twisted by Yukino’s hands, but the ice idol was having trouble keeping hold. Yukino had her own backup plan hitting a leg breaker on Lyra’s held knee as Lyra screamed in pain and gritted her teeth. This wouldn’t stand! She was a focal part of The Selection and this ice idol had her down like a tamed stray mutt. She muttered an inaudible chant calling on The Anomaly to lend her more of his influence and his power as Yukino looked to target Lyra’s other leg. Lyra roared violently springing up to grab Yukino by the throat with her right hand!
Lyra wobbled a bit as her leg hurt from the constant twisting and the proceeding slam on the mat. However, she would ride it out to hit a Chokeslam on Yukino! If that worked, Lyra would then get on her knees grabbing the ice idol’s head trying to smack it into the canvas. Lyra was in a feral frenzy state! The Anomaly took ahold of her and made her stronger to fight back against this lowlife.

Re: Lyra Heartfield vs. Yukino Fuyumi: A True Taste of Real Darkness
When one of Lyra's legs slammed down against the mat, the crowd burst into cheers for Yukino. At long last, someone had come forward who was willing to face the Selection head-on, and perhaps even to put them in their place - to let them know that there was no place for their tricks in LAW. When their long-awaited comeuppance was coming at the hands of one half of a popular idol duo, it was even better! Yukino looked up proudly with a grin on her face, tilting her chin to the sky. She might have been new to wrestling, but she was ready to be the hero these people needed.
Of course, she knew she couldn't stop now. She was already bending down to go after her opponent's other leg. But Lyra was far from over. Just then, she shoved herself back up, her arm shooting forward to grab Yukino by the throat! At once, the white-haired girl's jaw dropped, and she froze in place, staring back at Lyra in horror. She had no idea that Lyra even had it in her to take such damage and bounce back like nothing happened. Let alone to do what she did next - as she hoisted Yukino straight up into the air!
Yukino had been intimidated by what her opponent could do before - now, she was all but panicking. Her heart pounded, her body trickled with a cold sweat, and she kicked her legs in the air, fighting to try and get Lyra to back away from her. Not only was her endurance incredible, she had shocked Yukino with her strength when she managed to hoist her so high off the ground despite her smaller size. She didn't know if there was anything she could do to stand up against such a foe! And now, with the pressure building around her throat, Yukino began to gag and gasp. She reached up to pull at Lyra's hands, shaking her head as much as she could in a desperate show of resistance. But there was nothing she could do to save herself - and she was going nowhere but straight down!
Yukino landed against the mat with enough force to send out the sound of a thunderclap, shaking the canvas under her landing. Her arms dropped limp at her sides, and the air was knocked out of her lungs from the impact, leaving her head spinning. And Lyra still wasn't done - she hopped down on top of Yukino, grabbing her by the head and slamming it into the mat again and again! Each time it landed, Yukino let out another wail, her body writhing with pain. She began to buck wildly with her hips and back - now, she just wanted to get Lyra off of her, for the sake of her own survival!

Re: Lyra Heartfield vs. Yukino Fuyumi: A True Taste of Real Darkness
Lyra had to be subdued by the referee and taken off Yukino as the official argued with the fortune teller threatening a DQ if she ever did something like that again. Lyra hissed at the referee and the official had enough sense to back off, but had to show even a dark entity that this was still a normal rules match. If Lyra didn’t want to follow the rules, then she could cost herself the victory. Not like it mattered much to Lyra. She couldn’t care too much about the rules or even losing by a meaningless margin. This darkness already proven Yukino wasn’t the hero to stop it.
Lyra grabbed Yukino up by the hair as the referee warned her again and headed over to the area of the ring by the timekeeper’s side. This was another warning shot to Lyra if she overstepped. Lyra then low-blowed Yukino in the groin making the idol go down on the canvas and the referee had seen enough. Lyra wanted to test the official’s patient and tolerance so she could be handed a present of a DQ loss. The referee called the timekeeper and announcer over to make her ruling.
“Lyra Heartfield has low-blowed Yukino Fuyumi which is a violation of the rules. Yukino is the winner by way of disqualification,” The referee announced, but Lyra brought her back up and glared her down making the referee go wide-eyed.
“What was that?” Lyra asked.
“Nothing! Nothing! The match is still on! Forget I said anything!” The referee replied as she cowered on her knees so Lyra would spare her.
Lyra looked down with a heated glare and the outcry of boos came from the crowd. Yukino had this match won and Lyra went the route of intimidation to reverse the result immediately. What lengths wouldn’t The Selection go to get what they wanted?

Re: Lyra Heartfield vs. Yukino Fuyumi: A True Taste of Real Darkness
Even if a few fans were booing Lyra before, and cheering their encouragement for Yukino to get back up and fight on, the majority of them had fallen silent by this point. It was growing apparent that Lyra wasn't out to win the match any more, if that was even her goal in the first place. No, she just wanted to hurt Yukino, and she wasn't going to let any rules or referee decisions get in the way. Everyone was worried for the Winter Idol's safety. No one wanted to see what might happen to her next - and yet, no one could bear to look away either, too transfixed by the horror of Lyra's vicious assault.
The referee was no less worried for Yukino, and she warned Lyra that if things got any worse she'd be kicked out of the match. But Yukino was hardly in any shape to recognize her salvation. She sank lower into the mat, panting for breath as she stared back with glazed-over eyes. Her head was spinning, and she could barely keep Lyra in focus, let alone the official who was supposed to be coming to her aid. Lyra wouldn't even be deterred by the threats, either. That much was apparent - not only did she haul Yukino up by the hair, causing her to yelp in pain, but she swung a kick right between the girl's legs! At once, Yukino let out a scream. Her knees buckled and she began to sink lower as a numbing pain rippled through her body; she panted and groaned, and her eyes began to water. When Lyra released her, she dropped to her knees, barely able to keep herself up. If nothing else told her, Yukino was keenly aware now that as long as she was around Lyra, she was in grave danger.
But it seemed as though this had been a step too far. At last, the ref made her presence known, declaring the match would be over with Lyra disqualified! At the sound of her voice, Yukino gasped, but she looked up with a hopeful smile. At last, her torment was going to end. More than that - at last, someone had decided they'd had enough with the Selection and their meddling! Something was finally going to be done!
Even the fans had begun to cheer - but they quickly went silent when they saw what happened next. Lyra spun back around to face the referee, and the look in her eye was enough to send her to her knees, begging for mercy! When Yukino saw this, her jaw dropped, and the color drained away from her face. Just when she thought she was safe, things would only get worse - a lot worse. Now, there was nothing standing between her and Lyra's terrifying brutality - and the Selection had proven they were threatening enough to reverse even the decision of a referee! Nothing could hope to stop them!
The white-haired girl shuddered, her teeth clenching in a snarl. She wanted to snap at Lyra - she could think of nothing lower in wrestling than threatening a referee. And yet, when she looked back at Lyra, the confidence melted away from her. Even when she tried to rise to her feet, she sank back down with a pained whine as she was reminded of the aches wracking her entire body. She was vulnerable - and there was a monster staring her down!
