Tiki Lowell vs Raina Jaeger: LAW Apex Main Event Match

Despite her pain, Tiki prepared as well as she could to defend herself from Raina's oncoming attack. The last thing the veteran wanted was to be stuck covering up in the corner, so she'd try to stick the Heavyweight there instead. Tiki's plan was to slip Raina's punch to one side and let the LAWless Champ pass by her, leaving their positions reversed with Raina now in the corner instead of Tiki.

But Raina seemed to have a similar idea, as instead of letting loose her fist, she ducked down and broke to the side as well. What's more, Raina and Tiki chose the same direction, causing them to collide. "Ah!" Tiki yelped. First more in surprise than anything else, but then the veteran soon found herself falling. The Heavyweight's larger frame and lower body positioning allowed her to win the collision and knock Tiki's leg out from under, causing the veteran wrestler to fall. And she fell almost right onto Raina's shoulders.

With Raina's intent already being to get Tiki into a Torture Rack, the Heavyweight was able to adapt and take advantage of the situation and apply the hold onto Tiki. "AHH!" the veteran wrestler screamed out as her back was bent. Despite successfully avoiding an elbow to the back of her head that she didn't know was coming, Tiki had still gotten caught by Raina's big move.

But all was not lost, and Tiki already knew that she'd be spending significantly less time in this Torture Rack than Raina had spent in her Figure Four Leglock. "I agree, bu-UT you missed something," said Tiki, the spike in her voice a response to a crank from Raina. Then, proving her point, Tiki hooked her heel over the top rope to force a break. "We're still right in the corner."

Despite her plan not going exactly as it should have, thanks to some unfortunate similar thinking, the end result was still the same. Catching Tiki off guard Raina had managed to successfully pull the woman over onto her shoulders and bend her down from each end, locking her in a painful torture rack! One that would leave Tiki without many options as Raina got some sweet revenge in for that initial figure four leg lock Tiki had on her not even a minute or two ago.

Of course even with that in mind they WERE still close to the ropes, a fact that Tiki was very acute to make Raina aware of as she reached out and managed to grab hold of the ropes and instigate a rope break from the ref. However Raina wasn't letting go of TIki just yet, prompting the ref to start a count on Raina to potentially dq Raina, but the girl had a plan in mind..

"Trust me I know." Raina said with a teasing smirk on her face as the ref got up to his second count, but she would avoid getting out by releasing Tiki, just not in the way she would be expecting, or hoping for.

Using the proximity to the ropes to her advantage Raina would turn and take a few forceful steps backwards before pushing her torso back while letting go of Tiki's head and legs, aiming to send the older woman over the ropes all together and to the floor below!

Tiki's interest was piqued when Raina appeared perfectly fine with the veteran wrestler getting a rope break. The Heavyweight would have to put Tiki down and disengage before attacking again, and Tiki was still in good enough shape to be able to take any number of actions before Raina could go back on the attack. She couldn't possibly have something to cover everything that the greenette could do.

Then Raina revealed her plan; unceremoniously dumping Tiki over the corner of the ring. With the height of the ring added to Raina's height, the veteran wrestler was dropped over ten feet onto the floor around the ring. "Gah!" Tiki grunted after a hard impact onto her back. The veteran wrestler was able to land with her butt and use her hands to protect the back of her head to cushion the blow, but Tiki had still fallen from a dangerous and painful height.

That doesn't feel like it was legal, thought Tiki as she rose to her feet, glaring up into the ring. But it doesn't look like the ref is going to do anything, so I guess I just have to deal with it. Tiki doubted that Raina was going to just let Tiki back into the ring after throwing her out, so the veteran would have to come up with something.

Tiki would grab the bottom rope and quickly yank it backwards before Raina could attack her hands to stop the veteran. Tiki would try to make it look like she was going to try to use the rope to launch herself either above or between to ropes to get back into the ring. But once Raina got close to the edge to try to gatekeep her, Tiki would let go of the rope, planning for it to snap back into the Heavyweight's shin. If this worked, Tiki would quickly move towards the middle of the side of the ring and simply pull herself up and slide under the ropes to get back in.

Raina smirked softly as she took only a few short steps backwards to send Tiki clear over the ropes and down to the floor below in a crash landing. Naturally the action got a few boos sent her way, but also some cheers for the display of physical strength. Cheers that Raina would reward by flexing her biceps for the crowd as Raina turnd her attention to the ref who was glaring at her. Clearly unhappy with the sketchy move she just did. "What? There's no rule about having to put her down safely." Raina said with a smirk while pointing to her head to emphasize her big brain thinking.

Still as good as that move may have been Tiki likely wouldn't be taken out of the match so easily, regardless of the height the drop she just took. 'I may not be able to keep her down for good out there, but so long as I can keep her out of the ring... I got this thing won.' Raina thought to herself, more than content with gaining a victory by countout as opposed to pinfall or submission.

As if reading her mind the ref would soon start making the count for Tiki as the green haired woman began getting back up to her feet. Turning and bending her knees in preparation Raina watched the older woman like a hawk, ready to break up any attempt by the woman to get back in the ring.

Seeing Tiki pull on the rope Raina's first thought was that the woman would try and sling shot her way back into the ring! "I don't think so!" Raina would say moving in to stop her, only to take said rope smacking into her leg like a rubber band from hell! "Gah!" Raina yelped out as she immediately backed away on one leg, rubbing her leg before glaring at Raina as she oh so casually re entered the ring. "Hilarious." She said with clear annoyance in her voice towards the veteran.

Tiki's misdirection play worked, managing to get herself back in the ring while giving Raina a nice little present at the same time. Though for some reason the Heavyweight didn't seem to appreciate it. "Really? I thought it was supposed to hurt," Tiki snarked at Raina once she had the mat back beneath her feet. That aside, it was time to get back into the fight.

Tiki, knowing that she still couldn't overcome Raina in a clean comparison of strength, would once more go for a bit of misdirection to get her offense started. Even if Raina suspected that Tiki would be up to some trickery again, the wily veteran still had more than a few ways to get her going the wrong way. It was all just a matter of controlling Raina's attention to where she wanted. Accomplish that, and Tiki could do almost anything somewhere else.

Not even trying to make a show of a test of strength, Tiki immediately went wide to Raina's right, looking as if she wanted to get behind her. The veteran positioned herself low, leaned in, and stuck her arm out. Trying to convince Raina that she was going to dive for her legs and start rolling to drag the Heavyweight to the ground, and keep Raina's eyes focused down and behind her to the right.

But just before Tiki would have to commit to going that way, she would shift her weight completely backwards in the opposite direction. Tiki's initial movement was just the windup for a massive spinning heel kick aimed up high at what should be Raina's unprotected blind spot right now: the left side of her head. And even if Raina realized something was up and tried to react, she'd only be turning her face into Tiki's heel. A true bell ringer if it connected.

Tiki had made a big show of how she was entering the ring, drawing Raina in as a effort to try and keep the woman from doing so and getting the easy victory from count out. Though it was all a ploy to bring Raina in before snapping the bottom rope against her shin in a painful snapback that made Raina yelp as she stumbled back and held her leg.

Glaring at Tiki the older woman's response only made Raina puff her cheeks out in annoyance at the lackadaisical response. "Hilarious." Raina said in response with the most annoyed look on her face in response to the woman's words.

However time to banter would be over just as soon as it started as Tiki approached once more. Quickly putting her arms up Raina would start stepping closer to the green haired woman, gearing up to face off with the woman. As she saw the woman go in low, apparently towards her legs Raina would nod to herself as she got low herself and bent over, prepared to catch Tiki once she tried to go in for her legs!

Yet this proved to be a ploy once again as Tiki instead shot up, her leg coming up and smacking against her face in a vicious kick that caught her flush in the face! "Ngh!" Grunting in pain from the impact Raina would shoot up from the impact, her eyes very nearly going crossed from it before she nearly lost her balance, stumbling backwards from where she was and no doubt falling over had it not been for the ropes she ran into keeping her up right.

Once again, Tiki outfoxed Raina and earned a significant advantage for doing so. Her kick caught the Heavyweight clean and hard, sending her reeling, stumbling, and then falling into the corner. Having landed another severe blow to Raina's head, Tiki began to entertain the thought of winning by dropping the Heavyweight to the floor with a knockout, kickboxing style.

But that was just one of many options Tiki had for taking advantage of the current situation. With Raina weak and dazed in the corner, the veteran had an opportunity to do something truly spectacular. Tiki had told herself that she would save any sort of attention grabbing for the finisher, but she also hadn't been counting on getting an opportunity this good. Plus, with how Raina looked, there was no promise that what Tiki was about to wouldn't end the match here and now.

Tiki ran up to Raina, but when she got close, the greenette turned away and bent over, bracing her hands against the mat. Then Tiki jumped her legs up and wrapped them around Raina's neck, locking in a Handstand Headscissor. An incredibly high risk move that wasn't incredibly powerful on its own since you could only really get your thighs into it if your opponent was significantly shorter than you. But if you had time, you could turn this hold into something magical. And Tiki knew that she had time.

Tiki bent her elbows and pushed up off of the floor, and then started pulling herself up with her legs and her core. "Uurrrgrrrah..." Tiki groaned and grunted as she pulled herself up with great effort until she was up on top of Raina. Tiki was kneeling on the Heavyweight's shoulders, almost gripping her head and neck to stay on top. Tiki could certainly get her thighs around Raina's neck now, but that wasn't the point.

For as strenuous as getting up on top of Raina was for Tiki, getting back down to the mat would be much easier. The veteran thrust her body forward, pushed off the ropes with her feet, and shifted her weight forwards to start the two wrestler's descent back to the mat. On impact, all of Tiki's bodyweight would come crashing down onto the back of Raina's head and neck, with the greenette pushing her hips down into Raina at the moment of impact to make sure that her attack hit just that little bit harder.

Raina knew that Tiki was gonna be a tough customer, thats why she had tried so hard to play her mind games with the woman before the match started. Just too bad that they didn't seem to do the trick and despite her best efforts she was finding creating openings with Tiki the woman was just too dang tough.

Worse yet she wasn't like other powerhouses who were kind of dumb. In fact the woman was actually rather smart making things all the harder for her as Raina found herself taking more than a few tricks that she fell into rather easily as much as she hated to admit it. The latest of which saw her taking a brutal kick right to the jaw that knocked her head backwards and thoroughly stunned the girl leaving her unable to do much as she stumbled too and fro, before landing against the corner.

This is where Tiki would find Raina, performing a surprisingly acrobatic move for a lady of her age and size as the green haired woman's legs wrapped around Riana's head and, with a loud groan of effort that even Raina heard through her dazed state, she pulled herself up onto the girl's shoulders in a completely shocking reveal! Unfortunately for Raina though there wasn't much she could do as Tiki would then throw herself back, taking Raina head over heels and crashing her down against the mat skull first, sending a resounding impact through the ring that many in the crowd winced at as Raina's body flopped down to the mat in the wake of it!

As Tiki had predicted, Raina had been to dizzied to do anything about the thunderous attack that the veteran had struck her with, despite the rather lengthy and vulnerable nature of the move. Certainly not something Tiki would go for under normal circumstances, but when the belt rode just as much on the visual spectacle of the match as it did on the match's outcome, it was a risk that the greenette wrestler was willing to take.

Having dealt Raina yet another serious blow to the head after already knocking her into such a dizzied state, Tiki believed that if she so desired, she could easily flip the Heavyweight onto her back and cover for a three count pin. With her previous move acting as the finisher, it would be a bad spot to end the match if she wanted to leave an impression. But Tiki questioned if it was enough.

Tiki had the crowd roaring right now after her display of skill and strength. But they weren't cheering in anticipation of the end, or in celebration of Tiki's impending victory. They were cheering for more. Tiki had landed multiple big hits, sure. But Raina had felt them much more than the crowd had. Beyond the true connoisseurs who could appreciate the expertise Tiki had on display, all they had truly gotten was the slam Tiki had just performed. They weren't sated yet. They had only had their appetizer.

Tiki knew she couldn't end it here if she wanted Apex. The crowd would speak too loudly for the judges if she pinned Raina now. But there was also the concern of Raina herself. Almost all of Tiki's significant blows had targeted the Heavyweight's head, including a massive one after her bell was already rung. The veteran, being keen on the health risks a wrestler took whenever they stepped foot in the ring, wasn't exactly keen on beating up on an opponent who was already hurting. But Tiki's decades of experience were useful for more than just hurting opponents. She had an idea of how to protect Raina while still keeping the crowd engaged.

Tiki would grab Raina off of the mat and lift her up. Raising Raina up over her head in a Gorilla Press, Tiki would treat Raina like she was a weight that the veteran had just successfully cleaned and jerked and part of a deadlift. The greenette would then start parading Raina's body around the ring, letting the awe of the smaller Middleweight handling the muscle bound Heavyweight with such ease hold the thrall of the audience despite the fact that Tiki was doing no actual damage.

Rather obviously this match had not gone the way Raina had wanted too. Sure she got her licks in on Tiki but the woman's experience combined with her size and strength made her no joke. Worst yet she seemed somewhat focused to doing some major damage to Raina's cainium with the amount of head and jaw focused attacks Raina had endured so far. That last move especially had really rocked the LAWLESS champion to the point that if Tiki had tried to go for a pin, she probably would have gotten it.

Yet she didn't. Instead it was almost like...Tiki was hesitating. Not wanting to do something or other. Either way Raina couldn't complain since it was giving her time to slowly but surely refocus. Groaning softly as everything became unfuzzy and regaining her spatial awareness to a degree. At least enough to recognize that she was getting picked up by her opponent.

'Oh shit.' Raina realized knowing how bad this was and immediately bracing for the worst... Only for nothing to come. Blinking she would look down and, while a long way from the mat she wasn't being dropped to it, or even really in a position for anything too bad. Rather they were moving slowly, Raina's deadlifted body being used to show off Tiki's strength for the crowd!

'Oh this bitch.' Raina thought to herself with a glare as she reached down to pull on the woman's arms, push them to the side, seemingly to force herself to drop down! Bur Raina was smarter than that, as she did so she would wrap her legs around Tiki's arm that was holding her lower half, and as she grabbed at the arm near her front Raina grab hold too it as well!

If all went well Raina would fall backwards, using her weight, momentum, and wrapped limbs around Tiki's arms to pull Tiki off her feet and over her to try and turn the woman's gorilla press into a crucifix roll up! One that, given the height and weight of both competitors, would surely hit with big force if Tiki's shoulders hit the mat successfully! More over, Raina would move to keep the pin in if it landed which would prompt the ref to drop in for a count!
