LAW Apex Match:Nashi Dragneel Vs Yukino Fuyumi The Dragons Apex

Nashi wasn’t prepared as Yukino sat on top of her like she was a horse. It only got worse when the winter idol began to rain down punches, causing Nashi to jump up and down in pain! She tried to pull her arms for defense but to no avail. Even with all the pain she was in she knew deep down it hurt Yukino to do these things to Nashi!


Yukino stopped for a second and put the pink haired idol In a joint lock! “ughh!” She groaned in pain. Nashi knew how well Yukino was at these locks, but thankfully she prepared for this! Nashi tried to move her body from side to side hoping it would loosen the grip for her to escape!

Yukino had thrown every strike she could against Nashi's guard, but it was quickly dawning on her that she was fighting a losing battle. She wasn't getting past her opponent's defenses, and all she would succeed at was tiring herself out more and more with each blow she threw - her breaths had quickened into pants, and she had to stop to let the aches and pains in her back and shoulders from the exertion die down. But she quickly shook herself, realizing what she could do. Her training with Carol Barlet had helped her discover her talent for joint locks, targeting the small and sensitive parts of her opponent's body with careful manipulations that could prove devastating. Now that she had Nashi's hands right in front of her as the pink-haired girl brought her arms up to protect herself, Yukino knew what she could do.

Grabbing hold of Nashi's wrist, the Winter Idol bent it back as hard as she could. When she heard the groans coming from her foe, her eyes only narrowed more and more, and her teeth clenched in a pained wince. She knew how painful these holds could be, and rather than lying down and submitting, Nashi's stubbornness was only fueling her onward as she continued to thrash back and forth despite Yukino's struggles to hold on, only putting more strain on her joints in the process. Yukino would've felt guilty stretching most people this far - when it was her best friend, it was even worse. "Come on, Nashi..." she hissed under her breath, in a whisper as much for herself as it was for Nashi. "I don't want to hurt you..."

But at last, with a few more bucks from Nashi, she was at last able to get Yukino off of her, forcing her to release her hold as she rolled backward. There, she hung against the side of the apron, bringing one hand against its surface to lift herself onto her feet. She sunk into a stance, her hands raised to defend herself at a moment's notice. She wanted to see what Nashi would do next, but she had to be ready.

Nashi knew that Yukino was in control of the match. It only become more apparent now that she was in a joint lock! Nashi knew she could not submit, even though it was 2/3, each round counts no matter what. She became more determined when Yukino whispered into her ear”don’t worry…. We’ve just started!” She roared out a battle cry as she began to buck off Yukino and it was enough to knock her off!!

Nashi could now breathe knowing she has a chance. She saw Yukino rising and knew just what to do. The idol brought herself to her feet and began to charge aiming for a Superman fist to the face!

This wouldn't be easy - Nashi and Yukino both knew that. Both of them were fighting to the very limits of their potential, desperate to prove that they could make it to the top. They were fighting hard to prove themselves, but they were also idols, and they also wanted to make sure the fans could see them at their best. This wasn't just a struggle for success, it was also a showcase of the very best the Idol Dragons were capable of. And when both of them were determined to make this an effort worthy of the attention, they weren't going to hold back.

Yukino panted a few times, trying to draw enough air back into her lungs to throw herself back into the action. Even as she pushed herself back up she was hunched over forward, as though the fatigue of her efforts was a weight that held down her shoulders. But her eyes locked onto Nashi, and they narrowed with a sense of purpose. No matter the cost, no matter how much it might hurt or how much she would have to put her best friend through, Yukino needed to strive with everything she had in her to win. There was simply no other option. Anything less would call into question her very reason for being here, and if she could truly call herself a worthy contender for the Openweight Championship.

When Nashi took off toward Yukino in a charge, the white-haired girl tried to stand at the ready, preparing to intercept her. But no matter how much she tried to prepare, Nashi simply had too much force behind her for her to defend herself. She was bowled over as the pink-haired girl crashed into her, throwing her onto her back as her legs kicked up in the air! One second later, Yukino was staring up at the ceiling. But she shook the cobwebs out of her head. She wasn't going to stay there for long - she had to fight back! As she rolled back, she bucked with her hips and kicked with her legs, hoping she could fling Nashi off of her with a shout of defiance. She had already been trapped under Nashi once before, and she wasn't about to let herself be vulnerable again!

Nashi knew that this fight was going to push her to her limits. To Nashi she wasn’t surprised, the match already started and she began to pant alongside her friend. She wiped the sweat of her brew before she began her charge, after a successful punch she was soon met by a brutal counter kick “goood one!” She complimented her friend as she stumbled back, but was able to catch herself in time.


Nashi stared at Yukino who was benched over in an arc. Yukino would begin to straighten out, meaning it’s the perfect chance to strike! Nashi ran at her aiming to knee her in the gut! “I’m sorry for this…” She whispered into her best friends ears, if successful she would wrap her arm around her neck and other around her leg. Nashi would aim to raise her up again for another powerful move…. Fisherman suplex!!!

Yukino might have been weary. Nashi was pushing her to her limits, and she could only do her best to keep up. Her muscles were growing fatigued from all the work she was forcing them to do, the world around her was spinning, and she had developed a few bruises from where her opponent had landed some strong hits. The match had barely begun, and already it was taking its toll on her - that was how hard she was pushing herself in the name of working her body to the limits of its potential! But she didn't want to stop - not now. She wasn't going to let this match be over until she had given it her all, and proven that she was worthy of the Openweight Championship!

Yukino managed to throw Nashi off of her before she could take advantage of the position she had taken, leaving her to rise to her feet. As she straightened herself, she looked back at Nashi with a smile - even as they were throwing themselves at each other with fists flying, going to greater and greater lengths to keep each other down, they were still friends, and they would never overlook that. But whether or not Yukino was her friend, Nashi wouldn't be afraid to go for whatever opening she saw! Still overcoming the blow to her head, Yukino was still wavering unsteadily on her feet, and she needed to catch her breath before she was ready to throw herself back into the action. But while she was dazed, she was open. Soon, Nashi was upon her, swinging her knee up to ram it into Yukino's gut - and with a crack, the white-haired girl stumbled over forward, her jaw dropped in a gasp!

From there, it was only a matter of time before Nashi would be able to hoist her up onto her shoulders. Finding herself high above the ground, Yukino let out a scream. At this point, when she was this winded, there was no hope she could escape. All she could do was brace herself for impact, and she squeezed her fists tight, keeping her eyes shut so she wouldn't have to see what awaited her. And even then, when Nashi threw her backward, she still cried out as she sailed downward in an arc, before landing with enough force to kick her legs up into the air, her back bending into an arc as she spasmed from the blow! She sank back down, moaning in pain. Even on the ring canvas, that would have hit hard - and Yukino had taken it on the floor!

Nashi couldn’t believe that already at first round of their apex match, both wrestlers would be using the outside of the ring to fight. She thought it would take for at least the second round but already things were getting intense. The idol could see how dazed Yukino was and had to take advantage of that. So with a heavy heart, Nashi let out a battle cry as she lifted Yukino up for a Fisherman suplex!


Landing the move caused a lout thud to be heard across the arena, with the crowd erupting into cheers seeing the pink haired girl use more powerhouse moves in her arsenal. Nashi stood and saw what became of Yukino. She thought about going for a cover but didn’t want to get the first win in the match without a signature, it would feel like an insult after all Yukino has gone through.

Nashi would roll the winter idol over so she’d be on her stomach. From there Nashi would pull up Yukino but make sure she’s bending down, if successful she would put her leg over her stomach and drop down for the debut of her new signature… Dragon Crush! If the idol was successful she would cover Yukino right there raising her leg waiting for the ref to show up.

Hurled through the air with the full force of Nashi's fisherman suplex, Yukino hit the ground hard - and when she landed, there were more than a few fans in the crowd that winced and looked away. Yukino lay there, splayed out on the ground and taking shallow breaths as she tried to get the air back in her lungs. She stared up at the lights, but her eyes were rolled up in her skull and her jaw dangled limp and loose. The blow had all but knocked all the life out of Yukino...and it was only the first fall!

If Nashi decided to go for a pin, it surely would have taken. But that wasn't good enough for her. This was their chance to show off, to put what they were capable of on display for the whole world to see, and ending this fall so easily simply wasn't an option! If Nashi would bring this round to an end, it was going to be with a bang. And when she pulled Yukino up, swinging her leg straight down like a hammer blow to drive it into her friend's stomach, it certainly delivered - Yukino's feet kicked out from under her, and she dropped straight down, once again hitting the floor with a thud!

The whole arena erupted in cheers for Nashi at the first-ever sight of her new finisher. When Yukino was already knocked breathless, it was no surprise that she didn't even have the strength left in her afterward to move. She was plastered against the floor, her body drenched in sweat and her limbs spread out around her. She certainly wasn't going to fight back as Nashi climbed atop her to hook her leg - or as the referee dove under the ropes to count the pin!

"One! Two!! THREE!!"

As Nashi's fans burst into another cheer, a graphic lit up across the big screen, displaying a score of 1-0 for Nashi and Yukino respectively. Misa hopped up and down, cheering for the two competitors. "There you have it, folks! The first fall is decided - and Nashi Dragneel takes home the point!"

Carol leaned into her microphone to add her thoughts. "What a thrilling first round!! But let's not forget there are still more to go - and if I know anything about Yukino here, it's that we can't count her out yet!!" She had trained closely with the Winter Idol, helping her bring out her true potential, and she had seen the strength and dedication in her. But as Yukino slowly panted for breath, rising to a seated position in a daze and clutching her aching head, it was clear she would need a moment to rest before she was ready to jump back into the fray.

Nashi was left exhausted after busting out three powerful slams in one round alone! Thankfully it managed to work and Yukino was knockout on the floor of the arena. As she raised her leg she was wondering if Yukino could potentially kick out. That wasn’t the case as the ref swooped in with a kick pin count as the arena shot up with applause!

Nashi stood up panting and swearing like crazy, but also knew this was just round one. She took a bow for all of her fans and even striked a pose, with her ruffling up her hair. When Yukino got up she wasn’t funny into it yet and the pink haired girl thought of something fun”hey Yukino remember follow the leader?” She gave her a big grin before continuing”when your ready, you and camera man can follow me! She waved to the crowd as she ran around the ring and up the ramp to the backstage area!!!


The crowd was left confused by this. Normally this would be seen as a forfeit, but the rules state this is fall counts anywhere meaning the backstage area can be used for fighting. Once the winter idol followed up her friend, Nashi turned and said”sorry but since this is Apex we need to show everyone we can adapt to any situation so you ready? she would lean her head down putting her hands out for a lockup.

Once Yukino came to her senses, it didn't take long for her to realize she had lost the first fall to Nashi. She glanced down, letting out a disappointed sigh as her shoulders slumped. She'd given it her all, just as eager to please her fans as she was to win, and it hadn't been quite enough. Still, she shook those thoughts out of her head, and when she looked back up at Nashi, the look on her face grew serious. As she was quick to remind herself, this match wasn't over - far from it! They had only just finished the first fall, but Yukino still had a chance to turn things around. Of course, winning wasn't the most important part of this match any more. What really mattered was showing the world that the two of them had the potential to make it big. Already, they had delivered a fast-paced, intense match that showed the two of them were both fully committed to giving it their all, no matter what it took. Their fans were far from disappointed. And the match was far from over!

"Thanks, Nashi..." Yukino said as she looked up to smile at her friend. "I think I just need-" As she climbed to her feet, a ring crew attendant was just heading over to hand her a bottle of water. But the white-haired girl had barely even touched it before Nashi took off running! As though she hadn't even gotten a little bit tired from the last round, she started running in circles around the ring before charging up the ramp!

"HEY!! Wait up-!!" Yukino downed a swig of her water before she tossed it aside, running after Nashi. She might not have had much warning, but she knew there was no use in hesitating in a match like this - the world needed to see she was ready for action! A cameraman hurried after her - when the crowd was riding this much hype, no one could bear to miss a second of the match!

Soon, the two girls emerged into the backstage area, where Yukino skidded to a halt. She took a moment to catch her breath, leaning forward and panting for air with her hands on her knees. But, as Nashi explained herself, she looked up, nodding her head in agreement as her face grew serious. This was, after all, a Falls Count Anywhere match. That's what they had agreed to, and they were fully prepared to use it to all their advantage in the name of showing off their skills! As she thought about it some more, she smiled when she realized what this meant. Even when they were pitted against each other, Nashi was always looking to help Yukino shine. She owed that to her. And she had to make her proud!

"Thanks, Nashi..." Yukino said, taking a step forward to close in on her opponent. Soon enough, she had forgotten how tired she should have been. "Of course I'm ready! Let's do this!!" A few crew members were going back and forth through the backstage area, but when Nashi and Yukino confronted each other in the center of it all, they had no choice but to stop and watch, captivated by the determination on display as Yukino strode in toward Nashi and took her hands to shove at them as hard as she could. Her teeth clenched in a determined grimace - no matter where this match took them, she wouldn't go down without a fight!
