Big and Small: Lauren Fredericks vs. Asuka Hishashi
Match Type: Standard
Victory Conditions: Pinfall, Submission, Countout, Knockout, DQ
Lauren was told she was going to be facing a lightweight, and she was wary. Her only match vs. middleweight led to her being slammed hard and pinned by the smaller woman. She didn't want a repeat of that performance here tonight. Clad in her blue and white ring attire she double checked herself to make sure everything fit right. Taking a deep breath she left the locker room and made her way towards the ramp. As soon as she got there her entrance music began to play and she grinned, knowing that she had her work cut out for her tonight.
Lauren walked down the ramp, heading right for the ring. She walked up the ring steps and through the ropes standing in the middle of the ring and flexing her arms before heading to her corner and leaning back casually. In the back of her mind she was already thinking of how she could prevent his from going south. She looked confident, but despite the size advantage she had she was worried. She was going to come out on fire, not letting up. She had to be aggressive. Lauren was going to be focused and do all she could to overwhelm Asuka, a high profile, talented and skilled competitor.

Re: Big and Small: Lauren Fredericks vs. Asuka Hishashi
Similar thoughts and worries were going through Asuka's mind at around the same time. While she had, over the course of her career-so-far, proven that she was quite a powerful fighter within the lightweight division; her recent experiences with other weight classes had been... Less than encouraging. Even with the help of Clara Gaster, she had struggled considerably with Alaina Sanders, who happened to be a somewhat aging, formerly-retired (though no less intimidating and certainly no less devastating) wrestler.
And now she was set to match up, alone, against someone of similar size, and of a younger age. She'd lost matches before, so it wasn't too terrifying of a concept, but it was always somewhat humiliating to lose a fight in front of thousands of people, and on live television. The sound of Lauren's entrance broke her train of thought, and snapped her attention back to reality. Where she was half-dressed, and expected to be in the ring in the next couple minutes.
In something of a hurry, she quickly slipped on the set of skin-tight black boyshorts she wore beneath her rather short skirt, then the skirt itself. She had just finished fastening the belt around her waist when a knock at the door let her know her entrance was ready. Hurrying now, Asuka managed to get her thigh-high socks pulled up her slim legs, knee pads fastened tightly in place, and boots tied up in record time. She slipped her red headband on to finish her attire, and then rushed out to the ring.
The sight of her opponent waiting in the ring was a little unnerving. She wasn't the most muscular heavyweight Asuka had ever seen, nor the 'heaviest', but sat somewhere in between. Either way, her arms were likely a challenge even for Asuka's legs, and Asuka was well aware of her own (distinct, and total) lack of muscle. She slipped into the ring, drifted to the center to stand toe-to-toe, and looked up at Lauren, sporting her usual smug smile, and hands rested on her hips.
"Kon'nichiwa, miss.", Asuka said in greeting, and then couldn't help but follow with a taunt. "Aren't you a little old and, er, 'heavy', for this?" she teased, patting her flat, smooth belly and barely holding back a giggle.

Re: Big and Small: Lauren Fredericks vs. Asuka Hishashi
Lauren watched the diminutive woman come to the ring but wasn't thrown off by that. The smaller didn't mean the easier to defeat. Lauren stood chest to chest with her when Asuka spoke up. "H-hey! What do you mean by that?" Lauren said stomping in place a bit, inadvertently showing off the flubber in her legs, small belly and backside. She glared down at Asuka and backed off, crouching as she waited for the bell to ring!
Once the bell sounded, Lauren circled and stayed as low as she could eyeing asuka. This woman was going to be fast, much faster than Lauren. Lauren had to be direct as a finesse approach would not work here. With that in mind she stepped up, moving straight at Asuka and sending a knee strike forward to try to catch the small woman in her abdomen or chest to start off the match!

Re: Big and Small: Lauren Fredericks vs. Asuka Hishashi
Being a fair bit shorter than Lauren, Asuka's chest ended up tucked underneath Lauren's. As with the rest of her body, Lauren's breasts appeared noticeably larger than Asuka's. A side effect of her weight, age, and size in general. As Lauren's tough leotard met her young opponent's smooth bare belly, Asuka cocked her hips to one side confidently. "I mean maybe a diet wouldn't be a terrible choice." she continued, eyes locked with Lauren's to watch her reaction to the pre-match taunting.
When the bell rang, Asuka's first instinct was to make space. She had learned very much the hard way that getting in close with someone bigger than you is an easy way to have a bad time. Compared to Lauren's thudding footsteps, Asuka was moving very lightly and gently, ready to launch herself in whatever direction at a moment's notice, and her skirt flowing smoothly in her wake.
That notice came rather quickly. Lauren aggressively charged at her lightweight opponent, and one big knee came out at Asuka's abdomen, intended to squash into the blonde's vulnerable navel. Before it could connect, Asuka had thrown herself out of it's path, now standing about half a foot to the left of where she had previously been. In retaliation, the younger wrestler played copycat; swinging her right knee out at Lauren's tougher belly!

Re: Big and Small: Lauren Fredericks vs. Asuka Hishashi
Lauren scowled as she swung her leg up, missing horribly as Asuka not only dodged her attack but countered with a hard strike of her own! Lauren groaned and doubled over, stumbling back a few steps as she winced in pain! The bigger woman glared at Asuka, wanting to make her pay for the little comment about a diet. It wasn't that Lauren was a heavyweight, but she was largely less fit and overweight. With a loud howl Lauren surged forward, this time extending her arm and trying to connect with a running clothesline!
It wasn't pretty but she knew it could be effective. Lauren was gambling and hoping she caught Asuka off guard otherwise she would be left out in the open again for another counterattack by the nimble lightweight! Lauren lost to a family significantly smaller woman already, she had to make sure lightning didn't strike twice.

Re: Big and Small: Lauren Fredericks vs. Asuka Hishashi
Asuka's knee had a much stronger effect than she had been expecting. Lauren's size made her seem like she would be much harder to deal with, but her reaction to the opening trade said otherwise. The slender lightweight hopped to the side, landing gently on both feet and facing Lauren. Somewhat annoyingly, her opponent had staggered backwards too far for Asuka to immediately make a follow-up attempt, forcing her to close the distance.
Of course, Asuka being Asuka, she was only encouraged by a successful assault, and sprung forwards in pursuit of her enormous foe. And was quite soundly punished for it. As her first foot came down, Lauren threw herself forwards at the young lightweight, one muscular arm crashing into Asuka's chest like a freight train. Quite expectedly, Asuka hit the canvas, and hit it pretty violently. Her head bounced against the ground, leaving her stunned for a half second before she realised what had happened.
Not wanting to fight on the ground with Lauren, Asuka would roll sideways once she regained her focus, hoping to get some distance from her opponent before getting back on her feet.

Re: Big and Small: Lauren Fredericks vs. Asuka Hishashi
Lauren watched Asuka roll away and lumbered after her, but didn't catch up until Asuka was standing up again. Lauren wasn't about to be deterred though, as she stepped up and tried to send a low punch into Asuka's abdomen to in turn double her over! "You are a speedy little one aren't ya? Well ya can't escape me!" Lauren said as she closed in, trying to keep inflicting damage upon Asuke in her attempts to try to get the upper hand from the start in this match!
Lauren had learned the importance of momentum, how to get it and how to keep it. For her to win on this stage against women younger and more naturally talented the driven older rookie with more soft mass than she cared to admit had to bring her A game every time. This was no exception. Asuka was not going to get off easily if Lauren could help it!

Re: Big and Small: Lauren Fredericks vs. Asuka Hishashi
A smirk appeared across Asuka's face once the young teen was stood back up on her feet. All she really needed to do was make a little space, re-orient herself, and go back at Lauren, and things would go in her favour. Or at least, this was her usual strategy, and it seemed to work more often than it didn't. Of course, her usual opponents tended to be far smaller, far squishier, and far far lighter than this particular one happened to be.
"Pfft, with all that flab? You'll be lucky to -UNNFH!!!". Asuka was rather rudely interrupted by a brutal collision between Lauren's fist and Asuka's belly. While the blow, for Lauren, was rather easy and light, it seemed to hit Asuka with deadly force. Being inside the lightweight division, obviously, meant having some rather strict limitations on your weight. This means that, barring a few unique cases, almost every lightweight pretty distinctly lacks muscle.
The punch sank into Asuka's abdomen with no resistance at all, surprising the rowdy young teen with Lauren's considerable reach and raw power. Doubling over and stumbling back a few steps until her butt bumped into the corner, it looked for a moment as if Asuka might well throw up. Luckily for the cleaners, she didn't. After a few loud, deep gasps for air, Asuka straightened up and looked to be ready to continue.

Re: Big and Small: Lauren Fredericks vs. Asuka Hishashi
Lauren saw Asuka stumble and stood back up, walking over to her as Asuka stepped out of the corner. Lauren wanted to reach in, trying to grab hold of Asuka around the head, trying to get a good hold of the woman in a front headlock! "How'd ya like this?" Lauren shouted. "Not bad for a flabby lady huh?"
Lauren tried to land a sharp knee strike to Asuka's already hurting abdomen before grabbing the waist of her wrestling attire. Lauren bent her knees as she lift Asua up and back, trying to snap herself back to send Asuka to the mat with a quick snap suplex! Lauren didn't want a repeat of facing Arlise, and thus knew she had to keep a steady flow of offense going otherwise she risked losing her momentum. Asuka seemed like the type of speedy wrestler who could pile on devastating offense if she were able to get moving. It was up to Lauren to keep her stagnant.

Re: Big and Small: Lauren Fredericks vs. Asuka Hishashi
Stepping out of the corner, Asuka was immediately met by a large woman charging straight towards her. Naturally, this inspired Asuka to get out of the way as quickly as possible. Trying her best to ignore that her abs and insides felt like mush, the young lightweight pounced sideways to land one foot on the bottom rope, and then sprung herself up as high as possible in an attempt to vault right over Lauren's tall and imposing frame.
If all went well and she managed to get herself down behind the heavyweight, she'd immediately try to drive her boot into the back of Lauren's knee, hoping to drop the heavyweight down somewhat. She planned to get her opponent down low, hit her with a fast kick to the right side of her midsection, and then twirl around her to deliver a high kick into the left side of her opponent's jaw! Quite a deadly combo for dealing with lightweights, but would it be as lethal against someone as strong as Lauren?
