The Lion and the Flyer: Arturo Hernandez vs. Matsuo Yozo

Arturo continued the attack! He leapt onto Matsuo from the front and hooked his arm around Matsuo’s neck, locking in a front facelock. From there he brought Matsuo up to his feet and pulled him in close to his chest, wrapping his arms around his opponent’s torso. Arturo then attempted to fling Matsuo overhead in a belly to belly suplex on the floor. If successful, Arturo would get back into the ring to beat the ref’s count.

Matsuo was down, trying to recover from being slammed onto the ring post on his back, allowing Arturo to follow up by lifting him back up to his feet and throwing him back on his back onto the soft mats with a belly to belly overhead suplex. Matsuo instantly cried out in pain while Arturo gets back in the ring. Matsuo would roll around in pain before getting up at the count of six as he stirs back up and began to climb to the ring apron. From there he would watch Arturo just in case he would attack him while he was behind the ropes.

Arturo saw Matsuo get up at the count of 6. He knew he wouldn’t win by count out, so he waited for his opportunity to strike. Most people would expect Arturo to try kicking Matsuo as he got up. But the crafty Spaniard had a different idea. Arturo gave him his space and waited for Matsuo to start coming through the ropes. Once Matsuo was halfway through the ropes, Arturo pounced and attempted to lock in a front facelock. With his opponent hopefully tangled up, Arturo would attempt to nail Matsuo with a rope-assisted DDT!

Just as Arturo predicted, Matsuo would try to get tight back inside the ring, but he was caught in a front-headlock, pulled to the ropes, and was slammed with an ripe assisted DDT. Matsuo would crash right on his face as he rolls to his back and started to kick his feet around in pain.

Arturo sensed the time was not yet ripe for a pin. So instead he aimed to continue putting pressure on Yatsuo’s head. Now that the high flier was grounded, Arturo knelt beside him and pulled him to a seated position. The Spaniard wrapped his right arm around Matsuo’s neck and pulled him back into his chest. Arturo attempted to clasp his hands together in a rear chinlock.

Being pulled in a seated position, Matsuo finds himself in a chin lock causing him to cry out in agony. "Aaaaaaahhhh!" Matsuo would bang his fist in the canvas while Arturo applies so much pressure on his back and neck. Eventually Matsuo would find a way to escape as he attempted to grab Arturo's hands and pull them apart and if successful he would attempt to reverse the move and apply a hammerlock to Arturo.

Arturo was rather enjoying applying submission holds to Matsuo. However he was surprised by the high flier’s sudden burst of strength. Matsuo successfully pried Arturo’s arm off his neck and spun around behind him while holding his wrist. The Spaniard grimaced as Matsuo locked in a hammerlock. Arturo rose to his feet while in the hammerlock and then attempted to jump, tuck, and roll in an effort to throw Matsuo off him.

"Whoa!" Matsuo only had a brief moment of control in the hammerlock, but Arturo would nanuever around and eventually threw Matsuo off of him. Matsuo landed on his back and also started to roll back to his feet, trying to face Arturo and get back to his fighting stance.

Arturo was getting heated at this point. Matsuo was fast and hard to get ahold of. Arturo wanted nothing more than to ground him and choke him out. But it would take some work to pull that off since Matsuso was good at counters too. So the game of cat and mouse began. While circling each other, Arturo opted to lure Matsuo in and let him make the first move. “Hey, you slippery fuck. Why don’t you come tangle with me like a man?”

"Ask and you shall recieve!" Matsuo responded back to Arturo's harsh words as he quickly went forward and attempted to hit Arturo with two quick right hands to the face and an hard kick to his thigh area, hoping to have Arturo lean back to the ropes for Matsuo's next move.
